Thank you pjojellybeans.

Hey! Vanne-the-bookworm. I never mentioned Annabeth once in the other chapter soo here's one just for her!

Disclaimer: Own Percy Jackson I do not.

Out of all the stories I've written. This is my favorite! Don't tell the others.. *wink*

The Girl

Sometimes Annabeth wondered about her abilities. Sure, they weren't as awesome as other half-bloods but did that make her any less important? Annabeth only had one job as a daughter of Athena. Help the others with her intelligence. She's the best of all the daughters, not because she gets 100% on all the tests, but because Athena said so.

"Excuse me,is Annabeth here?"Called a familiar voice. Leo Valdez.

Annabeth smiled but hid wondering what vicious words her sister would use. She never bothered learning this girl's name. She was just too rude to Annabeth and too resentful.

"Not another one, I swear she has a different guy every week."

Leo burst out laughing. "Are we talking about the same Annabeth here? I mean don't get me wrong, she's awesome and friendly but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't say a word and would rather read than anything else."

Annabeth laughed. He's right, she thought. She walked in front of the huge bookcase that she was hiding behind and beckoned Leo to follow.

Leo looked like he always did. A repairman. His tools belt slung low on his hips and he had a smear of grease on his cheek and forehead. He also smelt of smoke. Annabeth was not alarmed. He had an affinity that was physical, unlike Annabeth whose was mental. His was fire. He could manipulate it and create it. It was an astounding sight to see.

"Annabeth,"Leo groaned,"Help me with Festus please."

"The dragon? Or is it the table? No wait the table's Buford. So I'm guessing you need help with the dragon?"

Leo nodded in confirmation then dived into a in depth discussion of the dragons engine and computing units. Going through each component in high detail. Annabeth could tell he really didn't need her help-all she did was interject little warnings and helpful tips-but he wanted to talk to someone. He must have been lonely. He was a peoples person but he was never close to anyone but Annabeth.

That's one thing Annabeth never understood. He was a demigod. She was just a half-blood. Its one thing no-one understood. In Olympus, the gods lived with their demigod warriors. The rest of the demigods were free to do whatever they wanted but had to be aware of there parents needs. They would never socialize with mortals as they were the chosen ones of their parents. Athena was the only god that didn't chose her demigods yet. She had 12 children to chose from. Only 2 would become demigods.

Half-bloods were created when a god has a child with a mortal. Demigods are created when the half-blood has been blessed by the parent and given the Water of Olympus. The almost-demigod must then swear of river styx to abide by their parent and do their bidding.

Annabeth believed this to be stupid. Her mother sat in her throne and watched her children. The chosen 2 would become demigods and the others would stay half-blood but leave Atlantis.

Annabeth remembered the story of Atlantis. Atlantis was made. It was the only place where gods,demigods,half-bloods and mortal lived in complete harmony... The only problem was the cycle. Atlantis stayed buoyant for 200 years then sank to the bottom of the sea for 30 years. During this time, every living creature had to leave or would drown. Surprisingly all information and buildings stayed the same. They didn't break, get ruined or deteriorate.

There was one thing Annabeth knew that none of her siblings did.

In Atlantis, you never aged. Even if you were a mortal consort or like Annabeth,a half-blood.

Annabeth and Leo were debating on which type of bolts should be used when suddenly the Bell of Misfortune rung. It was the only bell that was loud enough to echo through the library and it was the only bell rung only once. It was like the knell.

Annabeth remembered the play Macbeth. 'I pray you remember the Porter,' rings through her head.

She remembers the first time she met a Porter. A Porter of Hades. He tried to kill Annabeth but a knife through the heart kills. Well as long as its celestial bronze. That was the first kill of many.

Leo and Annabeth exchanged looks. They grabbed their weapons and ran to outside. A huge crowd was gathered by the South Gate. You could recognize the gates easily by the statues

The North Gate, had a statue of Zeus and his master bolt. The highest Greek God. He was immortalized along with other Gods.

The East Gate,a statue of Poseidon, with his Trident.

The West gate,a statue of Hades, with his helm of darkness.

Those were the three highest gods. They each own a part of the world we know. Here's the thing. There's only 3 right? So who's statue was at the South Gate…

The greatest beast.
Typhon.

Typhon was known as the "Father of All Monsters." Created from Gaia and Tartarus.;he was the most ferocious creature ever to roam the Earth. Typhon was so massive that it was said when he stood upright, his head brushed against the stars. The lower half of his body consisted of two coiled poisonous viper tails that were constantly hissing and uncoiling,as if daring someone to touch it. Instead of fingers, several dragon heads erupted from his hands. His wings, when spread, could block out the sun. Fire flashed from his eyes, striking fear into the heart of any living creature, even the mighty Olympians.

The Olympians ran when faced with Typhon. Zeus was the only one brave and conceited enough to fight back. When the older brothers,Hades and Poseidon, saw this; they ran to help. Knowing that they couldn't let their little brother outshine them again. No-one was going to forgot about Zeus saving the Olympians from Kronos's stomach.

Leo ran to disburse the crowed but before he could,he stopped in horror. His mouth was agape and his eyes betrayed his body, showing his fear.

"BEAST!" He screamed.

The Beast started towards Leo but changed his mind and left through the South Gate.

Annabeth was thoroughly confused. The man he called a beast was beautiful. Even from far away, she could see his seaweed green eyes and his black hair. He was striking and probably the most handsome demigod she had ever seen.

Once again. Thank you to my reviewers! It means all the underworld(and tartarus) too me! I wonder what type of beast Perseus is?

Hmm...

Anyway I have all the chapters worked out and planning for this story. So never fear;I know exactly how this story is going to go.

1. Who do you think cursed Perseus?
2. What type of monster do you think Perseus is?

Review and Rate and Follow and answer the above questions for .. Something important
And thank you once again to my first follows and reviewers! If only you could see how big my smile is right now.. It actually hurts!
