Chapter 2

In his lap his study books were placed, open and ready for the expected studying from Kyouya; but his eyes were off to the side watching Haruhi in the seat next to him. As he had predicted she had tried to scurry off alone once her things had been placed in her room. So Kyouya made up the lie that he needed to study too. Why? He was still trying to figure that out.

He could tell by the way her eyes never moved and how her pages were flipped at exact times that she was not really studying. Then why did she continue to pretend? He wondered turning his head so it was now obvious he was watching her. She continued to stare at her open book, flipping the pages at precise times. He counted silently and she flipped at twenty-two seconds.

"Why are you staring at me Senpai?" Haruhi mumbled moving her eyes slowly up from the page. Kyouya shrugged and pushed his glasses up his nose.

"Just wondering why you're not studying."

"I am studying." She protested but the faintest highlight suggested otherwise.

"Then what has been happing in that chapter." He snatched the book away before she could glance down.

"Hey!"

"Tell me then Haruhi." Kyouya said thumbing through the pages to familiar himself with her studies.

"Senpai why must you be so aggravating. Just give me my book back." She held her hand out like he was a disobedient child. He arched a brow at her as the sun danced across his glasses.

"I'm aggravating am I? That's not very polite to say to someone who's taken you into their home." Haruhi's face flushed a little darker and she lowered her hand.

"Fine keep it." She got up from the couch they'd been sharing and stormed off towards the window. She folded her arms across her bare arms and stared out.

Haruhi was extremely annoyed at the time. Her brain refused to study, her eyes were heavy and she was absolutely freezing. Kyouya's recent attitude wasn't helping either. She couldn't get that little incident in the limo out of her mind. It had been nothing. Nothing nothing nothing at all. She had been too hot and he had been too cold, they just solved the problem in a unusual way. That's it. Why was she so confused about it? And why couldn't she concentrate with Kyouya staring at her, and sitting so close and breathing so evenly, and…..

"Ugh!" Haruhi grunted slapping herself in the forehead. Just stop thinking girl! She shouted mentally turning away from the window only to receive a surprise.

"Is something wrong Haruhi?" Kyouya asked as she collided with his chest when she turned around. It was extremely comfortable, and warm she didn't want to move. She gasped and turned tomato red as she hopped back quickly finally realizing what she was doing.

"N-Nothing Senpai." She stuttered quickly trying to lower the color of her face.

"Are you ever going to answer my question?" He asked leaning in closer to her face. She felt her heart pound and her eyes grow large. Stop it! Stop it stop it! She screamed so loud in her head she was half surprised Kyouya didn't hear her. Or her heart.

"I was studying Senpai. And now I'm leaving." Haruhi snapped moving around him quickly and practically running out the door.

"She's gonna get lost." Kyouya sighed pushing his glasses up his nose as he listened to her footsteps in the hallway.

"Haruhi come back!" Kyouya shouted following at a slower pace out of the library. But when he entered the hallway Haruhi was no where in sight and it was dead silent. How could she have gotten so far away so quickly? He wondered.

"Damn it." He growled annoyed as he set off in a completely random direction. Someone would find her eventually…..hopefully.

A/N: Wow i just realized how short this chatper is so sorry. Next update will be longer I promise, and sorry if its not to your expectations i don't know whats been wrong with me lately. But i'll try make the next chapter longer and ten star worth :D. Ah, also, sorry for not updating kinda forgot about this story..hehe…Please review review and review!
