Katara Woke in a cold sweat. She had a Nightmare. She had been having one every night about her parents leaving.
"What's wrong," said a familiar voice. It was Aang.
"Nothing," said Katara
"It's not nothing you've been having nightmares every night now. Tell me what's wrong"
"I said nothing now go to bed!"
He reluctantly closed his eyes. When she thought he was asleep. She went out of bed and heads to the lake. She looked at her reflection.
"Why, why, why, why?" she muttered.
She hears a noise. She instantly whirled her head around and saw Aang.
"What are you doing here?"
"Came to see if you were okay"
"I'm fine go back to bed."
"Not until you tell me what's wrong."
Instead of answering she said, "Would you ever leave me. Would you or Sokka ever leave me without saying goodbye?"
"Of course not," Aang replied.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"But Katara this doesn't have much to do with me or Sokka does it?"
Katara instantly started to sob.
"Why did they leave me? My dad didn't even say goodbye just left! And my mom……….I should have taken her place. I'm the water bender.
"Don't say that you should be happy you're alive"
"I am but she…….."
She kept crying.
Aang hugged her.
"She always told me that when she passed away to always look at the brightest star and she would be there. Is that really true?"
"Of course," said Aang unsurely.
"I have something to show you," he said.
Before she could refuse he took out his glider and flew her to the top of a mountain where there was a great view of the stars.
"It's beautiful," she said, "Did you know tomorrows my 16th birthday.
"I didn't forget," he said grinning.
