The next day, though he had other patients to attend, he could not help but think about her all day. He did not even pay attention to the guy who continuously rambled the majority of the time about what happened today. If they did not believe he talked that much, he had started before Sasuke opened the door to him. Finally, the man noticed Sasuke's lack of attention, and a expression that he was concern about something.

This man had a history of feeling ignored all the time, even as a kid. It was not that his parents were abusive but they neglected his attention, forcing him to act out and misbehave. Causing a serious problem when he turned 21, got into a bar fight and almost killed someone. Sasuke had to patiently explain many times that people are drunk do not listen to anything much but the sound of their own voice.

Though Sasuke must admit the man made some progress because he asked, "are you ok?"

This brought Sasuke back into reality and realized what happened, he was mentally cursing himself out at the thought of having to start over again form the beginning with this man. "...Yes, I am fine... I was just thinking", he truthfully told the male.

He asked Sasuke something unusual, "do you wanna talk about it?", Sasuke was a taken back at the question. "You have been-um- listening to me for almost the past year- I guess- so I thought It was only right to-ask... if your do not want to.",

Sasuke gave his half genuine smile and replied, "It's about another patient which I am worried about, that's all".

"Boy or girl?"

"Girl," the man smiled sitting up.

"Is she cute? Do you like her?"

Sasuke blushed a bit before narrowing his eyes and saying,"I have to remind you most of my patients are only that. I could get into serious trouble for a relationship with my clients."

"I did not ask if you are dating her just if you liked her", damn, for a doctor he made a stupid mistake. The more he thought about he could say that he liked her, she was definitely interesting despite the fact she did not say much of anything yesterday. Her voice was soft and gentle, her appearance was definitely appealing, dressed appropriately, a little quiet and awkward when trying to get information out of her but he bet she could make due with good conversation if she was not so troubled. She seemed mature and strong which he admired that in a woman; he would not say that out loud, many new him as 'hard to get' simply because he was not interested in a relationship.

He really wanted to slap himself for continuing to think of such absurd imagery of a underage female. If that ever got lose, he might be considered a sugerdaddy and arrested for a non-existent rape. His career would be ruined and not only would he not able to help her but many others would suffer through life. He needed to get his head out of the shallow gutter.

A nock on the door told them that was his next patient, but something told his patient it was her, because his patient's smile widen even more and he responded with, "I'll leave for today, good luck." "I'm not-", he had already made his way out the door, and open it for Hinata like a gentleman. He was definitely opening up to the idea of not being noticed all the time. He did not even glare when Hinata walked past him without saying thanks.

He noticed that she still wore the same outfit from yesterday. Does not she have anything else? He wrote notes to remind himself, to keep tabs on her wardrobe; not that he was a pervert or something. This would probably be the school's concern about hygienic issues. It was not good enough to be support; wearing the same outfit everyday does not necessarily mean abuse, it could also mean they have a attitude and low respect for themselves, not caring what people think. However, he was pretty sure she did not have that personality.

It went silent between the both of them when he left. She sat down quietly not wanting to say a word, but he was not going to let that happen. He was going to have her talk starting today, he allowed her to get comfortable yesterday but he needed progress. How would he break the tension...she was very interested in the conversation of Uzumaki.

He might as well give it a shot, staking a random set of papers, pretending he knew what he was doing he said, "you remember that I am friends with Dr. Uzumaki, right?"

It worked, she directed her gaze away from the blank wall to him. Staring at him for a while before responding, "...oh right!...How did you meet?", he really did not want to talk about his idiot 'friend', he did not understand why she was more interested in talking about him. Guess that was another reason he brought him up, see why she wanted to talk to him.

Truthfully, they met at a strip club, actually he met Naruto trying to get into a strip club. He got beaten up and thrown out; the guy was drunk and thought that was his house. Sasuke drove him home, and they been friends since then, which is about two years total. But, he was not gonna tell her he met Naruto being thrown out of a strip club, and since then they were the somewhat friends, so...he lied.

"He saved me... a long time ago", he paused in between unsure to whether to mention if it was a long time ago.

Her eyes widen in disbelief and gasped; that sure got her interested, "what happened?" Shoot, he did not think she had the courage to ask.

