High school is finally over! We graduated today. Oh man graduation was boring; with a bunch of nubs getting up and telling us how important this point was in our lives. I just wanted to get that beach ball out from under my shirt. It was sticking to my stomach. When I tried to pull it off, it became obvious why Sam had told me to put it there. Sam brought an air horn and blew it every time miss brigs said the words future or opportunity. It made us all laugh pretty hard cause no one could figure out where it came from it was sooo loud.
I can't believe this is going to be the last time I see some of my friends!
…. Oh and you know who else is joining the marines? GIBBY! I wouldn't have thought that a few years ago in middle school, but playing football really muscled him up. He's always had a way with girls I didn't understand, but when he bulked up and played starting linebacker, girls stood in line to stand in line for a date with that kid., especially when he takes his shirt off. I remember a date auction freshman year…
Sam FINALLY told us she was going to the local smaller college. I think she wanted to go to a bigger school, especially with Carly, but she couldn't afford a larger one. Besides, if she ends up as a policewoman anyways, a bigger college would just be more money.
Carly still says her major is undeclared. I still think she should go with broadcasting. She'd be one the news every night!
I leave for MIT in September. Mom's been stockpiling stuff to send me to college with. When she told me she had supplies I just knew she had gotten me a lifetime supply of tick bath soap, but I actually turned out cool. I think Doctor dad has had a good impact on mom. It's taken a while after they got married, but I can see her calming down a bit. It came in a couple of big boxes and had a refrigerator and………..
Freddie pulled in front of Gibbie's house and parked the car. Carly and brent, climbed out of the back.
Well at least I lost out for a guy going to North Carolina on a basketball scholarship and not some creep like griffin. Wish he'd stay away from Carly.
Sam walked up beside Freddie and slapped on the back of the head.
"Stop drooling Freddick. You've had your chance."
She walked to the back of the car and grabbed her bag of food.
Freddie stood there a few more seconds before sam's words sunk in.
"WHAT?! Really? When!" Her ran over to sam.
Sam looked at him with an amused smirk on her face.
"Never. God you're a real fridiot aren't you?"
Freddie grabbed his portable hard drive with all the videos and music on it for the party.
"Real funny Sam, You are really on a roll with my name aren't you?"
"Yeah, I guess now that I don't have to devote any part of my brain to school, I'm smarter"
"Sam you never-"
"Shut up Freddumb. Are you meeting someone here?"
"No, why?"
"Good now you're my date."
"Wha?!" Freddie decided she must have already started drinking.
Sam grabbed his arm right before the door and pulled him to the side.
She stood in front of Freddie and looked him in the eye.
"Freddie, I'm going to go in there and have a good time. A really really good time. I need you to make sure that m good time doesn't get me into any trouble, or that I don't do anything I would regret."
"Why me?"
"Cause you argue with me. You're gonna keep me out of trouble."
"Oh yeah? And why should I?" Freddie countered.
"Cause you don't want me telling Carly we slept together."
"WHAT?" Freddie about came unglued. "We didn't have sex! I just gave you a place to stay!"
"Sure Freddie. I just hope I wouldn't forget to tell her that."
"Fine" Freddie gave in, not really surprised she had gone there.
