I began when I entered the library, my notorious blush creeping back up again. And Ginny listened, wide-eyed and alert, as I told the story that would change the rest of my year.

"So, I was going into the library to look up books that might help Harry with the second task, and I saw him. He was in one of those huge chairs with a pile books beside him, as usual." Ginny looked confused, so I went on to explain. "Lately, he's been coming into the library and sitting down with these huge piles of books, just sitting there staring aroud. He doesn't even read. So, tonight, he just... got up as soon as I walked in and started walking around. Every time I glanced over, he was looking right at me. I guess I got kinda nervous, and I knocked over a stack of books. He... chuckled, and started toward me."

At this point, Ginny had nearly started choking. I glanced over at her, grinning in spight of myself at the look of surprise on her face. She flourished her hands, urging me to go on. So, I did.

"Then, he asked me. I was so flustered.... I just kinda nodded, grabbed some random books, and swept out of the room."

"Blimey... Viktor Krum asked you. Blimey..."

"Well, you seem to be very surprised," I teased. "But what am I gonna do? You know I... like Ron, but I've already accepted Krum's offer. Should I still go?"

Ginny nodded eagerly, her head resembling a "bobbler" with a broken spring.

"Well, I guess I'll think about it. You know... Sleep on it. I am a bit tired..."

"All right, 'Mione. I still can't believe it... Krum.... Blimey."
