Awesome reviewers who make me want to continue this story, chapter 3 will be in the making maybe later this week.
I was concerned it wasn't going to be good, thanks so much!
~enjoy!~
"Mmngh..." A groan left Weiss' mouth as she strained we eyes to open. The blinding caused her head to spin as she dropped her head back onto the pillow her head rested on. Her throat was parched, as she tried to adjust to her surroundings.
clank!
Weiss turned her head, but immediately regretted it as her head throbbed. The person staring at her had dropped their glass, blue eyes wide with shock.
"Doctor! The Schnee is awake!" He shouted obnoxiously loud, and her head throbbed more. She looked at her side, puffy bandages instead of bloody clothes she'd had on when she had been attacked.
"Miss Schnee." A deep voice made her look up, slowly.
a tall man with red framed glasses made his way over to her bedside.
"You were attacked and mauled by Beowulves I do recall?" Weiss nodded.
The doctor sighed for a moment.
"You're aura was down, and for no reason other than something peculiarly strange that the abnormal grimm was able to immediately pierce and shatter your aura. And their seems to be an unknown substance merging with your blood cells."
Now that caught Weiss' attention.
"What?"
The doctor met her gaze, as his gaze held confusion also.
"It doesn't seem to be dangerous, so you'll be able to return to your home late today. You must also be very careful not to rip your wounds open again, but see I you have your aura back, you'll be fine."
Weiss nodded, settling back on the bed, her back was sore too.
She tossed herself to her side, staring out an open window, pondering on just how she would get back to Beacon, her aura was barely working and she had injuries, no way she'd get back without having to heal fully.
She would worry after her nap.
Eyes grew heavy and eventually she settled into a trouble sleep, dreaming of her teammates, and really tasty whipped cream.
...
"Weiss still hasn't come back!" Ruby whimpered, hanging halfway over her bed. She was still dressed in her pajamas as she looked up at the ceiling, sighing.
Yang mumbled something incomprehensible as she turned over in her sleep, snoring soundly. It was almost noon, and the weekend, so Weiss had no reason to be at the library or in class.
Blake was lying awake, her bow twitching faintly.
She held her another book, unironically in her hands as she spoke with her usually monotone voice.
"Maybe she went somewhere else. I don't know where but maybe it was private business." Ruby still looked unconvinced as she fell off the bed with a yelp, Yang grumbling as she was awakened by the loud thump! That resonated in the room.
"God, Rubes, to back to sleep." Yang glared at her little sister as her mess of hair peeked two tiny red pupils, as she basically looked like a lion glaring at it's prey. Ruby mumbled an apology, before she looked at Yang with barely hidden apprehension shining in her silver eyes.
"Weiss hasn't come back."
Yang sat up, stretching as Ruby gave a whine before kicking Weiss' bed softly. Ruby decided to at least get ready in her regular clothes, ones that were for combat and wouldn't rip easily, her combat outfit, owo all she wanted was to see her best friend, it She didn't even know where Weiss was.
Ruby used her semblance and quickly changed to her outfit, before disappearing out the door, Yang and Blake heading her faintly call for her friend and teammate.
Yang flipped back onto her bed, grumbling about needing to get her beauty sleep. Blake of course, slipped into he bathroom to take a nice warm shower, as she was sore from her whatever she'd done the night before.
...
Weiss opened her eyes, she felt a bit better, her head wasn't pounding.
She sat up, looking to the open window that sat so inviting. Something from behind her mind whispered. 'come on, you know you want to get out of this stupid place.'
Weiss shook her head, whisking the thoughts away.
'Ice Queen.'
Weiss blinked, looking around, who had said that? There was currently nobody in the room she rested in now. Was it that thing in her head, was it what she'd dreamt of when she'd taken a nap.
'You and I both know you want let yourself free.~'
It sounded like the voice she heard when she was little it was heavily subdued back then, but now it sounded...terrifying as she felt herself grow restless in her bed, eyes trying not to close out of fear of what would happen if she saw it.
"Come on Weiss, let your wolf out. She needs to have fresh air too.'
Weiss relented, opening her eyes they had a very faint greenish tint to them as she grabbed Myrtenaster in one hand and crashed through the window, relishing the colds air on her skin as she heard screams of her name to come back.
"This feels great!"
'Told you.'
Weiss ignored the voices sneer as she felt her side burn for a moment. Looking down she gasped, her bandage was oozing a nasty dark green liquid. She shook her head, snapping out of her trance. She peeled the bandage back, and was greeted with nothing. Her skin was perfectly healed and she could breathes fully again.