So much for a white lie, think something believable, "we were taking a trip to Africa, our car...died and I was attacked... by a lion, Naruto ended up having to prevent me from bleeding to death, helped arrived in time and I was taken care of."

That was far from believable, no way in hell would she-, "that's amazing", he stood corrected.

He gave her a handsome smile, and he was repaid with a a small smile of her own. "He is so brave", she did not notice him frown. Right, he forgot that she would be interested in him. How much though?

"Tell me...", he got her full attention, "do you like him? Or admire him?"

Her face became red as a tomato, she looked cute like that, even when she started to choke on her saliva a bit, "w-what!? I- um, h-he is nice and you described him s-so brave." She was stuttering and speaking poorly, she did not even notice how opened she became with him on that one topic. Her personality started off normal, then quiet and now extremely shy; maybe it was his friend that was making her shy.

He changed topic, "what's your favorite color?"

"Um, blue", she accepted the change of topic.

" Type of music you like?"

"Classical."

"Favorite food?"

"Um, Dr. Sasuke how is this helping?"

"Food?"

"Spaghetti." He asked her numerous questions, little by little to get her to keep talking, distracting her from everything else. That and he wanted to know about her, a small blush crept on his face as she gave him a small laugh. There was definitely hope for her. Maybe for both of them.

Soon the lesson was over for today to both of their disappointments. She became withdrawn the moment she realized, and quietly thanked him. They shook hands and she left him alone in his office. He noticed a letter on his desk, from Hinata's school; probably her grades. How bad were they? She seems very intelligent compared to most students he had talked to before. Grades were as followed.

AP Anatomy and physiology- A

AP English VI- A

Pre-calculus Honors- A

Law studies- A

AP Drama- A

Computers Business Skills- A

Spanish- A

P.E- A

That could not be right. It was no way similar to the report of her grades falling behind. It would be hard to achieve good grades, much less straight A's, if they are mentally or emotionally scared. There was no date of these transcripts so for all he knew they could be from the year before. He would have to send a letter back to the school re-asking for another set of her grades. Still, the classes she took were pretty advanced and getting straight A's just ensured a better future for Hinata.

He had the nurse bring him the number to her father's cell. Something seemed a bit suspicious about this set up, especially since he had received no information from her parents. No one had contacted him, besides the school, worried about her condition. Did her father even know she was receiving help? A few options; he does and does not care, does not because he does not care, or he was the problem itself.

He finally got connected.

"Hello? May I help you?," a male's voice first responded.

"Hello. My name is Dr. Uchiha, a psychologist of the developmental clinic and I-," Sasuke was interrupted.

"I am fully aware of my daughter's problem," he stated coldly.

"I would say problem sir-," again he was interrupted. It was pissing him off a bit.

"Dr. Uchiha I have better things to be working on that to meddle in my daughter's exaggerating need for attention," Sasuke clenched his teeth and fist in anger.

"You do know she has suicide cuts right?"

"What she does with her body is her own business. Is that all you need to tell me?"

"Maybe they are not suicide," he made a stupid and daring move. The patterns were obviously suicide, but it did not mean he was not wrong. Mr. Hyuga' voice got dangerously low.

"What are you exactly implying Dr. Uchiha," Sasuke wanted to meet him in person at that moment, just to give him a good punch.

"Nothing Mr. Hyuga. Goodbye," Sasuke was too angry to hear the small sighed in the background of his found.

He did not hear Mr. Hyuga wearily say, "Goodbye Dr. Uchiha," he was too busy slamming the phone down. The ungrateful bastard, treating his daughter like that, Sasuke would bet his house and car that he had something to do with her change. He was not going to label her sick or mentally ill. He knew for sure that she was normal and he was going to prove it. Maybe at the same time throw at asshole in jail for negligence.

The phone rang once again, and Sasuke answered, unfortunately it was Naruto. "Hey buddy what is up."

"Why are you calling me during my work hours."

"You are always working," Naruto replied.

"My point exactly," he smiled in self satisfactory.

"I also guess you are not the ones sending me these flowers right?," Naruto placed a bouquet of roses on his kitchen counter. "Otherwise I say I would have to reject your offer."

"You are an idiot, you know that right," Sasuke's eyes narrowed.

"I am a doctor. How can I be an idiot," Naruto said angrily.

"You do not want me to answer that. Is there a reason you called me; hopefully it is not about your secret admirer."

