Rating: K+

Why am I always procrastinating this I don't even lol So late, but I promise to finish this WITHIN the month.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

As intelligent as Sasuke was, sometime he just couldn't control the words coming out from his mouth. Clearly the reason why he preferred keeping to himself. Things said without being thought through was dangerous, and having a wife as sensitive as the one he had, a loose brain to mouth filter was always a matter of life and death.

"Did you just call me fat, Sasuke-kun?"

He wisely kept his mouth shut and shook his head. He had tolde her rather stupidly that she was growing heavier when he saw her half-asleep on their couch. How would he know that she was actually awake? Sakura could perfectly look like she was dead without any effort whatsoever especially if she just got home from work at the hospital.

"You just said that I grew heavier," she narrowed her eyes, placing her hands on her wide hips and bringing his attention to her round stomach, "don't you dare lie to me Uchiha!"

He racked his brain for something to say but his mind came up blank. Sighing, he decided to just tell the truth and get this over with. Sakura's emotions were all over the place because of her pregnancy and she easily transitioned back and forth from being angry to sad to happy then back to angry again. At least her temper easily cools down.

Sakura stared him down, quite a feat to do especially because she was a good head shorter than him.

"Well?"

"You are heavy," he said and internally panicked when she actually stared at him in shock at his blunt observation, as if she had expected him to deny it. Before she could throw a tantrum judging from the wetness visible in the corners of her eyes.

"But you are heavy with my child and I don't see what's wrong with that."

Sasuke watched as his wife almost literally melted with his words. Her lips slowly formed into a smile that he couldn't place if it was shy, ecstatic, or embarrassed, but it was the most beautiful thing that he ever saw. She caressed the bump in front of her, her cheeks turning into a wonderful shade of red.

"Your baby, Sasuke-kun." she whispered almost as if in awe.

Sasuke made his way towards her, warmth spreading into his chest at the sight of the woman who had captured his heart. He wrapped an arm around her and pressed a kiss on top of her head.

"Our baby."

Cliche, I know.
