Era's view

There was a female entity sitting right next to the fire, on the opposite side of the cave.

And she transformed from a fox to a… human… fox… thing. I stared at her and she stared right back. I need to process everything that happened so far: I flew out of the wormhole, hit my head on the ground and somehow on impact created a crater. I heard giggling, but there was nothing. That same entity had been following me. I have a destination: the league of legends. Next thing I know is that it is night and I find a cave, leave it briefly, and when I get back she is here. That roughly sums it up so now, I need to know if it speaks English.

"Um… hi?" I said almost as a question.

How do I speak to her!? She may not even know English.

"Hello." She said.

Okay, so she speaks English, that is good.

"Were you the fox that was following me before becoming… human?" I asked.

"Well, I'm not quite human, but yes." She said.

"Are you a ghost?" I asked, "And why am I the only one asking questions?"

"I am not a ghost, and I do not know why you are the only one asking questions." She said.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is your name?" I asked.

"I do believe it is Ahri." Ahri said.

"Wait wha? That is probably the least sure I have ever heard anyone ever be about their own name." I said. "Sorry if it seems rude, but do you have amnesia or something?" I asked.

"No, it's just a long story. Who are you anyway? You're easily not of this world." Ahri said.

"I'm Era… Era Eclipse. It would be better to say that I'm not even of this reality." I said.

"Explain." Ahri demanded.

"Long story short, I came from another world where I had my industry build a device to allow people to travel to other universes. I wanted to see what other realities would be like." I said.

"Oh, so that's why you flew out of the portal." Ahri said. "It was very funny when you hit your head on the ground. I was wondering what would next happen."

"Wait you saw me in my hybrid form?" I asked, a little concerned.

"Is that bad?" Ahri asked.

"No, I would just kinda figured you would have run in terror or something." I said.

"Are you calling me a coward?" Ahri asked, a little offended I think.

"No, that's actually the standard response back in my universe because I have a… checked past." I said.

"Oh. What are you and what do you mean be checked past?" Ahri asked.

"I'm a hybrid. A human and a Pokémon, and by checked past I mean, apocalyptic psychopath checked past, ten trillion humans dead due to me past." I said. "I'm not proud of that."

"Well… that's… pleasant. Why would you do that anyway?" Ahri asked.

"I was forced to. There are two seals that have an effect on me: one, controls me, one when broken, allows me to access my full power. It is partially broken. The first was destroyed, stopping Arceus from controlling me." I said.

"Arceus is who?" Ahri asked.

"The god of my universe who I have defeated before." I said.

"How old are you?" Ahri asked.

"In my reality, 13 billion. In this reality, 25… for some weird… inexplicable… reason." I said.

"What would my age be since I am 25?" Ahri asked.

"Same as me." I said.

"Would I keep how I look or would I look like a grandma?" Ahri asked.

"You'd keep how you look, but only last however many years you'd last here." I said. "What are you any way, you're not human or fox…"

"Oh, I'm a vastaya."

"A what now?"

"Half fox half human."

"Oh, intriguing."

We were in silence again, and it felt nice, weird too, bearing in mind we barely know each other at all.

"Where are you going? I asked.

"The league of legends. Where are you going?" Ahri asked.

"Same place. It sounds like somewhere that I'd like. Besides, I'm immortal so time is mine to burn." I said.

"Sounds…fun." Ahri said.

"I'm gonna snooze now. May sleep for an hour but my week of being is up." I said before starting to fall asleep.

As I started to fall asleep, I felt something trying to make my dreams change. Is someone toying with me? I ignored it and let the dream continue, but I could have sworn that something… someone was trying to get life energy from me. What if Ahri is in danger? I woke up and looked around to see Ahri holding a life essence orb.

"Umm… morning?" I said curiously.

"You're not dead?" Ahri asked.

"I don't have life essence. It is due to being my own creator. Why were you trying to kill me?" I asked.

"I wanted your essence, ever since consuming the hunter's essence I have a hunger for it." Ahri said.

"Please elaborate on that." I said.

"Shall I tell my life story?" Ahri asked.