"I wanted to know if you would like to do a charity event this weekend. I am already signed up for participation. I thought you might like to come, it is considered work."

"Last time I attened meaningful event with you the souls of my shoe burned out," I sat down annoyed.

"I thought you were a workaholic?"

"I enjoy work, I do not work like runners in a marathon."

"It was not that bad."

"My shoes are still melting," Sasuke paused for a moment, deep in thought before continuing, "do you know a Hinata Hyuga."

"No, should I?," his idiot of a friend said. Sasuke simply shook his head, he should have known that Naruto would not know her. He at least tried.

"No...it is nothing...I have to go. Talk to you later...damn," he said, realizing he said later. He could hear his friend laugh on the phone.

"I knew you cared for m-," Sasuke hung on him.

Naruto sighed when the phone disconnected between them. Sasuke did care, he was just being an asshole about it. Naruto returned his attention to the bouquet of roses on his newly added and expensive counter. He definitely made a good choice in becoming a doctor. Maybe that was were the flowers came from, his patients. He ran his fingers through his blonde hair, unsure of what to do at that moment. He was a bit tired, but did not want to sleep just yet; maybe a bit of some exercise in his gym room. He spent a couple hours on the treadmill and spent the rest of the day watching some TV. He was going to have to get up early in the morning for work, so he could stay up too late.

The house alarm went off and he was thrown off the couch in surprised. He jumped up quickly pulling out a handheld gun from his living room drawer. He never used a gun before since his security always scared off the crooks, but he never took a chance. He checked all the doors and windows, starting from back to the front door. He stared out in the darkness of the rich streets, his gun pointed at the ready, but his eye was distracted by something red on the flower. He lower his gun slightly, and picked up another bouquet of roses, before sighing.

"I wish you would send them at a normal time," he turned around and closed the door behind him. The weekend was also coming soon so he could not let anything stress him out if he was going to help with the charity event with Father Simon Dale at his church. With that he left the sixth gift on another counter and went straight to bed.

Sasuke throws himself out of bed, and onto the floor, tangled in bedsheets. He sweats and tries not to cry. Only to regain control and ended up taking a long shower. A long long shower, to the point it got freezing cold. For sure he thought he had gotten over his nightmare, but it was back, that was not a good sign. Spending so much time with the patients and their problems had made him reminisced his own past. He knew it would sooner or later come, but this was probably the worst time. There was no way he could counsel Hinata in this condition. He would have to cancel for today but... damn she is still under age, that meant she was living those reached pieces of trash she calls her parents. Also where was the mother too? Did Hinata have a mother? If so, how does she treat her? Hopefully not the same as her father.

Another day of work as he waited for her to come in his office. He sat there diligently waiting, but after almost twenty minutes had passed, he lost his composure and slouched back in his chair, rocking back and forth. Another ten minutes had passed before he got up and left his office to search for Ms. Yamanaka. After a minute of searching he spotted her coming out of one of the rooms for the hospital portion of the building.

"Hello Dr. Uchiha," she placed her hands behind her back, in a flirtatious manner.

"I have an appointment with Ms. Hinata," he said, "have you seen her?" Sasuke did not notice that she seemed less enthusiastic than a few seconds ago.

"No, I do not think so. Do you want me to call the school?"

"If you would, I would very much appreciate it," he watched her pick up the desk phone and dialed the number. A brief moment passed until, she started to speak.

"Hello this is Ms. Yamanaka from the developmental clinic. We wanted to know if Ms. Hinata Park is in school today... thank you...," she hung up and sighed. "She actually has not been in school for a whole week."

"What? How is that possible I received their letter a few days ago, which means that she should have been recently there for them to notice right?"

She picked up the phone again ready to redial,"want me to call again," he stopped her by placing his hand on her own and lowering it down. Her face began to slightly turn red.

"No, that is fine. They will start cause more of a problem," he sighed, not noticing that Ino was embarrassed. "Call Mr. Hyuga please," he continued and she dialed the numbers.

"Hello. May I help you?" Mr. Hyuga responded.

"Yes, this is Dr. Uchiha. I am curious to know on why your daughter was not at school for the past week. Not to mention she missed our appointment today."

