Fiery Love
Chapter Two: Team Shadow
"Let's get this tournament started!" Blader DJ shouted making the audience scream. "Now let's meet our teams! Their from this country, it's Team Dreamers!" Zero, Shinobu, Kite, Eight, Takanosuke, and Sakyo stood on one side of the stadium. "And the other team: Team Shadow!"
On the other side was a lightly tanned boy with spiky dark blue-gray hair that curls at the end with dark blue eyes wearing a long white trench coat, a gray shirt underneath, black pants, and silver shoes.
There was a very pale skinned girl with pink, blue, and green highlighted purple-gray hair and yellow eyes wearing a black shirt under a very dark brown coat, dark purple pants with black lining, and dark blue shoes.
Another girl was tanned skinned and had ankle-length silver hair in two long pigtails with piercing blue eyes wearing a long sleeved purple shirt that had tears on the shoulders with string holding it together, matching pants, and brown Greek-like sandals.
The last girl was pale skinned with long orange hair that reached the back of her knees into a point with black bangs and bright blue eyes wearing a white shirt, blue sweatpants, orange-and-yellow shoes, and had the same jacket as Zero.
"The first battle will be: Kite VS Storm!" Blader DJ shouted as Kite and the blue-gray haired boy stood on the platforms which rose. "Nice to see you cousin," Kite said tauntingly to the blue-gray haired boy. "Hope you don't lose it when you lose."
"Oh dear cousin," Storm said tauntingly too. "It will be you who will lose it." They got their beys and launchers ready. Storm's bey looked a bit like Guardian Leviathan but was colored silver, purple, and black.

"Let it rip!" They launched and the beys hit before chasing each other and making the stadium rotate. "Go Leviathan!" Kite shouted as Leviathan neared the other bey. "Dodge it Griffon!" Storm shouted as Griffon sped up.
"Leviathan!" Kite shouted as Leviathan hit Griffon several times before it was repelled. "What?" He asked before Storm chuckled. "Griffon's fusion wheel is a rubber fusion wheel," Storm explained. "He will absorb the attacks from opponents then use their power to strike!"
'Okay,' Kite thought. 'Time to use it!' "Special move!" Leviathan slightly glowed. "Leviathan! Final Splash!" The whole stadium was surrounded in water as a lobster-like beast came out and roared before charging.
"Griffon!" Storm shouted as the wind started to pick up. "Special move! Feather Storm!" A purple griffon came out and lashed its wings to let its feathers out as arrows on the other bey.
A huge explosion appeared and smoke surrounded the whole stadium. Once it cleared everyone was surprised: both beys weren't spinning. "It-it's a tie!" Blader DJ shouted as the two got their beys, after their platforms were lowered, and walked back to their teams.
"Why didn't you tell us one of them was your cousin?" Zero asked Kite and Eight. "We didn't recognize him at first." Eight said as they waited. "For the second battle: Darkia VS Ren!"
The tri-highlighted gray haired girl walked up to the platform as Ren did. "This time I'll win." Ren said to herself as Darkia looked around and frowned even more. 'Where is he?' She thought before readying her bey and launcher.
Her bey was silver and black while it had a resemblance to a certain wolf.

"Let it rip!" They launched and the stadium started rotating. "Go Phoenix!" Ren shouted as Phoenix tried to hit but the other bey dodged. "Now Wolf!" The silver and black bey attacked Phoenix ferociously.
"Wolf's fusion wheel is a thermal fusion wheel," Darkia said calmly. "Since Shadow Wolf is a stamina type it's perfect." Wolf kept attacking and forced Phoenix into one of the pockets.
"The winner is Darkia!" Blader DJ shouted as Darkia retrieved Shadow Wolf and got off the platform when it lowered. "The next battle will be Miyako VS Takanosuke!" The silver haired girl walked onto the platform and readied her launcher.
Her bey was similar to Earth Eagle but it was all black, even the fusion wheel. "She's Miyako?" Maru asked as they launched their beys. "You know her?" Zero asked her curiously. "She is the director's niece," She said excitedly. "Now I can see her battle!"
"Raven! Darkness Flight!" Miyako shouted as her bey glowed black and rushed towards a wobbling Griffith and knocked it over. "Miyako takes this round!" Blader DJ shouted as she retrieved her bey and got off the platform to receive high-fives from her teammates.
"Now for the Final Round: the Kurogane siblings!" Blader DJ shouted, making everyone confused. "Kurogane siblings?" Shinobu said curiously. "There's only you..." He trailed off once he got a good look at the other blader.
"Is she..." Zero trailed off once the black banged girl walked on her platform, he hurried onto his. It was then that they both got a good look at each other. "Brother..." She said as she started to tear up. "Zuri..." He said quietly.
3! They got their beys in their launchers.
2! They readied their launchers.

"LET IT RIP!" They launched their beys and the two instantly attacked each other. "Go Ifraid!" Zero shouted as Ifraid moved away from the silver, red-orange, and black bey. "Ifraid!" Zuri shouted as her bey charged after Ifraid.
"They have the same beys!" Maru shouted as she looked at the data. "Shadow Ifraid was created from Samurai Ifraid, making it Ifraid's copy!" The two Ifraids attacked each other until they gained distance from each other.
"Ifraid! Burning Upper!" Zero shouted as he was surrounded by a fiery aura. His Ifraid covered itself in fire and circled the other. "Ifraid! Shadow Upper!" Zuri shouted as she was surrounded by a dark fiery aura. Her Ifraid covered itself in a dark fire and circled the other two until the two made contact and dust exploded everywhere.
As it cleared Zuri instantly laughed. Zero was covered in soot but he laughed too as Zuri was in the same situation as him. The beys still spun but made themselves fall over from the pent-up explosion of emotion.
"It's a tie and those two seem to be having fun laughing at each other's appearance!" Blader DJ shouted making everyone, including both teams, clap energetically. After they stopped laughing, and took in their own appearance, they retrieved their beys and got off the platforms.
Later...
Once they got cleaned they all went to Bull's Burger to eat. "So what happened to you?" Zero asked, which he instantly regretted when Zuri looked upset. "When Mom and Dad left for their business trip two years ago(this is a year after the fall of DNA) I went to the forest to train Ifraid, just after an hour of training I heard something blow up and ran to the site.
"It was our house...It was charred and almost gone, the floor was covered in rubble and one wall stood with the shelf attached to it. The photo on it that survived was our family picture from when we were six.
"I thought you were dead since I didn't see you! Then this woman came out of nowhere and said that she could help me know who did it. After I grabbed her hand she transferred some kind of energy into me, and I left our town not looking back."
"Then she met me," Darkia said after a few seconds. "My twin brother was corrupted by Doji so I wanted to destroy DNA so I could get my brother back, then we met Miyako who almost lost her brother and mother, then we met Storm who was separated from his parents."
When they looked at the other two they instantly looked mildly shocked and surprised because Storm was giving Kite a noogie and Eight was trying to get him to stop. Zuri laughed and Kite stared at her.
She did have a cute laugh and he didn't notice Storm stop until he laughed. "You like Zuri!" He said, the others were talking to each other so they weren't paying attention. "No I don't!" Kite argued.
"Don't deny it!" Storm argued back. They kept yelling at each other with only Benkei noticing. None of them noticed a dark bluish-gray haired girl with red eyes wearing a dark gray coat over a black shirt and pants, and very dark purple boots and a cloth belt over the coat watching them while smiling contently.
'She found him,' She thought before she frowned. 'But will he like her new form when she shows him?' That was something neither her nor Team Shadow thought of, they were inseparable when they were younger but what about now?