"Well, it must be tragic. Before you ask, you're talking to the deadliest entity in the multiverse and you're effectively alone." I said.

"Pleasant analysis. Anyway, I was born in Ionia and abandoned there. I was then found by a fox pack who eventually adopted me. I had then learnt how to harness magic. I can make orbs that drain life essence, spirit fires, charms and a spirit rush. I used it to kill deer with ease. Eventually I saw a group of soldiers, a hunter was with them. Their actions seemed strange to me. The hunter seemed a bit odd, using all parts of what he killed like us foxes. He then was shot one day so I chose to give him a pleasant dream to gaze upon while he died. I devoured his essence too, causing me to soon devour many human essences. I then soon heard tell of a demonic fox human monster." Ahri said.

"And it was you so I am guessing you tried to do something to stop it." I said.

"Yep. I tried to reduce how much essence I stole to an amount not capable of killing but through hunger I killed an entire costal village. It drove me into hiding. Years later I finally gained self-control, taking small amounts of essence and I figured I'd take some tonight from you." Ahri said.

Ahri's view

There was a silence between us. I was waiting to hear Era's reaction and the most ludicrous thing happened, he burst out laughing like a scot's man.

No offense to any scot's men.

"Ha ha ha ha ha! That's one of the most impressive stories I've ever heard. I'm writing a biography of myself, I'm on volume 239. Anyway, my editor says that it doesn't matter if something bad happens because if the story is good, who cares? Anyway, I get what he means now. It's very dark though, and that's coming from me! Then again, that's the media for you." Era shouted happily.

No offense to anyone who has had anything bad befall them.

"You don't care that I killed an entire village?" I asked, shocked.

"I killed 10 trillion people over all, 1 billion in an hour. No offense, but that has nothing over me." Era said.

"None taken. Hey, are we friends, now?" I asked.

"I think we are friends." Era said happily.

"Are you like Arceus?" I asked.

"Immortal? Yes. Look like a goat? No." Era said.

"Oh." Ahri said. "Why does Arceus look like a goat?"

"I don't know." Era said.

"Since friends share secrets, do you have any?" I asked.

"No. you?" Era asked.

"I'll tell you when I have one." I said. "Hey Era, I'd like to know, what is up with that necklace you wear?"

"This necklace has a picture of my family and friends, an orb of zodite, and a clock. The clock actually is a remnant of a weapon I accidently made. The moon light pocket watch. It is basically a planet destroyer." Era said.

"How did you accidently make a killer pocket watch?" I asked.

"I went for a year with our sleep. Please don't get on my case about it." Era said.

"Well, okay." I said.

"Thank you. Most people won't stop asking me questions until I charge up a multi blast attack." Era said.

"They sound annoying." I said.

"Humans are horribly annoying." Era said. "A common trait they all share. Thankfully we are not like them."

"You make it sound like it is bad to be human." I said.

"It is. I saw life through a human's eyes once. Very very boring indeed." Era said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yep. I do not recommend it." Era said.

"Okay." I said. "Era, why did you leave your reality?"

"I wanted to see what else was out there. Explore the universe. Besides, I wanted to have fun so I came to this reality. Also it was the first branch stemming from the tunnel. I only wish I was slightly closer to civilization." Era said.

"One last question now, why did you throw that dangerous, blue orb at me earlier?" I asked.

"What would you do if you realise you are being stalked by a giggling maniac, who you can't see, add on the fact that you are on a planet that you know nothing about?" Era asked, almost making it sound like a common, everyday thing.

"Okay, fair point. I guess I would do the same." I said.

"I'm gonna catch few z's. see in you an hour I guess. Unless you sleep for longer than an hour in which case I'll get prepared for tomorrow." Era said.

"Goodnight Era." I said.

"Night Ahri." Era said.

He quickly fell asleep, and then I felt sleep take over me.

Sorry this took me so long, I have been a little busy. I also would like to hear any suggestions you may have to make the story better.

"Yeah, please help the author make the story improve."

Era shut it.

"Make me."

Era… you and I are the same entity. Only difference is that your made of my hopes and dreams so shut up.

""

Thank you.

Please review to shut up the annoying hybrid.