"How should I know. I do not keep track of that stupid girl," Sasuke's grip tightened on the phone; the bastard. He was sure the father was the problem; if only he could get her to confess. "I suggest that you stop calling me. Unlike you I am a very busy man Dr. Uchiha. I am not responsible for what she does." He hung up.

"Can we get a child protective service investigation for Hinata Hyuga," he turned to Ms. Yamanaka.

"I was told that they already have. I just got an email this morning actually saying that there was no sign of abuse or mistreatment. Also the child protection service had refused my call; simply because she would not admit it."

"What? Why was I not aware of this process? Am I not her doctor?," his voice began to rise a bit as he turned to head toward his office. Ino followed.

"I did not know there was an investigation either; however, it sounds like nothing was wrong. What did Mr. Hyuga have to say?", she walked and stopped in front of him, blocking his way from his office.

"He obviously does not give a shit about her. I need you to get me the number for Detective Dean... something is not right. I can feel it," she simply nodded and left. "I swear if I-," he turned around and jumped in surprise, seeing Hinata in his office; she looked tired and down. She was wearing the same outfit again, and she looked paler than usual. She gave him a light smile, which did not make him feel any better; it was fake. You could not fool someone with a master's degree.

Ino noticed that Hinata is office and sighed happily with relief. She was glad the young girl was safe. Ino turned her direction towards Sasuke and stared at him. The more she should from him to Hinata the more she noticed the different facial expressions he gave Hinata versus herself. Every smile Sasuke gave Ino was not as genuine as the ones he gave Hinata, but did it mean anything? She had worked with him for more than three years and he only spent less than a week with this girl. So than why did it seem as if he cared for Hinata more than her?

"I was worried about you," he said sincerely. "You do not look so well, are you ok?," Sasuke made a slight frown when she just nodded her head. "Lets sit inside...oh, Ino did you call Dean," he asked bringing her back to reality and forcing her to rethink what he just said.

"He was not home so I left a message," she said brightly, waving to Hinata, who also waved slightly back. Sasuke smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder; her heart began to beat faster.

"Thank you, you should take the day off," and without another word he closed the door, leaving her to stand there also smiling, before walking off.

She stopped after a couple feet away from the door. Should she listen in? It was not her job to play shrink, she was a nurse, who also happened to like Dr. Uchiha; he was smart, calm, polite, and attractive. She wished she knew what he liked in a woman, she would be anything for him. Though the Hinata may be young Ino felt as if Hinata was something that Dr. Uchiha liked, and if she listened in on the conversation maybe she can pinpoint what he liked about the girl. Ino could use it to get his full attention. This idea was enough for her to turn around and listen in.

Sasuke was still not sure why he was so interested in this girl, especially when he should not be. It was wrong, the idea of liking a girl who was in obvious need of help was inexcusable. He hardly knew this girl yet, she was different. He did not know how she was different but she was. She was the type to make a difference in the world, and he did not need to be a doctor to know that; he could tell easily. He watched her slouched in the soft couch and folded her arms for security, eyes directed to the floor and a sad smile slowly disappearing to a simply frown. He spotted a bruise on her leg and made a mental note of it; it was not there before as far as he knew.

His eyes narrowed when her own made contact with his gaze and he said in a stern voice, "where were you, you are late." She just made a sad smile, not bothering to lift up her chin from her chest.

"I am sorry I was with...a friend."

"Why did not you tell me you were going to be late?"

"My father took my phone," that bastard he knew he was behind this. The stupid child protective service.

"Why did not you stop by to let us know?"

"...I forgot...," she replied sadly, a few tears slipping out. It pained him to see her cry; seeing his patients cry was bothering but with her...he felt as if he could not breathe. His lungs expanding in and out slowly as he tried to continue his conversation.

"Did you also forget to go to school?," a few moments past, and she did not move in response. He stared waiting for some kind of mannerism.

"...no..."

"You missed a week of school, that is going to effect your grades, you know that right?" He knew it was not her fault, but she should not let anything effect her education for a better future.

"I was with... a friend...," what kind of friend would help her miss school. He saw that she bit her lip slightly and convinced herself not to rub the bruise on her leg. Did her friend cause the bruise? Or her father? What about her mother? It was beginning to be more obvious that she was in danger, and it seemed as if no one was doing a god damn thing about it besides himself.

"What is her name," he asked but no response, "well?"

