I hope you guys like the story so far. If everything seems weird, or some chapters dissappear, or anything like that, sorry. Just figuring this out. I accidentally did everything in the wrong order. I posted a story, then tried to figure everything out. I feel stupid.
Spyro flew around frantically, trying to find Cynder. He searched until nightfall. He couldn't find the black dragoness in the night, so he made a little fire, so that if Cynder was anywhere near, she would find him. He fell asleep.
Cynder woke up in the night. She was too weak to move. She could see a little light in the darkness. Spyro was next to the light. She forced herself up, but fell down from dizziness. She managed to whisper "Spyro," before she passed out.
Spyro woke up late in the morning. He saw a passed out Cynder not 100 yards from the fire. Wondering why he never saw her, he rushed over and inspected her. She looked fine. He picked her up gently and placed her on his back. Spyro carried her to the ashes left from the fire. He put her down and tried to wake her up. He shook her, said her name, and tried both at the same time. He had one more idea up his sleeve though. He got some water and splashed it on her face. She woke up, spluttering a little bit. When Cynder got her breathing under control, she said
"Spyro?"
"Yes? What is it?"
"Where are we?"
"I don't know. I explored a little and thought that it looks a lot like Avalar, but
this place doesn't have a river or a village."
"Did you see anyone?"
"No. Cynder?"
"Hmm?"
"What do you remember?"
Cynder didn't understand the question.
"What do you mean?"
"After the fight with Malefor. All I remember is a little talk, then bringing the world back together. I don't remember the words in the conversation we had, though. I was wondering if you did. So, do you?"
"Yes."
Cynder told him everything. She only hid the last 3 words she said on that day.
"Is there anything else we said?"
"Er, no." Cynder said, a bit uncomfortable.
They talked like that for the rest of the day.
They woke up early and started to leave the place. They were both tired and very hungry, but they pushed on. When they couldn't stand it anymore, they found a cave to sleep in. Spyro went out to find some food, while Cynder stayed behind and made a bed.
When she was done, she rested on the bed, waiting for Spyro to come back. She had a lot of time to think. She began to think about her entire life. She remembered when she fought Spyro so long ago. She remembered when she left the temple. She remembered fighting Gaul. Then, she remembered the last words after Malefor. She felt her face grow hot when she thought about it.
Then, Spyro came in with an entire moose, which he dragged to the cave. Seeing Spyro, she blushed even more. When Spyro saw, he came over and asked, "What's wrong?"
Cynder said, "Nothing," then blushed harder.
A very confused Spyro walked back to the moose and dragged it farther into the cave, saying, "I found food!"
Cynder laughed, "Thanks, captain obvious!"
They both laughed at that.
After they finished the moose, they got on the bed and tried to go to sleep, but it was a tad small. They were touching, which made both of them go crimson. Spyro was wondering whether or not Cynder made the bed like that on purpose. He shook his head and fell asleep.
Hello again. Another short chapter, but it is better than the last one. I am hoping to get 1000 words on the next chapter, so my fingers are going to die. Again, constructive criticism is always helpful. The writers block is strong within me.
