So in this one Remus and Sirius are in their third year and Remus is pinning over Sirius.

Stealing glances at the pure blood from across the library took up most of Remus' day.
Yes he would finish an essay or study for his third year exams but right now, at this very moment, he only had eyes for the black haired and aristocratic friend he was pinning for.
So they would laugh together or share a dorm together or help each other sneak food out of the kitchens together but Remus wanted… Remus wanted more.
He wanted caresses at night with the curtains closed or secretive glimpses in the dining hall or passionate kisses that would make even Eros and Aphrodite's toes curl.
But alas, his hot blooded and mischievous friend wouldn't even...couldn't even think of doing such a thing with him. He was a male after all and the only gender Sirius Black went after were birds.
Watching Sirius conquer as many birds as he could day in and day out stung Remus' already bruised and battered heart, he could only take so much.
So on this very day, Remus tapped his quill on his parchment, spilling ink from the tip as he watched Sirius cackle with amusement as James told of yet another failed attempt at gaining Lily's love.
He willed Sirius to look his way. He willed Sirius to flash him one of the heart fluttering, pulse rising, half cocked and loopy grin his way and he did just that.