"Sakura...Haruno..."

"What is she like?," he asked, forcing a fake smile. Her whole unlucky situation irritated him to no end. A asshole father, negligent mother, and a lousy role model of a friend.

"...I do not want to talk about it...," she quietly said, but he could still hear her.

"Why not? I just want to know,"he tried to press on; nevertheless, he did not expect her to burst out in a yell.

"I said I do not want to talk about it," she stood up and he nearly fell back in his chair. Tears streamed from her eyes and her face glowed with anger, before stomping out of the room. Ino quickly hide around the corner to not be seen and luckily was successful. She peered over to see Sasuke shaking his head before returning back to his office.

Ino still did not understand what he liked about Hinata, she seem too moody to be Dr. Uchiha's type. Ino was smart, mature, and a lot closer to his age than that girl would ever be. She needed a place to think and get her head straight. She was not sure on how to approach this, and decided to take her car and drive.

She did not have a particular place to drive to but as she drove past the church, she hesitated a couple blocks past it before turning around. She felt drawn to it for a reason; she was not sure why though. She parked her car and went inside the church, where she noticed there was really only a few people praying at the moment. The interior design was actually a lot more pretty than she had imagined. She had never been to church since she was busy working a second job but she kind of regretted it; the place had a unique atmosphere that gave her a small bit of hope, one that she really needed at the moment. There was no music playing, but she did not need to hear it because the feeling was already like music to her ears.

She sat down in the bench all the way at the back, kneeling down to pray. Dear Lord, I have never been one to frequently go to church always, and I am really sorry if I seem as if I am just only hear for you to do me things. I heard that was not the way it worked; however, if you can listen to me...hear me out about this guy who I really like for the past couple of years I would much appreciate it. I do not know what to do, maybe if you send me some help or a sign I would be grateful.

She knew she was not going to get any response from him, but it was at least worth a shot considering she never went to church before. She had left her family when she turned eighteen and roomed with a friend until she could afford her own apartment, which forced her to work two jobs to pay for everything. She did not even know what belief her parents practice, for all she knew they could be atheist like Dr. Uchiha.

"Hello child, are you alright," she heard a voice from behind say. She looked up to see a man, maybe around his 30's, wearing a black priest outfit. She looked around to see that the church was empty; how long was she there for?

"Oh, umm...," she was not sure on how to reply.

"You have been kneeling there for a while. I had come to check to see if you were alright. I can see that you are sad but it's up to you if you want to talk about it."

"Do not you need to be in a box to talk to me?," she wiped her face to ensure that she was not crying or anything.

"Are you here for a confession," he smiled. She shook her head no, "Then there is no need for me to be there. Now tell me, what is wrong child," he sat next to her.

When he did she notice that despite being reasonably young his hear was usually white. Were priest allowed to dye their hair? She would hate to have that color hair, it would only make her look old.

"I liked this man for a long time now, and he never seemed to notice me besides an assistant, but there is this young female that he only meet for less than a week and he seems almost infatuated with her. I do not know if he likes her or really cares for her, but I ca not seem to express my feeling around him when she is there. I do not want to confront him because I am afraid of rejection."

"There is more is there not?"

"Yes, I do not know why there is something wrong with the whole situation. Not just me being jealous, but something I ca not put my finger on," the priest lifted an eyebrow confused before smiling in understanding.

"But rebels and sinners shall be broken together, and those who forsake the LORD shall be consumed," he muttered quietly to himself. However, she did hear quite a bit.

"I am sorry. I did not quite catch that father. Could you please repeat it?"

"Hm? What child?," he smiled and she smiled back sadly.

"I said I could not quite catch what you just said earlier. Could you repeat it?"

"I see what the problem is," he stood up as her head shot up. Her heart began to race in joy, as her sad expression turned into a positive one.

"You do?"

"Yes, but if you really want to know then come with me," his eyes narrowed. "But be warned, there is no turning back once you know." Her eyes widen is shock from the priest change of character. What did that have to do with anything about her love life; no turning back? Who says that. It was a bit creepy for a priest to say that, but it also mad her curious. Deep down inside it felt like she should hear him out, but...no turning back is what scared her. Turn back from what? She stood up and face the priest, who held out his hand, smiling back at her. She took his hand.

