Hey Guys! Here is the second chapter of The Reincarnation Of Crescent Moon. A few things I will point out, I will have some POV changes but not that many and also if a character is having a thought it will be in 'these'. Also there is a character named Alcide and it's pronounced "Al-Seed". Plus should i do a pairing and if i was going to do one it would be an OcXArmin. Hope You Enjoy! :3

Chapter 2-A New Home

Crying. That was the first thing I heard as my vision cleared. Then a bright light flickered in my eyes, I tried to speak, to say 'turn it off' but all that came out was screaming and more crying. There was a woman holding me in her arms, she was so beautiful, all I could do was stare. The woman was in tears as well but she was smiling so I had to assume her tears were of joy."Crescent" The woman whispered in between her sobbing and laughing. At the sound of that name, my name, everything came back to me, my brother, my school, my morning route to school, my friends June and Amber, my death. Tears started pouring down my face as my new mother tried to comfort me but I wasn't sad or scared, I was happy, I understood what was going on. I had been reborn.

It's not like I didn't miss my old family, I mean I did but it was hard when I felt the same sort of attachment to my new family as I did my old. And I soon remembered the feeling of a loving mother holding me in her arms and a caring father who comforted me when I had nightmares, I was beginning to like this family better. I quickly noticed that I wasn't born in a hospital but in a warm cottage-like house, and the clothes my new parents were wearing looked very outdated. A warm fuzzy feeling rose up inside of me as I thought 'am I in a mythical world!'. I began laughing and my mother began laughing as well, I quickly stopped as I jumped in my mother's arms as a wooden door creaked open and there stood a rather small boy in a pair of tan trousers and a loose, brown top. I smiled even wider than I had with my mother as I outstretched my arms to the boy, just like I had done in my old life when I was born. I started having a laughing fit while my mother gestured the boy to come over to us, she quietly stated to the boy "Hey Alcide, say hello to Crescent. She is your new sister." The boy, Alcide, gave a big toothy grin as he walked towards me and said with a tilted head like a puppy "Hello Crescent, I'm your brother. I really think you will enjoy your life!"

The next few years passed by like a breeze. It was a normal life, I began to walk at the age of one, my first word was brother which I said at the age of two but when I could manage a full sentence at the age of three I asked my father "where do we live?". The answer I got nearly made fall to my knees and have a heart attack."Oh, we live in the Shiganshina District sweetheart" my father replied. I swallowed down my horror and gave a short, quick "kay". I walked to my room and pulled out my notebook of my past life which I had hidden in a hole underneath the wooden floorboards, I had to hide my intelligence because people would question how a three year old could write full stories in extremely neat handwriting and how she could have a full conversation like a fifteen year old. In my notebook I had sketches of past life inventions because I quickly noticed that there was no technology, food and drink that was not in this world, a daily diary about my new life and a whole section about Shingeki no Kyojin. I took a new page and began to write 'I have made a most terrifying discovery, this new world that I have been reborn in isn't as peaceful as I first believed. I have been reborn in the Shingeki no Kyojin world, maybe god hated me, I guess I will never know.' I took my homemade pen which I made from a bird feather that my father bought for me from the market and began to brush the soft side against my cheek.'I need to find out what year it is' I thought to myself, I closed my notebook and shoved that along with my quill and my homemade ink, which I made from some berries and other thing, back into the hole and replaced the plank of wood, I then started skipping out of my room trying to look happy. I said to my father in a very childish voice "father, what year is it?" My father laughed, "Crescent, where are all these questions coming from?" said my father in a very playful voice."I'm just cur...curi...curois." I deliberately mucked up the pronunciation of curious to make me sound dumb. My father chuckled lightly and said "it is the year 839." 'six years' I thought to myself. "Thank you Daddy!" I nearly shouted as I smiled and walked back to my room, I wrote down this new information and made a note underneath that in the year 844 I had to make some emergency packs for my family. As soon as I had replaced the plank of wood my brother walked in, he never really had any sense of privacy in this life or the old one, I loved Alcide because he never treated me like a precious little girl and he never babied me. "Hey Crescent! What ya up to?". I just grinned and tapped my nose as I watched him with observant eyes. "Oh, so that's how it's gonna be." I knew what was coming but as I tried to run he pulled me to the ground and began to tickle me, I began to have a laughing fit and I almost forgot to breathe. My brother only stopped when he saw my face go a nice shade of blue and purple, after I had finished laughing he helped me to my feet as our mother called us to dinner.

POV Alcide:

I always knew there was something special about Crescent, they way she walked and the way she talked, but only to me, it's as if she feels more at home with me than our parents. Her speech with me was always above her level, but sometimes she would notice and dial it down to be more like a three year old. I used to think she was going to be one of those child geniuses and I still think that but because she would dial her level down has got me thinking that it's as if she is older than she actually is. In all honesty, the first moment I saw her I felt a sense of recognition, like I had been close to her before, but how is that possible? She was just a baby when I had this feeling, I don't believe in reincarnations but could they be real? But no, it can't. Wouldn't I remember dying? maybe you don't keep your past life memories, or maybe I wasn't the one that died. I was quiet for a month after Crescent was born just thinking. I pushed the feeling aside and began to bond with my new sister. I loved being a big brother, especially being so much stronger. I was six years older than Crescent so I had the power to protect her from everything, even the titans. The age limit for joining the cadets was fourteen, and I knew I would join. I always thought about it. I thought about how I would be leaving my family even though I would be able to see them again it would be awhile and I thought about what regiment I was going to join. People would always say the Military Police could get whatever they wanted so for someone trying to help their family they would be a great choice, but I could see the truth, they were all corrupt pigs that only cared about themselves. Plus I didn't want to just help my family, I wanted to protect them, so it was between the Scouts and the Garrison. I knew how terrifying the titans looked because my father had a good friend in the Garrison so sometimes if I pleaded for so long he would take me up on wall just for a minute to look over, the titan's were all swarmed along the edge of the wall as cannons fired at them, all I wanted to do was protect my family, but everything changed.

POV Crescent:

I was having a happy life but it all changed. When I was four years old my father went on one of his business trips to Wall Sina and never returned, and after I turned seven my mother fell ill with a mysterious virus so my brother was the one looking after me. Just like before. Me and my brother really wanted to help our mother but no one was working so we had no source of income, we both decided that we had to get a job. Alcide went to work for the local baker and that was enough money for us to live on but we couldn't hire a doctor so I did some errands for people to get extra money. I finally managed to earn enough money to hire the local doctor, I ran home with my pouch that I had put all my errand money in as a surprise for my mother. I crashed through the front door and ran to my mother's room, I skidded to a stop just outside her room door. "Mother? Are you awake?" I asked in a gentle tone. I heard a few sickly coughs before a wheezy "come in". I slowly pushed open the door to see a pale woman with bags under her eyes, I gave a small smile before sitting on the bed next to my mother before she sat up and rested her back on the headrest before coughing again. I couldn't help but frown at my poor sick mother,I was determined to not let my new mother die like my old one. I smiled before my mother could see the frown plastered to my face,"I have a surprise for you" I said in a cheery tone. My mother looked confused so I pulled the pouch out of my pocket, took my mother's hand and wrapped her hand around the pouch. Her face turned from confusion to shock, I started to explain that I did small jobs for people to get the money and after I finished she pulled me into a hug and began to cry, The next day she sent Alcide to get the local doctor and I didn't even think about who that would be.
