Chapter 2-

August was in its last minutes. It was August 31st, at 11:54 PM. Lars was fast asleep, and was snoring loudly in the bed next to Montague. Montague couldn't focus on sleep anyway, despite the snoring. He had felt different then his parents. He was tired of an all Gryffindor family. Everything about his family was Gryffindor. He wanted to change it, but didn't want a family feud over the house. Montague looked at his parents pictures, from the Yule Ball when they went to school. They were dressed purely in Gryffindor clothing. Montague got up from his bed, went to go inside, and just write how he felt. His father, Micheal was waiting there.

"Monty." Micheal said. Monty was Montague's nickname. Everyone who was involved with Montague as a child, still calls him that.

"Yes?" Montague said, his eyes wide, and he was tired at all.

"You have to go to bed." Micheal said. Micheal was the protective parent.

Montague just simply walked away to the room he slept in. Lars's snores could be heard from a mile away. Montague was about to walk in the room, when Micheal startled him from behind.

"Send me the picture of you in Gryffindor robes, please son?" Micheal asked, as Montague just slammed the door on his father.

The morning sun was seen by Lars' first, his bedroom was right next to the window. He always got up early because of the sun rising. Lars's jumped and scared Montague, as Montague finally feel asleep much later then Lars's.

"Ready my friend?" Lars's screamed in Montague's ear. Lars's screaming was evident by Lars's and Montague's parents at the door, knocking, asking to come in to take the packed trollies. Montague and Lars's hand their over, and Lars's parents offer to take Lars and Montague. The two boys accept, as Montague finds a way to avoid the confrontation with his parents.

Lars and Montague make it to Kings Cross after a long car drive, about an hour. To Montague, it felt like an eternity. The boys finally arrive at the station, and Lars catches on to two boys, one with glasses, brown hair, and very skinny. He seems to Lars a nerd, but Lars ignores that fact, and looks beyond to meet new people. Montague isn't looking at many people, instead fidgeting with his hands, and sweating profusely. Lucky for Montague, Lars doesn't notice him, as he starts to walk away from Lars. They walk to the front of the platform, Lars runs very quickly, he waits for Montague who doesn't show up for the minute that Lars waited for him. Lars walks on, figuring he could meet up with Montague later. Lars walks up to the Hogwarts Express, packs his luggage in the train compartment, and starts to look for a seat. Lars spots two boys, walking. One with longer hair, and a plain face. He was with that boy with the glasses Lars saw earlier. They passed by Lars's compartment, but quickly came back.

"Excuse me?" The boy with the glasses said. "Can we sit?"

Lars pointed to the seat, with a smile. "Right ahead!" Lars exclaimed.

"I'm James, James Potter!" The boy exclaimed. "My whole family has been in Gryffindor!" James said that with pride.

"So have mine!" Lars exclaimed back. James and Lars started conversations about Gryffindor, when the other boy with James spoke up to interrupt.

"Sorry to interrupt your party." The long hair boy said. "But, I need to introduce myself." The long hair boy went on to talk. "I'm Sirius, Sirius Black." "My whole family has been in Slytherin, don't mind me." Sirius said.

James and Lars kept talking and eventually got Sirius to speak. They were having a good time talking, as lars spotted a familiar face. It was Montague.

"Come in here!" Lars yelled to Montague, as he opened the compartment fully. "There is enough room for you!" Lars voice was drowned as Montague ignored Lars and walked away with a boy with long slick black hair, rather ugly Lars thought also.