"Dr. Uchiha?," the voice replied on the other line.

"Yes it is, is this Detective Dean?," Sasuke sat down and opened his laptop on his desk.

"Yes, I did some digging around and it seems as if the mother died in a car accident along with her younger daughter, Lisa. The father, Mr. Hyuga, is C.E.O of a recycling company, which makes his family extremely wealthy," one thing is for sure, money does not buy happiness.

"What about the abuse?"

"I was not mentioned about an abuse, but to my knowledge I did not see anything. It does not mean that it does not exist I just did not see anything."

"What about a girl named Sakura Haruno?"

"I looked her up and she used to live in Florida before moving to Seattle. I hear from the other students that she is bit of...a controlling person."

"You mean a bully right?"

"I am only repeating what I hear, but pretty much yes. They do not use that word just to avoid trouble. She did not look mean, more like bored, and the others seem to avoid her like the plague."

"Thank you, that is all I need."

"Do you want me to keep searching?"

"No I am fine."

"Do you mind if I still search anyway? I am a bit interested in this."

He thought about it for a moment, "...alright, and if you do find something let me know."

"Can do," he hung up on Sasuke. When Sasuke opened the door to his house, the whole place was trashed. Someone had been in there; nothing was stolen or broken but whatever they were looking for he was not sure if they found it. It really made him mad still. Everything in his home was messy and out of place, it would take him the rest of the night to straighten up, which he ended up doing.

One by one he picked up the items and put them back to where they belong until he was satisfied. He did not make a call to the police, because he did not like people over at his house, it was irritating to let even his idiot friend, Naruto, come over once in a blue moon. However, once the place was clean and back to normal he went straight to bed. He knew nothing was stolen, but whatever the reason they did it was beyond his control.

He had enough of trying to be indirect with Hinata about her problem. He really wanted to help her but could not if she did not confess to any abuse, whether it was from her father or friend. She was very appealing when she smiled rather than when she frowned or got angry. He could not leave her be, it was not in his nature to ignore a person who needed help, whether they wanted it or not; it made him feel responsible for not doing anything. He leaned back in his chair and rethought about his past and the nightmares that followed ever since.

He was always tormented and plagued by the dreams of his past; helpless, and the lacking ability to save them. His family, murdered by his own brother who suffered mental disorders to the max that no therapist could save him. He was sent to the asylum on a island, far far away from society and himself; his old past self. It took Sasuke years to recover from that tragic moment. He finally broke free from the depression growing up, enough to get a job here at the hospital. Though as anti-social he knew he was, he vowed he helped all patients, no matter at what cost.

Besides her own physical evidence, he had nothing else to go on to prove that he knew she was being abused. She did not want to talk about it with him. If he pretended that he had proof of maybe that girl bullying her he could convince her to admit it. Deceitful but it was for her own good, and once that Sakura girl arrested then they could focus on Hinata's father, the bastard.

He sat up straight when she came in; another bruise on her leg. He did not say anything this time but pointed at the couch. As she settled in she began to talk.

"Do you think I could meet your friend Dr. Uzumaki," she asked, a small smile appearing on her face. He was not sure why but every time she mention his name, he felt as if someone punched him in the stomach. His breathing short and quick, as if he was getting annoyed. It was not her, but he had a sicking feeling in the stomach when she was not talking to him directly. Why was Dr. Uzumaki so interesting anyway? It made Sasuke feel...awkward.

"I do not see why not," he clenched his teeth a bit before calming himself down. "I had a friend go to your school," he said and she looked up at him terrified. He had never seen her scared before; however, she tried not to show it.

"Really...Who?"

"A detective," he watched as her nails dug into the couch. He lifted his eyebrow in curiosity.

"I know about the bully," she jerked up as if was about to stand, but he made a quick motion to calm herself down. Paranoia started to take over her, and he could not help but feel a bit guilty for going too fast.

"She has been creating those bruises has not she?," he pointed to her legs. She tried to hide them by crossing her legs did not say anything, he could not see her expression; hidden by her own bangs. If she wo not talk he would make her.