'Do I get at least a thank you for healing us?'
'No?'
'By the way, I'm here forever, Queen.'
Weiss groaned as her head pounded, as she held her head. Her eyes became light blue all the way again, no sign of the green was there.
Weiss slightly crouched down onto the forestry as grimm paid no attention to her.
'They're out friends, now.'
Weiss began to run, Myrtenaster sheathed as she jumped from tree to tree. Maybe today she would spend one more day out, it certainly felt good being away from Yang, the blonde haired bimbo.
...
Ruby sat by her team at the small restaurant they decided to vacate for lunch. But Ruby's mind was elsewhere, focused on a certain heiress. Ruby sighed, almost thinking that she would possibly just show up.
But fate had other plans.
Blake felt her ears twitch, as she looked to the side hearing a creak from outside. Faunus had heightened senses, and night vision, so she saw someone jumping from building to building, she literally spat her drink out.
"Holy shit, it's Weiss!"
Both sisters bolted up, looking where Blake pointed and was now running. The other teammates followed swiftly, looking for their teammate.
...
Weiss leapt from building to building, the voice was gone from her mind, but probably because it wanted feel free again. She stopped, perched on the edge as she sat down, closing her eyes.
"Weiss!"
She ignored the first call, opening her eyes to stare at the stars.
"Weiss!" That was much closer, grumbling she stared at her teammates who were below her on the ground, sorry sketching their faces. Weiss rolled her eyes.
"What."
Weiss felt the voice come back twice as strong.
'Run! Run! We're not a team, we're a lone wolf!'
Weiss grumbled back at her other being in her head. "Stop it. Their my team."
'And wolf faunus don't have teams we have packs, and you sure aren't the leader of this pack, Alpha!'
Weiss heard her teammates call to her again as she fled away from the building, her eyes taking on a share of emerald green again. Stopping she looked back to see her teammates running after her. Chuckling a bit, she launched herself up a building, class seemed to unsheathe from her hands as she scraped her way up a building ledge.
"See if you can catch me now!" Weiss muttered as faster glyphs across the cold air that stretched out beneath her.
"Schnee, stop." Weiss turned her head, seeing her teammates right behind her.
"Where have you been Weiss!" Ruby shouted, as she opted to put Weiss in a bone-shattering hug. Weiss groaned in pain as she felt her ribs being squished. They were healed, but still sore.
"Don't squeeze me, my ribs just healed." She managed to hiss out.
Yang stepped forward, her eyes a blazing red. "Weiss where have you been? And why were your ribs broken?" Weiss took a step back onto her glyph.
"I merely had an accident." Weiss snapped, her eyes blazing a dark green mixed with blue. Blake gasped, and Weiss turned to her. Blake pointed a finger at Weiss. "What happened out there?!"
Weiss suddenly felt extremely tired.
"Let's get back to the dorm. I'm tired."
...
Ruby opened the door, she had been strangely subdued since they began the trek back to Beacon. Weiss just got up to changed. "Nasty, my clothes still have blood on them." Weiss murmured, but Ruby heard her.
'That's what you get for picking a fight with our friends, Weissy.'
Weiss clenched her fists together, and Ruby piped up.
"Are you okay, Weiss?"
"I'm fine, drop it." Weiss slammed the door to the bathroom shut as she relaxed. She was changing when she looked down at the base of her spine. A small turf of the was attached to her body.
'looks like we'll be together for a long long time. Though I wasn't expecting you to turn 2 days after you got attacked by our friends, Weissy cream~.'
Weiss froze, clenching the side of the sink. She's turning into a faunus? Oh god, what if her team found out, what if her father found out. But that's right. Her mother was a faunus. She was half-faunus. That meant. Oh god. It made complete sense.
She turned the knob, ignoring the stares of the her friends as she lay on her bed, under the covers, opening her scroll. She got a text.
Ruby:
Weiss are u ok?
Weiss:
I'm fine.
Ruby:
u dont seem like it
Weiss:
just, we'll talk tomorrow, just me and you
Weiss turned her scroll off, she knew she shouldn't have been able to sleep easily, but it seemed all the jumping and running she'd done was finally taking a toll on her.
She finally fell asleep, while her teammates, we're awake for a few minutes longer, eyes hovering on the nasty blood on Weiss' sword, and her clothes. What happened to her?
They'd find out soon.
A/N: Hey guys, I got a sudden boost of motivation and wrote 700 words in 20 minutes, wow! Anways, hope it was a good chapter, and sorry for awkward pacing! Wonder what's happening to Weiss, and she's heard that voice before? Hmm...
