12 years old leonardo sat peacefully in the dojos tatami mats. Though he wasn't meditating,cause as far as he can tell, he just finished his meditating sessions two or three minutes ago. He was sitting there with his ocean-blue eyes closed,just thinking! Earlier in that afternoon mistress Tang shen,the wife of the owner of the orphanage had called him to her office.

Flashback.

Leonardo stood infront of the mistress Tang shens mahogany desk in her well-managed office. Tang shen looked over her paper works the movement she felt young boy coming to her office. She gestured pre-teenager to take a seat in a chair which placed infront of her desk for any guests, which he did with a little nod. She and her husband knew, in the very first day leonardo and his brothers came to their orphanage, which they had decided to start because they hadn't children on their own, the young boy had born to become a smart leader and a brave warrior. So even he was just 8 years old when he came, the elder couple had decided their future leader. Which they announced to everyone in his earlier times of 12.

Even they didn't gave the great burden to his shoulders immediatly, young warrior had worked as a very responsible leader,which surprised the both of them. Even he did his normal daily routine normally, with his kind and innocent behaviour, the two elders had seen the responsibilty that had been held in his eyes. Though he had shown that this great responsibility is no big deal, but inside he took it seriously.

Tang shen's kind brownish-black eyes immediatly met with Leonardo's innocent kind ocean-blue eyes. She can swore that there was a bit curiousty been held in his eyes."Mistress Shen, what do you want to talk about with me? Is it a good news or a bad news?"

Eldery woman smiled kindly at young leader's choice of words. She thought to asked about his life lately, then she can go to the point. "Well leonardo, first of all you tell me how is your life lately?" Despite been confuse by the question, leonardo thought to answer honestly to her questions, knowing that woman can read anyone as a book, just as his husband.

"Well, its been fine as much as it can possibly be with the kindness of master Yoshi and yours, mistress Shen!"He replied politely. Shen's smile turn more wide. 'This boy really does know how to speak smartly. A very good quality of a success leader'

" Oh why thank you leonardo!" she replied with a kind chuckle. " Are you having a hard time with being a leader?" Her kind voice was like an angel singing to leonardo as much as softly she can possibly manage.

" Well it isn't that much hard, If it wasn't for Mikey and Kat who always complain about going to bed earlier and not letting them play! But ended up making new records of sleeping fastly than anyone else everyday!"he successfully gain another chuckle from the kind woman. God, Shen loved to talk with the young leader. He always manage to make Shen happy whenever she called him to her office. In the other hand young leonardo always enjoyed making her happy whenever she called him to her office. Heck even master Yoshi enjoyed the time with him. Even he wasn't the jokester of the family which will remain for Michelangelo and Katlene forever.

Despite his brothers, Leonardo also met a few girls who somehow had equal qualities to his own three brothers. As mentioned, Michelangelo and Katlene were the jokesters if not the youngest and the most innocent couple in their small team. The Donatello and April were the scientists if not the brainese of the team. They would answer any question you would throw at them. They had invented many awesome new invents, which both Shen and Yoshi praised highly. Most of them would get the chance to atleast survive couple of hours,because accidently or on purpose Michelangelo or Katlene would broke it in their most common boredom times. Which after they would recive a long lecture from both April and Donatello, which even leonardo could only understand a half.

Then there are Raphael and Violete. Raph is the tough guy in the team. Even Violete isn't tough as Raphael, still they seem to lot alike. A main reason Raphael's toughness is again Michelangelo who would offently use the hothead as a victim to his famous pranks.

Lastly there was him, leonardo. The leader, the eldest, the protector of the team. Cause there were only three girls in their, team there were no one alike him, but of course being a lovely elder brother as he was he didn't care much about that, and loved his every each brother and and sister equally.