From that he continued, " I know- we ALL know what's happening and who is doing this. This is not a game that you can just...hold out on. Your life could be in danger. The only thing stopping you from happiness, is not your parents or the kids at school. It's you. I can tell you are stronger than this, and we can work through this is you are willing to cooperate". She looked up in horror, he was not sure if she was agreeing or not. "The child protective service is only willing to act with a confirmation, they would make sure justice is serve at best. Hinata-", she stood up not giving him anymore time to speak before turning to make a run for it.

He jumped up and caught her arm, watching her wince in pain, biting her lips and allowing the tears to fall. She would not look at him, but he saw the worst proof; wounds, and lot of them. Knife cuts, and bruises. "These wounds...the cuts... did you do them?", he watch silently as she tried to escape his grasp but could not and shook her head in the process. "Was is your parents that made the cuts?" she shook her head no, "the bruises?", she nodded, "then your schoolmates did it, right?", she did not do anything. He became enraged once again, but this time he was scaring her, "See! You ca not-wait!"

She pushed him onto the floor with her strength and outran him to where he could not longer find her. Dammit, he would be in a lot of trouble if word got out that he let a mentally sick patient escape, potential to do harm to herself or others. He had made a mistake to go so quickly. He made a quick call the police, and the ambulance before grabbing his keys and heading out to find her.

He did not know where to start, and was not sure how much time he might have. He had to think, if he was a emotional honest girl were would she run to- that was it. The Police caught up with him soon enough as he drove to her address, where he then had them follow him... Hinata's house. The cops backed against the door, hearing voices on the other side. A male's voice angry and threatening.

"YOU BITCH, THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. I'LL KILL YOU",please tell him the police heard that. The cops expression became more serious, nodding their heads in silent confirmation,

"This is the police open up!", but did not give the man a chance to reply, busting down the door in the process. If the cops were not there that man would be dead by now, Sasuke swore to that.

Hinata cowered on the ground, her hair tangled in her father's fists. He let go and tried to escape through the back door of the house, but failed. The cops tazed him down and cuffed him up; reading him the miranda rights.

Sasuke made his way towards Hinata 's father, both of their angry gazes burning into each other. He look at one of the cops, who simply nodded before looking away.

WHAM!

That felt definitely made Sasuke feel better, despite her father's face was almost hard as a rock. Ouch. The whole way out the father did nothing but curse and yell, babbling nonsense about it was not him who did it. The arrogant bastard, probably thinking he was excused from the law because he was rich. Well, he got what was coming to him. Sasuke kneeled down besides Hinata; she groan in pain, not daring to look up. He placed his hand on her head and began stroking it.

Her screams filled the room as she began to fight him, "Hinata! It's me", her eyes shot open, and her tears poured out.

She jumped and latched onto him, in surprise. "T-thank you", before her body became limp.

"We need medical assistance, she fainted. There is a medical room at my job, it's not far off". Others came in, picking her up and laying her on the stretcher, leaving Sasuke to be questioned by the police on the situation. He was smiling on the inside; it was over. What he really needed to focus on making sure Hinata manged through the rest of the day.

He did not want to admit it, especially at such a bad time, when she is needing medical treatment but he might actually lo-like like her. Even though she was young and he has always been concern about his patients... and only his patients, but he went to such extents for her. This was a bit different from his old personality. Before he had gotten over his past he was a complete hard-ass, emotionless bastard that turned down every girl, and insulted everyone. It took him years to overcome such negative personality, but it took him a few days to see how much she meant to him.

He knew it was wrong, but she had a charm that took his breathe away when she smiled. Her Eyes stole his soul, and her voice capture his heart. However, he knew it was weird, since the age difference was about four year, actually it only made it weird because she was considered a minor. It did not matter anyway, it was just a feeling he had for her, it was not going to make a difference anyway. She would finish high school, go to college, find a career and wo not even remember him in the long run.

The hospital was pretty much empty except for Hinata, three nurses that he knew, and himself who just momentarily got there.

"How is she," he asked as he arrived at his work place.

To his surprise they forced him to turn around and then started to push him out the door, "she is fine, but we ca not let you see her today. Sorry -looking, come back tomorrow."

"Wait, why? I work here."

"Not for today, now out" strange but ok. At least he knew she would be fine, and turned around to head home to get some sleep after a long day. He did not bother to work on his computer, or check his phone message; he just went straight to bed.

