"Please My Lord! Don't do this! I don't deserve thi-" the boy was cut short as his head was sliced from his shoulders and rolled onto the floor.
"It's too late now. You disobeyed me!" king Galbatorix roared. He snapped his fingers and three guards came in and cleaned up the bloody, headless corpse.
"Sire! He was only a youn-"He too was cut short as a sword sliced through his stomach, spilling his guts.
"Shut up!" He muttered under his breath. Again he snapped his fingers signaling for the guards to clean up the mess.
The door opened with a creak.
"Whoever disturbs me will be sla…" he roared and turned around to see Murtagh standing in the doorway.
"I do not think that will be necessary, My Lord." He said as he held out the egg.
Galbatorix stared in absolute awe.
"Is that what I think it is or do my eyes deceive me?"
"No My Lord, It is indeed a dragon egg." he said with a grin.
"Come here and let my eyes take a closer look at it"
"As you wish my lord"
Murtagh handed the king the egg.
"Murtagh, do you know what this means?"
"What did you have in mind?"
"With this egg we can finally breed dragons as warriors again and destroy the Varden once and for all."
"Ha-ha. Excellent, My Lord."
