Alright, we're going to start off with something fairly light, just because. Our topic today is laundry. Allow me, John, to explain why. Sherlock, for all his genius, deleted how to use a washer. Now this would be perfectly fine, if I hadn't been indisposed when it came time to do the laundry. (I was passed out on pain-meds, hardly my fault *cough cough Sherlock*). Anyway, genius that he is, Sherlock decided to see if he could make all of my clothes stain-free.

Now I have no idea what possessed him to try and use hydrochloric acid in the washer to reach his goal, but he went ahead and did. He also added bleach. Now I don't know if any of you have ever tried something like this (and please, I beg you, don't), but mixing bleach, hydrochloric acid, and water then putting clothes on the spin cycle seems more than a Bit Not Good. It wasn't good. Needless to say, I'm in need of new clothes and Sherlock's been banned from ever touching the new washer. He's also had to send Mrs Hudson on vacation while he finds people to repair the laundry room.

Now what's the lesson in all if this, you may ask? Never try and experiment without taking precautions, and never ever let Sherlock do the washing.

Best wishes,

John Watson and Sherlock Holmes