Ino sighed as Sasuke left the building; she leaned against one of the cabinets watching the other two nurses walking around to make sure the system was set up properly. She stared at Hinata with envy and hate. Dr. Uchiha was much more interested in Hinata than her, it was obvious. There was nothing physically special about the girl anyway, brown dark hair and blue eyes?

How boring. She looked like any regular high school girl, and she was not even wearing makeup. Ino was pretty even without makeup, her co-workers even said that. Ever since she came in Dr. Uchiha had been paying less attention to her than usual, not that he ever noticed anyway.

She thought back on what Father had said and looked at the ceiling. Everything she learned, which was a complete and utter surprise, she was not sure whether to believe. Her head was also still hurting from the discovery. Her mind began to go fuzzy as a bright smile appeared on her face. Hinata was hurting and as a nurse it was her job to make the pain go away. The two nurses left Ino and Hinata alone in one of the hospital rooms to run more errands, unknowingly giving the privacy Ino needed.

She turned around to the cabinet behind her and pulled out multiple chemicals, along with a syringe. "A little of barbiturate, paralytic, and potassium solution should make you feel much better Hinata," she giggled to herself.

"I should hate you right now for stealing my true love but the thing is... I do not," she mixed the chemicals in a beaker before inserting the needle inside. " Father explained everything to me, so I do not hate you," she pull out the needle and flicked it, "in fact I pity you. You are nothing but a curse... but one that is in pain. Luckily for you," she walked closer to the sleeping Hinata, "I am 'kind' enough to put an end to your misery. Do not take it personal, I feel bad for you I really do, but there is nothing you can do. I have to finish you off for the cause of good. I am sure you understand, though."

Ino eye's narrowed as she lifted the needle like a knife, and tried to inject the needle into her neck. Hinata's eyes shot opened and she grabbed her hand to prevent the attack.

Sasuke's eyes shot open and sat up; a terrible headache appearing out of know where. Did he really need to go back to taking those pills again? It had been almost three years. He swore if he was not psychologist then he would have never been able to... Hinata! He jumped out of bed, rushing to throw whatever on, grabbing his jacket and heading toward the door before he stopped.

A letter addressed to Hinata laid in front of his door. No return address, or sent address. It could be Hinata's that the cops thought he should keep. Hm, it was from a classmate of Hinata's?

Dear Hinata,

How terrible, I heard the news yesterday. I never knew of all the awful things your father did! Anyway, I am glad your alive...cause... it would not be fun if I did not get a chance to join. I mean no one should be able to make you suffer like that except me. I read your stupid diary too; if you wanted to die so much maybe you should pay me before doing something like that. I would hate to sell your stuff to pay off those debts of walking through 'my' school halls. Also I saw you talking to my Jake, stay away from him or I will shave off your stupid hairstyle. Do not believe me? You should, you have seen my marks I left before. Anyway, hope to see you soon.

Love,

Sakura.

He stared at the letter, mind blank, processing the note. Something in his mind snapped, but he did not realize it. His mind began to feel fuzzy and his conscience and logic started to slip away. His reasoning seemed to twist itself into a new personality he could not recognize or control. It was not over, it was never over. He need to untie a few loose ends, if he wanted to help Hinata completely, even if that meant breaking a few rules along the way. For Hinata...it's worth it.

He pocketed the note, and walked out the door, pulling out his cell phone and asking Dean to send him the address to her school, and a image of Sakura Haruno.

A girl with a blonde medium bob cut sat alone during her lunch period, constantly looking around, as if looking for something; maybe someone. No one stopped by to talk to her or gave her greetings of any kind. Most people looked at her before they continued to walk off. She seemed to be upset. However, Sasuke did not see her expression when he spotted her getting up from the table and walking away. That was Sakura Haruno.

His temper rose; he was not thinking like a doctor, he was thinking like a teenager; a unstable one. He was not only out of character but out of his mind. The conversation he was about to have with her could escalate to multiple scenarios, depending on how things went. Least case scenario, Sakura would walk off with a broken nose and black eye at most.

With Hinata, she awoke with three nurses attending to all her wounds, "don't move, you are still weak", she said placing a hand on her head. Two of the nurse left the third one alone with Hinata for a few minutes. "H-help me", the nurse nodded and replied.

"We will, don't worry."

"N-no!". She screamed, her eyes directed to behind the nurse. She stood to turn around and ended up with a knife through her throat.
