It was a cool evening and the wind felt soft against his cheek coming through the

window along with some of the tiny rain droplets.

He had been at school late getting all his work that he would miss while on a trip with his family.

Of course, he knew he would get it all done within hours but he didn't care.

Light left and as he walked he noticed someone leaning on the stone wall, looking as if something may be wrong.

His white long-sleeved shirt looked a bit worn as did his blue jeans.

As Light got closer he noiced that the man had no coat or even shoes. Light was puzzled by it fore it had been raining

all night. 'What has he been doing, out here in the cold?' Light asked himself as he went up to him and

looked him up and down.

The man was shivering and breathing heavily, his arms holding himself tightly to retain warmth. Light blushed lightly

at his cuteness, not knowing how he could fine a man cute... let alone one who is sick.

"Hey... Sir, are you okay?" Light spoke softly as he leaned forward.

In a breathy tone the man answered hesitantely. "I'm... fine... leave me be."

Light raised an eyebrow. "You're not fine, you're going to die of pnemonia if you stay out here any

longer, you're soaking wet... it seems as if you also have a fever." Light adjusted his bag strap and

took the mans wrist. "Come with me. I'll help you."

The man risited at first but then, too weak and too sick to even protest, followed Light to his home where

Light made him tea and soup. ALso laid him in his own bed to warm him up.

"Here... go take a bath and I'll lend you some of my clothes. I'll wash those." Light tugged at the others shirt

and pulled him up, taking him to the bathroom, starting a bath and then helping him.

"Thank you... You're very kind. Though you didn't have to do this. I can bathe by myself..." He looked up at him just as Light

poured some warm water over his head. The man seemed to purr though he was a bit startled by the sudden warmth.

"Well I want to help. You have a fever." He sits there and washes the others back. After a long pause the man speaks.

"... I'm L..."

"What a nice name... (Light chuckles in the middle of his sentence) I'm Light, It's nice to meet you."

L starts laughing lightly. "Your name is Light? Pleasant." They laugh together for a bit then Light takes L

back to bed with some fresh clothes, soup and tea. L sips the tea and eats the soup as he curls up in Light's

bed. Light sits at his desk, doing his homework. L just watches him, feeling safe with him.

````````` ... `````````````
After the next week or two L gets better and then since Light couldn't bare to leave him on his own he took him
on the family trip. His father didn't even pay attention, his mother was too busy to notice and his siter couldn't
stop saying how cute L was.
Light and L stood at the shore at sunset as the family had just gotten there around 'bed time' and were out like lights in the hotel room.
The two kicked some water around and chatted quietly to one another.
After the sun was just about set, Light wrapped his arms around L and held him tightly. "I'm glad you recovered so
quickly..." Light's face was flushed pink.
L blinked and then crack a smal smile, draping his arms over Light's shoulders. "You took such good care of me... thats how
Thank you so much."
Light chuckled and held onto him, gently moving one arm to cup L's face and stroke it. "It was a pain... but worth it."
L rolled his eyes and suddenly planted a kiss on Light's lips, holding it and pressing forth with it. Light followed suit and
grunted softly into the kiss, liking what was happening... This persisted as time when on throuh the night. Little kisses
and cuddling, of course when no one was looking... Or so they thought.
"Light... I love you. I can't say it implicitly."
"I love you too, L." He grinned and kissed L passionately once more.
