Today was one of Laura's rare day's away from the academy, even during the student's breaks there was still much work to be done. It was 7am in the morning and for once Laura was glad she did not have to get out of bed for another few hours, although that didn't stop her from waking up. She assumed her regular position of laying her cheek on Ichika's chest, she slowly traced circles on him watching his chest rise and fall as he slept. She took much care in being careful not to wake him lost in her own thoughts, that is until she heard his voice. "How long are you going to do that". Laura smiled closing her eyes, "And do tell how long you have been awake?". Ichika grinned turning over pinning her under him, " Long enough". A light blush crept upon her cheeks until her eyes quickly turned to their bedroom door. She spoke in a soft voice "Ichika..". Ignoring her he placed a few kisses alongside her neck. She tried to speak again in a stern voice but instead it came out softly and broken. She placed her hands on his shoulders trying to push him off, instead that resulted in her wrists being pinned to the bed as well. Before she could protest, Ichika placed his lips against hers. Laura closed her eyes as she wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss that seemed like it lasted forever. After a short time she broke off panting lightly, her eyes slightly open as she spoke softly, "Th..the kids are up…" Ichika's grinned down at her before speaking, "I know".
*CRASH* "ICHIKA YOU JERK!". And that was how their day started in the Orimura household. The commotion could be heard throughout the house as their two daughters sat in the living room. Chika smiled hearing a sigh as the figure took a sip of her tea while Chika sat in her lap. Chika shook her head, "Not always Oba-san, they're usually loud at night". Ichifuya looked over to her Aunt seeing an irritated look on her face as she giggled.
Moments later Laura came downstairs in a black sweater and pajama pants. She walked in the kitchen hearing three voices telling her good morning. She yawned a good morning before going through the fridge, she froze for a few seconds as her eyes widened before slamming the door shut sputtering out words instinctively giving a salute. "I..instructor!?". Chifuyu sighed before waving her hand in a dismissive manner, "You are not a student anymore Laura and we aren't working right now". Laura sighed relaxing seeing Chika in Chifuyu's lap. "What are you doing here..n..not that i mind you being here". Chifuyu glared at Laura as the poor girl tensed up once more. "Don't tell me my idiot brother didn't tell you he had me watch over the kids for you". Laura shook her head nervously as Chifuyu's glare intensified before she heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Before Ichika could greet everyone, Chifuyu stood over him so fast that Laura almost did not see it thanks to her eye. *SMACK*
Ichika groaned in pain as held his head whining softly, "Chifuyu-nee what was that for?". She growled slightly at him "That was for not having the decency to tell your wife that I was coming over". *SMACK* "And that was for being a damn pervert!". Ichika winced covering the small bump on his head as a confused look came across his face "A pervert?". *SMACK* Ichika held up his hands in defense as he spoke,"Okay okay im sorry!". Chifuyu sighed before settling back down as she muttered, "Some things never change". Ichika smiled taking a seat on the couch with Ichifuya in his lap as Laura sat beside him before he spoke. "Thanks again for agreeing to watch them for us Chifuyu-nee". Chifuya's gaze lightened as she smiled "Don't worry about it brat". Laura looked confused as she looked over to Ichika attempting to speak. Ichika only shook his head smiling "Don't worry about it Laura just a few things I needed to get done". Laura sighed nodding, "Well...i guess ill go get ready then".
Ichika watched her go upstairs until he was sure she wouldn't hear. Chifuyu kept her calm demeanor before speaking although the excitement in her voice could be vaguely heard. "Do you have everything ready?". Ichika nodded, "Yes Chifuyu-nee, although I want to keep it a surprise of where we are going as long as possible". Chifuyu sighed, "Yes, but knowing what you're planning you have better be fully prepared". Ichika smiled down at Ichifuya in his lap as she played on her tablet. He spoke softly holding her close. "Im still not fully prepared to be without these two….but I know that they will be in good hands". Chifuyu's eyes widened slightly before her lips spread into a small smile as she lightly rubbed her thumb across Chika's hand as she slept in her lap. She looked at her brother warmly, "You've done a good thing Ichika, I'm proud of you". Ichika could only smile in response before looking down at his daughter as she too began to slowly drift to sleep. "I know Chifuyu-nee….thank you".
Meanwhile in Schwarzer Hase Headquarters
1500 Hours
The constant tapping could be heard going down the hallway as a woman with short blonde hair in a layered bob cut and a beret stopped at the gate panting softly with a clipboard in hand. She quickly input the code to the gate as she entered the central room before standing at attention saluting. She spoke in a loud but subtle voice directing it to the person in front of her. "Commander Harfouch!". Said woman with her blue hair cut in an angled bob saluted back. She spoke loud and quickly, "Report!". The blonde smiled proudly before standing back at attention. She spoke quickly wasting no time. "Preparations are complete and everything is in order and awaiting your command Commander!". Clarissa grinned before turning back to the monitor speaking once more, "Everything will soon be in place". She turned back to the woman showing her a sharp grin, "Tell the Extraction Squad to commence phase 2". The blonde saluted once more quickly exiting the room as Clarissa sat back at her desk her fingers intertwined as she continued staring at the monitor, a smirk growing on her face.
