We got back to the apartment at around 7:00.

"Remember, we have dinner with Lou at 8." said Miss Hannigan. We all nodded and started walking to our room.

"Wait! I almost forgot! I have something for you all."

"You do?" Pepper asked.

"Yea. I hope you like it." Miss Hannigan replied, handing us each a big white bag.

When I opened mine up, the first thing I saw was a pink, purple, and turquoise polka dotted dress. The other thing that was in there was a matching phone case.

I looked over at the other girls, who were smiling. Pepper had gotten a red and orange dress, Tessie a pink and green, and Isabella a blue and yellow. They also each got phone cases to match their dresses, like I did.

"Woah." Isabella exclaimed.

"Where did you get the money for this stuff?" Pepper asked.

"I sold all my alcohol and drugs. It all sold in like, five minutes. People these days," said Miss Hannigan. "Go ahead, go try them on."

When we came back out into the living room, Miss Hannigan just stared and stared.

"You girls look...amazing," she said with a smile. "Maybe you could wear them when we go to dinner." We all nodded.

...

When we got to the diner, we saw Lou already sitting at a table.

"Hello, girls." he said as we sat down,

"Hi Lou!" my foster sisters and I all said at the same time. "Jinx!" we said together again.

We all ordered then looked back at each other. I was sitting on one side of the booth with Miss Hannigan and Lou, and Pepper, Tessie, and Isabella were sitting on the other side.

"So, how's my Annie?" Lou started.

"Good. Great, actually. You should see her house. It's so big!" Tessie exclaimed.

"How 'bout you, Spice?" Lou said to Miss Hannigan, using his new nickname for her.

"I'm fine." Miss Hannigan replied as the food came.

When we finished dinner, Lou came over. And boy did we party! I never knew Lou was such a good dancer!

Right when Lou left, there was a knock and the door.
