The next day, Mom informed D tent that Barfbag was being housed in Houston General Hospital and would not be returning to camp any time soon. Mikey was so sad at the news. She had finally realized the reason for Barfbag doing what he did. Mom also told them that they should be expecting a new camper soon to replace Barfbag.
Mikey, Zigzag, Armpit, and Magnet were playing a partnered game of pool two days after Barfbag was taken away. So far, Mikey and Zigzag were losing to Armpit and Magnet. Badly. They would have been the ones giving each other high fives and victory dancing had it not been for Mikey who couldn't play pool to save her life.
"I'm never playing pool with you ever again," Zigzag muttered darkly as Mikey once again missed a shot.
She turned around with the pool stick in hand and pouted. "Aww, that's mean Ziggy!" she said playfully, trying to look hurt.
Zigzag raised an eyebrow. "The truth ain't pretty." He grabbed her around the waist and gave her a kiss that made Mikey melt on the inside. Zigzag pulled away with a smile. "Unlike you," he finished.
"Will ya two love birds quit that," Armpit said impatiently. "Zig, it's your turn."
Mikey handed Zigzag the pool stick and watched as he bent forward in front of her and aimed. She took this time to slightly bend her knees, giving her a better view of Zigzag's ass. And here is the only reason why I even wanted to play pool, Mikey thought. Wow.
"Armpit, Zigzag, Knuckles, Magnet!" Squid called from the Wreck Room door. The four teens looked over to him. "We got a newbie in our tent! Mom wants us!"
Zigzag and Squid put away the sticks and with Mikey and Armpit, followed Squid. "Zero, come on!" Mikey yelled over to the far corner of the Wreck Room. Sitting there alone and slightly isolated was Zero. He silently got up and followed.
At the tent, Mom introduced them to the new guy, Stanley. "Stanley this is Jose, Theodore, Ricky, and Mikey," he pointed to each individual.
They introduced themselves as Magnet, Armpit, Zigzag, and Knuckles. Mikey raised an eyebrow when Stanley stared at her. "Yes, I am a girl," she told him. He blushed and looked away.
Mom walked over to the cot where Zero now laid. "And this here is Zero. You know why we call him Zero? Because there's nothing inside his head," Mom said and playfully tasseled Zero's frizzy brown hair. Mikey frowned as he did this. She hated how Mom always treated Zero like wasted space. Mom left the tent and the others were soon leaving too.
"Hey Mikey, we're gonna finish the game!" Magnet yelled.
Mikey turned around and followed. She gave Zigzag a smack on the back of his head when she caught him trying to convince Squid to play in Mikey's place.
"Ricky McRath!"
"Whaaat!" he whined.
