Prompt: What if Quinn's mom never came to take her back. Quinn still gave Beth up but has been living with Puck since then. They argue a lot but remained best friends! This is set sometime in season 3!
This was one of those times when Quinn really missed her family. It was also when she hated Puck more; if it wasn't for him, she would still be living with her parents. She doesn't completely blame him of course, after all it was her parents' choice to kick her out, they should've supported her when she most needed.
Living with Puck could be fun; she spent some really great days with him. But right now, she just wanted to pick up her bags and leave.
"Stop insisting! I'm not going to lie to your mother so you can go and have sex with some whore!" she yelled. He was really getting into her nerves.
"C'mon Quinn! I'm not doing that, I'm just going out with Finn and the other guys…"
"Then why lie?" She asked, suspicious.
"Because I don't want her to know ok?!" he was starting to get mad. Why wouldn't she just help him out?
"I'm not doing that Puck. Your mother has been really kind to me, I'm not going to betray her trust like that." She, once again, refused.
He sighed. There was no way he was getting her to lie for him without telling her the truth.
"Fine! I'm not going out ok?! The guys are just going to help me study for my geography exam…If I fail it, I'm not going to graduate this year!" he confessed, not looking her in the eyes.
"Why don't you tell your mother the truth?" She asked, getting closer to him and putting her arm on his shoulders.
He took off her arm of his shoulders and stepped back.
"I don't want her to think that I'm just like my father, that I can't do anything right…" he kept looking away.
She understood how he felt. She had been compared to other people before too and it was awful.
She lifted his chin to make him look at her and said:
"I'll do it, I'll tell your mother you're out with the guys. Just don't ever think you're like your father ok? Because you're not. You're so much better…"
He looked at her and smiled.
"Thanks Q, I owe you one."
She smiled too.
"I'm going to Santana's now, I'll be back in a few hours" she said, while heading towards the door.
"Q?" he said, before she walked out of the door.
"Yes?" She asked.
"I'm really glad you came live here." He said and started to look for his long lost geography book.
'Me too.' She thought, while heading towards her car.