Long lost leonardo was awaken again by the kind and the soft voice of Shen. "So, don't you want to know why i called you?" she asked, unknownly a chuckle released her lips as leonardo startled by her voice. 'The boy must have been lost somewhere' When she and her husband got the news that they won't have any children in their lives to light their hearts, it just broke their hearts. Speclially Shen's heart. She felt so guilty that she would be the reason that their honorable clan, 'the Hamato clan' won't have a future because of her inability to give a birth to a child.

Many times she cried and asked forgiveness from her husband because of her failiure and said if he would like Yoshi can devourse with her and marry another woman that will be able to fulfill the gap that she had given to their honorable clan's future. But every time when she said things like that Yoshi had always reassured her saying he is not mad with her and would never be able to. And then the idea about starting an orphanagae and train every child in it in the ancient art of ninjitzu, just popped in to Yoshi's mind like a electric bulb which could light both his and his dear wife's life.

It was the time that she really thought about it. It really was an amaizing idea which now started to show its results. Never in her life did Shen became happy like that. She really enjoyed the time with kids. Listening to their cute talks, helping them with the obstacles which their fate would throw at them and most of all seeing them grow up slowly was the best thing she had ever asked for.

"Of course mistress Shen!" leonardo answered polietly. Even though he enjoyed this little talk with mistress, he was more than curious to find the reason that made her all-of-a-sudden call to him. 'Must be something very important'.

"Well you already did noticed that master Yoshi isn't here right?" she didn't waited for a reply knowing the curiousty is now growing widely in small leonardo's mind. "He had left in the morning as soon as he finished your morning training sessions. And do you know why!?" she asked from the young warrior as he appeared to be thinking a while. He soon looked up at her gentle brownish-black eyes. " Is another new comer!?" he said the first answer that popped into his mind.

Shen smiled even more gently. Her eyes shone kindly as someone had hidden diamonds in them. " Very good guess leonardo!" she praised. " And yes it is correct! Soon you'll welcome your new sister!"

End of the flashback

He sighed. 'Wonder what the new girl's like. Hope she's good and not that much of a problem. Cause i'm pretty sure that i don't need another goofball around here nor another hothead'. He chuckled to himself from the thought of his younger brothers different identities.

Never in his life did he thought to gain a different life. Once he thought he lost everything, but in mere seconds he gain so much things to replace the lost part of his life and heart. Just the thought of his previous life made his heart ache, the thought of his greatest failure. No matter what he gained, he would never be able to replace them nor he wanted to.

He never wanted to share his past with anyone. No matter how much he loved his brothers and/or his sisters, there are something that needed to be hidden forever.

He glanced at the clock.'It's almost time'. He unknowingly sighed again. Slowly straighting up, he made his way over to the large sliding doors of the dojo. Before he could make it out, the doors busted open, and a pair of pale hands covered with long sleeves of an orange shirt, grabbed him by the shoulders and started shook him invertedly.

"Leo!leo!" The owner of the hands began to exclaim, beaming from ear to ear. Leonardo exactly knew to whom that voice belongs to.

"Mikey! Stop and let me go if ever want to hug me again!" he chuckled seeing the energetic-blonde haired kid clinging to him smiling brightly. Michelangelo pouted from his older brothers words, but it soon replaced by his famous bright beam. "You know what? Today we're gonna have a new sister! Isn't it awesome? Our family's gonna be more big dude! The best family in the whole world!"

Despite for smiling at his baby brother, leo shook his head. 'Looks like he's too late to know that'. But he would never dare say that out aloud, cause it will probbaly brake young one's heart, if he get to know, his eager to say the 'good news' to his elder brother was nothing more than just a waste of time, cause he already knew that.

Even he thought about a complete different answer, leonardo decided to join in to the party! " Seriously? And now that's the best news!" Leonardo's heart lighten more as he saw the beam on his baby brother's face widening more from his answer. His freckles covered cheeks looked like if they were about to split into half by their owner's smile.

" I know right. Isn't it the coolest thing ever!?" he beamed more as his light-blue eyes which shone brightly from excitment began to wander off to the walls of huge dojo which were mostly covered by ancient weapon tracks as his eyes began search for the familiar clock. He soon find it and gasped as his eyes read the time displayed by the ancient japanese clock.

