"You sure you don't want to come, Bailey?" London asks me, once again.

"No." I answer.

"Well, at least help me pick out my outfit. Which is more a concert-y type of dress?" London asks as she holds up a glittery purple dress in her left hand and a tacky flourescent orange dress with sequins on the side.

"Definetely the purple one." I say and go back to reading.

She's quiet for a few minutes, looking over the dress I picked out.

"You sure?" She asks.

"Ughh! Why are you asking me anyway? I thought you hated my style?"

London sighs and sits on the edge of my bed. "Bailey, why won't you go with us to the concert? It's not because of Cody, is it? Because I can get rid of him." London does an evil laugh.

"Your a good friend, London. But no. It's not that. I'm just-" I pause to think up a lie to tell her. "Tired. Yeah, tired."

"Ok. I'm glad your over Cody then. Which is good, because I heard he's got a new girlfriend. Can't remember her name though." London says as she puts her make-up on.

My eyes tear up, but I blink them back. She can't see me cry, I think. "A-A new girlfriend?"

She just nods as she tries to squeeze her feet into two sizes to small heels.

"Great!" I do the thumbs up sign and smile to hide my denile and sadness.

She grabs her purse and puts all her jewlery on. Wow. She even made the un-tacky dress look tacky. "Well, I'm leaving. Bye."

"Bye." She's already out the door.

My eyes tear up once the door slams, the tears leaving tracks on my face. I put my head on my pillow, but now I can see the picture I still have of him on my nightstand.

I throw the picture on the ground.

"My life is hopeless." I mutter as I sink below the sheets.
