Caroline loved chocolate.
Any type of chocolate.
Dark, milk, white.
With caramel, in her coffee, on top of ice cream. Melted or solid. Chocolate bars, chocolate candies, ice cream, yogurt, pudding, cake, syrup, cookies, donuts, drinks..
But most of all, she loved her chocolate boy.
Now, she didn't mean she had a boy made or carved out of chocolate.
Takato Matsuki.
His dark brown hair, a mix between dark caramel and cream. His warm eyes, a color that was almost red but really just a light brown. His skin, creamy white chocolate tipped with the reddest of cherry around his cheeks and nose.
Although that was probably because he didn't know how to handle girls, more specifically, her.
But that was besides the point.
Chocolate was her comfort. Takato was, too.
Everything.
His hugs, his kisses, his love. His everything. A certain aura to him made her feel .. like she belonged.
It was nice.
His kisses tasted like dark caramel mixed with the sweetest of honey. She should know, they'd kissed enough times for her to realize that. Bread was mixed in there too- well, he did live at a bakery. So that was a given thing.
...
But..
They were as comforting as the chocolate the had given her on White Day, the male equal to Valentine's Day in Japan.
Even now, in the park, as she lay in the grass with her head buried in his chest. Arms hung loosely around his neck, his own arms locked rightly around her neck in a sweet embrace. She felt soothed.
He kissed her forehead. His hair tickled her cheeks. The soft warmth that radiated from his cheeks could only be described as a blush.
He smelled like chocolate.
"I love you," He said.
She smiled.
Caroline loved chocolate.
Author's Note
This is just a little something I wrote in class to kick off the one-shot collection. Yes, Takato x OC, more fluff-tastic than most of them will end up being. I do hope you stay tuned for more action-packed one-shots, but, if you enjoy these cute little drabbles, do tell. I hope to see you all next time !
