Turns out I wasn't quite done yet. Let's play again. #EndTheSuspenseIn200WordsOrFewer

It is way too late, and I should go to sleep. lol

Oliver pushed the doorbell and waited for Shane to answer. It was late, but he had to talk to her.

"Oliver! What a nice surprise, would you like to come inside?"

"No. Ms. McInerney, I'm happy to stay out here. I had something I wanted to tell you. You see, I've been attempting to let you know this for a while, but apparently the porch swing, and the house, and the rose bush, and the Valentine's invitation are not capable of speaking as loudly as I had hoped. So I'll just say it. I love you."

"Really? Huh. I hoped so, but couldn't know for sure. I've been trying to tell you the same thing. You know - stashing YooHoo, knowing your favorite sandwich, ordering you cake. Hasn't worked well for me either. So. I love you too."

"I feel like finally saying this out loud could save us another year of relationship trouble."

"Maybe so. We'll have to find something else to cause drama."

"Since I've met you, I've dealt with a wandering wife, an estranged father, a surprise father, a mail hostage situation and any number of other things. I have a feeling something will happen."
