Chapter 2

Logans past

A/N you know what? Ima use the thing I got from Boston Anonymous their stories are awesome anyway here goes. Previously on Love, Magic and Power, Logan found the one responsible for his parents murder but lost her in the process, now he's heading back to the palm woods for a night with his friends, or something more. Hope I did well on that. Enjoy.

Logan was almost back to the palm woods when his phone rang again. Kendall. "seriously again?" Logan thought.

"Hello again Kendall."

"Logan are you almost back?"

"Yeah I'm in the car park I'll be up in two minutes, why did you call again I told you I'd be back in 9 minutes."

"I know but, I just worry about you is all." Logans heart stopped for a moment, then he continued.

"Okay I'll see you soon."

"Alright Logie, bye."

"Cya." He ended the call.

"He cares about me." Logan mumbled to himself.

"Well of course he does." Praesidio came out of nowhere. Logan jumped at his sudden appearance.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Said Logan with a questioning look. Praesidio just smiled and said,

"Exactly what it's supposed to mean Logan, he's your friend and he cares about you."

"Mmhmmm"

"But we both know that you want to be more than just friends" Praesidio's grin grew across his face and Logans face went bright red.

"Shut up Praesidio, don't you have other places to be?"

"Not until 4." Logan was confused again

"I was kidding, besides Kendall may surprise you"

"What do you know Praesidio?"

"You'll have to find that out for yourself" His grin stayed on his face as he melted into the shadows once again.

"You know for a guardian your pretty dark Praesidio." Silence, except for the traffic in the distance. Logan laughed, shook his head and continued walking up to apartment 2J.

"J… Just, like, Jo."

He got his card out, swiped it and walked in. He saw Kendall arguing with James and Carlos.

"No, just give him a few more minutes he'll-"

"Walk right in the door as I just did?"

They all turned their attention towards the door and saw Logan standing there smiling. Kendall was the first to say something.

"See, I hate to say it but, oh wait I love to say it. I fucking told you so." James and Carlos just frowned as Kendall ran over to Logan, grabbed him by the shoulders and started pushing him towards the orange couch.

"Well hello to you too Kendall."

"Hey Logan, so are you ready?"

"Ready for what? Dare I ask." Kendall shoved him down on the couch ran over to the T.V and came back with a DVD case. Some sort of creepy looking chick covered in vines so only her face was showing was on the front. Big red letters were written across the top.

"Swamp Devil?" Logan made a face.

"Uh-huh. So you up for it?"

"I don't know, I'm kinda tired after facing 3 dem-" He stopped in mid sentence as they all looked at him with their eyebrows raised.

"I um, uh, I mean I'm tired after that walk so ill just watch a bit then go to bed."

"Uhhh okay." Kendall still had an eyebrow raised but lowered it when James spoke up.

"Are we gonna watch this movie or what?" Logan was snapped out his trance with the green eyed blonde.

"Sure, whack it in and lets go." Kendall smiled, put the movie in and sat next to Logan. After 30 minutes when all the crazy crap started Logan got up.

"Well I've had enough, Ima go to bed, goodnight everyone." Carlos and James said goodnight at the same time then turned back to the screen, totally into the movie.

"Are you sure you don't want to watch it for a bit longer, the good bits are just starting."

"Nah its fine, like I said I'm tired."

"Oh okay, we'll see you in the morning." Kendall looked kind of sad for lack of a better word.

Logan walked into his and Kendall's shared bedroom and lied down on his bed. 5 minutes later, Kendall knocked on the door and walked in.

"Hey Logie, you okay, you seemed kind of upset earlier."

"Hey Kendall, yeah I'm fine as I said just tired is all."

"You've said that three times now."

"I know but it's the truth." Kendall stared at Logan for a bit.

"What is there something on my face?"

"You're a terrible liar you know that?"

"I- I- I'm not lying."

"You just did it again after I told you that you can't lie, Logan I'm your best friend you know you can tell me anything right?"

"Yea I know and I really want to but… I can't, I'm really sorry Kendall."

"Well can you at least tell me why?" A moments silence.

"No I'm sorry."

"Oh come on Logan I'm your best friend does that mean nothing to you?"

"Kendall it means everything to me."

"Then why can't you tell me what's going on with you?"

"I just can't Kendall."

"Why not!"

"For your own protection!" There was the biggest the awkward silence as soon as those words left Logans mouth.

"What the fuck does that mean?"

"Look Kendall I would love to tell you but once again-"

"You can't because you have to protect me?"

"Yes Kendall exactly"

"That doesn't make any sense" Kendall was pretty much screaming by this point. Logan sighed.

"Do you really want to know what's up with me?"

"Yes for fucks sake, I thought that was established before" Logan let out another sigh. There was more silence before Logan started talking again.

"Close the door." Kendall did as he was instructed.

"Lock it I don't want anyone intruding on what I have to say to you." Kendall looked confused for a moment but did so.

"Okay, here goes. Why do I get the feeling you not going to take this well?"

"Try me, it can't be that bad."

"Okay… Kendall….. I'm a mage"

A/N DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUNNN oh man I love cliffhangers, Ch3 is on its way and I hope you enjoyed this one. Next time on Love, Magic and Power Logan has just told Kendall he's biggest secret that he's been hiding for years, he's a mage, how will Kendall react, well, bad? Well you'll have to wait to find out. ;)
