"Hey, asshat!" She said, grabbing his shoulder.
"What?" He said turning to the voice, only to see a flash of yellow followed by him collapsing unconsciously to the ground.
Shaking her fist, she turned back towards Blake, only to see her face aimed at her with anger. Yang instantly regretted her decision, but the feeling to please took over her first instinct.
"You alright?" She asked.
"Yang! I told you not to follow me!" Blake shouted.
She was taken aback. She knew Blake was angry, but a pang of guilt shot through her chest as the girl she loved was now pointing her anger at her. She tried to diffuse the situation as the best of her ability.
"I only came to help." She tried.
"Help. Help! That didn't help! You only made it worse! This is all your fault, fiddling in other people's problems without the need expecting to help them when it only ends up with them that has the backlash. You pry, you instigate, and you just- augh!" Blake shouted.
Yang just stood there and took it. Blake was right, now that she thought about it. Every person she 'helped' has ended up with some form of new and bigger problem. All this time, it took a few words to see that. It was her fault. Not bad luck, not the bullies, and most certainly not the people she 'helped.' It was her. Tears started to form in her eyes as Blake continued.
"Now I'm in bigger trouble because of you! And it's going to take more than words to fix. I wish I never came to this school." Blake finished, tars now visible on her face.
She was right. Coming here only put her in more of a corner that she was already in. Maybe coming here wouldn't have made her end up here? No. Coming here wasn't the problem. It was herself. Maybe if she didn't try to be so 'helpful,' she'd probably still be doing well on without her. And what words could she say to help? Help... no, not help, but at least calm her down. None.
Yang thought while she stood with her head down and cried. Blake doing the same. Yang thought and thought, but couldn't come up with anything. Talking would only make it go from bad to worse, so... What about showing? Yes, instead of talking it out, what about showing her she cared?
Yang looked up to see Blake turn to walk away. It was now or never.
Blake opened her mouth to say goodbye but was caught off guard when warmth suddenly enveloped her entire form. A warmth she hasn't felt since she was young. Since her parents were around...
Blake paused, dumbfounded and at a loss of words, but Yang began to speak her heart and soul out, not skipping a beat.
"Blake, please. I'm sorry, and I have no excuse for my fault but please, don't go. I...I love you, Blake. More than a friend, and I want to cherish something between you and me. And I promise you, nothing can ever keep me from abandoning you. All I'm asking is please don't leave. Please don't abandon me."
Blake couldn't talk. She just ran the words through her mind over and over. '...nothing could ever keep me from abandoning you.' 'Please don't abandon me.' And Blake saw it, she saw what she was doing to other people. She saw that she was doing the same as he did to her all those years ago. Leaving without a second thought. Running when the problems started to arise. She clenched her fist. If that's what she saw herself doing to many of her old friends in the past, now she would end it here. She would not end up like him.
"Yang..." Blake started, only did Yang hum and loosen her grip, "please...hold me closer."
Blake began sobbing, then crying, then baling her eyes out as Yang held on tight, not once letting loose for the entire time and crying right along with her. Letting loose all of these emotions that have pent up over the many years felt comforting within the grasp of each other. The seconds turned to minutes as they both stood holding each other close and their crying died down to a sob.
Blake was the first to recover herself from the pit of despair, "I love you too Yang."
Pulling back, they stared into one another's eyes. Amber meeting Lilac as they closed the distance between them connecting in a deep passionate kiss. A couple of seconds went by as their tongues wrestled with each other trying to fight over dominance and win the battle, but it came void when they pulled away for air and went back to staring deeply into the other's eyes.
Yang broke contact first, looking back over to the still unconscious Cardin. "What should we so now?" She asked.
"We run...together," Blake said.
"I like that idea."
Kind of short. Wait, actually hella short. This one has been thought of, but I couldn't completely figure out the spicy details. So I just made a snippet of the near beginning. The Inspiration is of an old story I read in the A&O fandom that had guns, cars, sex and it was actually pretty good if you liked the fast-paced and thoroughness of the story.