" Ooh! It's about time! Let's go leo, others are waiting for us!" He didn't even waited for a reply from his older brother as he practically began to drag him out of the dojo. Leonardo barely had time to even close the dojo doors, and he let his energetic brother to drag him towards the main entrance of the orphanage. Other kids were already gathering there to meet their new sister. Among them leonardo saw familiar two boys and three girls waiting for them with the crowd.

They took notice of the two boys as they approached to the five-kids. " What took it to you two so long?", a kid among them who had, electrical-green eyes and a spikey dark brown hair asked them from a rather annoyed voice.

" Sorry Raphael! Cause we were too late to welcome our new sister and master Yoshi has already dismissed us!" Leonardo replied to him with an arched eyebrow and a smirk. " Ugh! Whatever!" Raphael admitted his defeat, knowing that no one could ever defeat his elder brother with smart talks. As he sighed with admitting his defeat, the raven haired boy smiled satisfied.

" Seriously leo! You two got so long to get here. Like with a turtle's speed!" Leonardo's second youngest brother who had a light brown-hair with a pair of reddish-brown eyes took sides with his second eldest-brother. " Oh why thank you Donnie!" Michelangelo thanked him with a beam.

The genious brother then turned to his youngest-beaming brother with an arched eyebrow. " I wasn't praising!" Donatello said to the blonde-haired kid while planting his hands on his hips. Upon hearing this words, Michelangelo's smile fell replacing with a confused face. " Seriously?" he asked Donatello with his own arched eyebrow, as his brother sighed face-palming himself. " Never mind!" Donatello groaned knowing it's useless to try to convince his goof-ball brother with shaking his head.

" Come on Donnie, now they came right? Just drop it!" one of the girls,April came between the conversation, convincing the genious to drop the subject.

Brown-haired boy looked at the steel-blue eyed girl who had bright orange hair which is tied to small pony tail. " Yeah! let's keep going already! Look now mistress Shen came too!" Another girl in their small team who had a dark brown curley hair and a pair of dark-brown eyes, said cutting in to the conversation pointing at the slim-eldery woman with a kind smile who approached towards the crowd of children.

" Vi's right let's done this already!" Raphael admitted with the Violete. But he wasn't finished yet. " You guys came or not i'm going!" Raphael said as he began to walk towards the entrance of the orphanage. " Hey Raphie! wait for us!" The youngest girl of the team who had a straight bright-yellow hair and light brown eyes, called for the hot head as she gestured for others to follow her while already running towards the small crowd.

The others looked at each other and followed the two kids.

A car screeching to a halt caught the attention of the kids who had gathered infront of the main entrance. Mistress Shen stood infront of them with her hands collected infront of her hip as she waited for her new kid and the new member of the 'Hamato clan' to step out of the car.

Behind her in the crowd of kids Leonardo could hear his own heart beats faster and faster as he stood beside his 'team' to welcome their new sister. He held his breath as the doors of the car opened and master Yoshi stepped out of the car making his way out of the doors to give a space to his new daughter. Then a beautiful girl with a pair of sapphire-blue eyes and a straight light brown hair which reaches to her hip stepped out of the car.

She looked at the huge building and the kids covering the main entrance. First her eyes displayed a little nervousness before she eyed her surrounding and her new brothers and sisters. Her pale face imeadiatly decorated with a kind smile. Leonardo unknowingly released his breath and soon his face decorated with a smile which wanted to say,'Welcome our new sister!'

He snapped out of his thoughts as he saw master Yoshi gesturing the surrounding infront of him to the girl who stood beside him, who's eyes were shining with excitment. "Welcome to your new home my daughter!" he said kindly as her eyes shone brightly like to say,'Thank you!'. She was utterly surprised when the kids infront of the main entrance began cheer. Mistress Shen soon joined with her husband to take her new daughter inside to her new house. While still cheering the crowd of children began give a space to the eldery couple to take their new sister inside.

