The dim light from the dining room poured in through the door into the Parts and Service room. She quietly crossed the room and wiggled the wooden lid of the box the only unopened box in the room revealing a beat-up maroon fox, sure he there were holes and repairs would be necessary, but he was quite handsome. As gazed upon him, his eye that was not covered by an eye-patch opened revealing a gold-yellow eye that complemented his dark red fur nicely. She quickly noticed that he was like an asylum patient, and his body was constrained and he could hardly move.

She looked at the restraints and saw a key lock. "Perfect!", she thought to herself, as lock-picking was one of her few skills that she learned in her exile, fiddling with the padlocks on the storage door in her cove, hey it wasn't the world's greatest past-time but it was better than nothing.

"Hold on, i'll be right back!", she whispered excited to Foxy as she snuck away in the darkness back towards her Cove, where her bobby pin was that she used for her activities. (A/N: Yes I know that you can't really use a bobby pin for lock picking, but it's the most reasonable thing she would have.)

Foxy was still in shock and had not quite realized what was going on yet. All he knew that was a cute fox girl showed up, and ran away and said she'd be back. Sure, enough minutes later, he heard a faint shuffling in the vent to his right.

She got to work right away, slipping the pin into the locks pushing the pins of the lock into place releasing them from the male fox who was a bit shorter than her. Within 20 minutes, the majority of the locks were off and the fox was freed from his prison.

He opened his mouth to speak, and nothing but static came out. Her ears winced at the noise, and she covered her ears. He used his none hook hand to adjust the wires on his voice box, and his voice was finally heard.

"Hello there lass, to what do I owe the pleasure?", he asked her, a heavy Scottish accent on his tongue, but not so strong that she could not understand him.

"I-I-I u-uh hi?", she sputtered nervously, as she didn't think she'd get this far, and was taken back by his friendly nature and charming looks.

"Haha, hello!", he laughed heartily, a big grin on his face.

"I-I'm Vixey", she told him recovered, trying to finally speak,"I heard from your uh, uh, what's the word you know other animtronics that came with you that you were hear, and that they don't like you and uh, I can relate. My group hates me so much I have to lock the door of my Cove or they'll, they'll..." she started crying, she tried to help it, but while the physical injuries may have been fixed the mental wounds not so much.

Foxy stepped out of the box that he had still been standing in to give her a hug. She kept her sobbing to a minimum and shoved her face into his shoulder to help drown the noise out so they could not be detected. "Aye lass, I know... I sure as hell know, ya don't even have to say it, I didn't get this way by accident. So I get why ya came here but I'm sorry if I'm bein' incenative, but what's ya end game here lass?"

"I-I don't know...", she whimpered quietly into his shoulder, "I'm just so lonely, I'm sorry for bothering you, y-you don't want this.", she finished, defeated.]

"No no no!", he replied swiftly, "I be the one who should say sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I understand ya, I be lonely too lass, ya seem kind, I like ya. Please forgive me for bein' a jerk, I just ain't used to company is all, been a long time", he assured her muttering the last bit of his sentence.

"Y-you don't have to lie to me, I can just go if you'd like...", she replied quietly trying to compose herself.

"I mean it lass I'd like to have a friend, I been alone for I don't know twenty somethin' years now, it'a all blurry now.", Foxy tried to reassure her, telling the truth.

"Twenty years, damn... well don't worry about that now cause now we can be friends", she sounded happy which put a grin on Foxy's face. "And I bet there's all kinds of stuff we can talk about!", she finished making a full recovery, glad she made the trip. She checked the clock in the corner of room and it read to be about 3:40 in the morning. "We got about two hours left before the openers will be here if you want chit-chat right now." she inquired hopefully.

"Sure", Foxy replied,"Go ahead, ladies first."

"Tell me about yourself, if you don't mind that is.", she asked him, "I've heard bits and pieces of a Foxy who was around ages ago, but nothing too solid.

"Alright, I be game.", Foxy started, the grin fading from his face, replaced by a more serious expression. "Well when I was made, who could say, first thing I remember was wakin' up in me own Pirate's Cove. It was excitin' to say the least, the chance to be a star, and for the most part, things were good. Freddy and the others got along with me, and we had a good thing goin' the four of us. After the store close, we's had the place to ourselves to do whatever, Chica made pizza for the four of us, nothin' huge tho, so that the boss wouldn't notice", he chuckled a little at that part, remembering the "good ol' days","and then that day in '87, I ain't never forgettin' that till the day I die. I, I don't know what came over me, I had no control, but I had just finshed me show and I-I...", he voice fell silent, and he sat their motionless in the darkness for what must've felt like an eternity. Vixey sat there waiting, wanting to ask him what happened but she dared not push him, for his calm demeanor had entirely melted away.

"I bite a kid in the head, chomped the front of the lads head away... there was blood everywhere, people shouting, the mother was screamin' sayin' she was gonna sue the day lights outta us, make sure I was scrapped, it was a mess. The place was shut for the day, and boy did the other three give me hell and a half for that. I tried to explain what had happened, but they didn't listen and made me like this, and I don't blame em'. Whether or not I know why, I still did it. I be haunted by that till I be dead I tell ya. That be me story, and that should clear up this", he muttered pointing to his various holes and tears,"and that too", he said motioning to the metal restraints. "After that, the boss, a kind fellow, had the Cove cleaned and locked up, to appease the public, and to protect me too, he saw that they did. We has buddies, but I understand why I never saw him after, it was best for everyone...", he concluded, looking away from Vixey with a frown on his face as he held back tears.

Vixey leaned in and hugged him, "It's okay, you can't keep blaming yourself for that, you said it yourself, you had no control."

He just sat there in her embrace for a couple minutes, he had never been able to tell anybody and it felt good to finally get the weight of his crimes of his chest to somebody, and she didn't even seem to care! They let go of each other, and he looked at her with a weak smile on his face, and muttered, "Thank you."

"No problem, everyone needs a shoulder to cry on sometimes", she told him with a soft smile on her face, "I can relate.". Vixey checked the clock again and saw it was already 5:00. "Shit I need to get going, the openers will be here in an hour and I'm sure that the others will be here soon. Here get back in the box; we'll put the restraints back on, but we won't lock them, so we can hang out tomorrow night?", she said sheepily with a smile on her face, hoping he would agree.

"Yeah, let's get it done real quick lass, and of course we can hang out tomorrow after they leave here. I owe ya that at least for tonight, and I like ya too, your real nice. Hope we can be friends or somethin' maybe. Oh and I don't think I told ya my name yet, I be Foxy.", he told her a big grin on his face. He had finally found a new friend, hopefully we could keep it that way. The way she smiled ear to ear like a kid on Christmas made him all the more happy.

Vixey was giddy for tomorrow, but felt bad she had to restrain her new friend Foxy, and put him back in the box. "Ok, sounds good, bye Foxy", she whispered to him as she put the lid back on the box. She grabbed the vent cover and put it back into place before she shimmied her way back to her Cove. She could hardly contained her excitement to talk with Foxy tomorrow.
