Lets make one thing clear...
This story is not dead.
I just had so many things going on in the last 2 years and trying to decide which college I wanted to go to at the time. Problem solved, I've got a bit of downtime, and I'm ready to write.
As much as it pains me to accept the fact the 2012 series is over with... at least I now know that I don't have to go back and rewrite the whole story. And speaking of the story... even though it'll mainly focus on the 2012 turtles, it will include elements from the TV shows, movies, and comics.
Because lets face it, 1987 started it all with it's charm and comedy; the 90s movies will forever be the true ninja turtle movies to me, not those weird movies Michael Bay made, 2003 had marvelous animation, fight scenes, and story telling; the 2007 movie had great detailed CGI and with the exception of Leo, every character was great, and the IDW comic series is practically one big love letter to the older TMNT fans, which I can appreciate. The Mirage Comics, although a bit dark, had interesting characters like that one leech mutant; and as for Next Mutation... ehhh... Venus is the only thing I like out of the show, despite Peter Laird's hatred of her character...
But I'm getting off track here, aren't I?
The first official chapter will be here by November 20th.
Also, seeing as a lot of reviews displayed their love for Splinter and The Mutanimals... they're in. And I think I have a plan for the other choices...
Anyway, I'll have the cover up by next week.