While making her way to the inside of her 'new home', her eyes accidently met with leonardo's ocean blue eyes. A pair of ocean-blue eyes met a pair of sapphire-blue eyes. Leonardo stared deep into her eyes and soul before smiling softly at her filling her heart with warmth and happiness. She smiled back as much as softness she can manage to hold in her eyes. Before she was forced to look forward as they passed the main entrance and walked inside to the large room. She looked around the room. Her sapphire-blue eyes wandering off to the two large stair-cases running towards which she can called the second floor begining from the middle of the large room. There were two hallways starting from the either sides of the room. In the middle of the stair-cases there was a beautiful pond and a fountain right in the middle of the pond in the shape of two fish. It was designed to show that the water was sprinkled from the mouth of the two fish.

In either side of the stair-cases were two flower pots, which had beautiful flowers bloomed from them making the atmosphere inside so much fresh. Despite for them, there were other many flower pots placed in different places but in a neat manner. On the walls were beautifull drawings of natural beauty, which instantly entered a calm feeling into her mind. There was a huge electrical vines of bulbs hanging down from the roof. To light the place in day time there were huge windows covering the most part of the walls. 'This place really is amaizing! No wonder that i got a reassured feeling the moment i got here'. She thought to her self as she eyed the place more to discover something she hadn't already.

Yoshi and Shen lead their new daughter over to the large fountain which situated in middle of the large stair-cases, which stood proudly sprinkling water into the pond. They stood right infront of the fountain, facing to the crowd of the kids, who now entered the building, smiles on their faces. When everyone came in the new girl who'll soon be their new sister, eyed everyone carefully with a smile plastered to her lips. She smiled even more brightly as soon as her eyes met with a pair of familiar ocean-blue eyes. Never in her life did she felt this reassurance and safe that she felt the moment her eyes locked with the raiven-haired boy's eyes. And his smile, it was so reassuring, warm most of all safe.

Leonardo and his 'team' entered the building with the other kids behind the eldery couple and their new sister. The moment master Yoshi and mistress Shen stood infront of the fountain with their new sister, he knew when her eyes darted over to the kids that she was looking for somenoe, even when her lips were plastered with a smile. But he never expected to be the person who she was looking for. As soon as his eyes met with her sapphire-blue eyes, her smile grew wide as for asking reassuarance. Despite for being confuse he didn't hesitate to smile back, giving her the same reassuarance feeling that he gave her before. His train of thoughts came to a halt when master Yoshi awakened his voice.

"Hello my children! Today as you already know is a special day for us!" his eyes shone kindly in every word he spoke as he continued with his speech.

"Today we welcomed your new sister and our newest clan member!" from the last three words the girl's eyes darted to master Yoshi and held a confused look. But Yoshi didn't took notice of it. " My child, don't you want to introduce your self to your new family?" Yoshi asked his new child even he already knew who she was. He got a small nod from her as his answer. She looked back at the small crowd before awaking her soft voice.

"Hello! I'm Scarlette! I'm more than happy to join your family"

Phew! Another chapter done! Hope you enjoyed, specially the small moment between Scarlette and Leonardo! And remember this isn't any xOC story. I repeat no xOC's only family and friendship moments! Anyway i'm not that good in describing about appearance but i tried my best! Hope i did it good! And for the ages of the girls, i'll just tell you in the next chapter!

Oh and about TangShen, since she is already dead in the 2012 version show, i'm not sure about her appearance. I just thought about my mom and include her appearance to this. So i guess that's it oh i almost forgot in this story leo is two years older than Raph while the other three have a one-year age difference. And this orphanage is situated in NYC, remember that.

And once again pleeeaaassseee forgive me for any grammer mistakes! I only read this chapter once so i'm not that much sure about those grammer mistakes! Please just be kind to point out any mistakes!
