Yay chapter one. This ones gonna be a bit short, sorry!
Eveningkit kept forward onto the small ball of moss as it rolled around the nursery. She had just opened her eyes today and as soon as Phoenixfall woke up she was going to take her outside. Eveningkit was super excited to finally see the camp.
But for now, this moss ball was escaping.
"Ekkk come back here!" She cried as she chased it across the den again, nearly running into the rocks and thorns. She giggled as she picked it up and wandered off to the middle of the nursery. However before she could start batting at it again have was lifted up by someone. She squirmed a bit before she recognized the scent of sunleap and let herself be placed at Phoenixfalls belly. She pouted up at him,
"Why did you pick me up?" He let out a warm laugh, eyes sparkling.
"Because, little kit. Phoenixfall is do to wake up any moment, isn't that right Phoenixfall?" The queen groned, but opened her eyes.
"I'm awake. I'm~ awake" she mutters, drawing out the m the seconds time. Eveningkits excitement grew.
"YAY! Does this mean I can go outside, please?" She practically begged. Phoenixfall sighed, but the let out a small laugh.
"Go on eveningkit. But be careful" eveningkits face dropped.
"Aren't you coming with me?" She asked softly, Phoenixfall shook her head softly.
"No little one. I need my rest. Sunleap can take you if you really wish to be shown around" Eveningkit looked thoughtful for a moment.
" no, I wanna explore by myself!" with that she dashed off.
When the young kit went outside she blinked furiously, it was so bright and sunny. She made a small squeal as she saw the busy warriors and stormpaw practicing. After a moment of staring she ran up to him,
"Stormpaw stormpaw!" She called to her ex denmate, he turned to her and gave a small grunt.
"Hello eveningkit" the young apprentice spoke as she reached him. "Is Phoenixfall finally letting you out of the nursery?" eveningkit nodded, she didn't know stormpaw too well because they had only lived in the nursery at the same time for a few days, all of which eveningkit had her eyes closed for. However she knew him better than any of the warriors.
" yep! It's so bright out here. " stormpaw let out a small chuckle.
"Well, you'll get used to it. Plus it affects the prey just as much as us"
"Really? Wow being an apprentice sounds super fun"
"Nah, it's super tireing"
Oh wow, it's been much to long. I feel bad about doing this, not writing for a long time I mean.
