Lying in a colorful forest, Russel blinks his eyes while trying to gather his surroundings. He didn't know where he was at all, and how he got into this ridiculous get up. The strong man was adorned in a light silver chain mail covering his white shirt. Clasped around his neck was a long red cloak. As he was looking at his new ensemble, he noticed a tattoo on his hand that looked like a red spade.
He started to question how he could've possibly gotten such a tattoo, but was interrupted by the growling of his stomach. He didn't know how famished he was till now, and the sudden realization caused him to bend over, clutching his stomach. He needed something to eat, and fast, but where was he going to find some food in a forest like this? This huge forest, all colorful, and sparkly, as if covered with… sugar….
Russel then took an actual good look and saw that the entire forest was made of food. Sweet, delicious, wonderful food. Without a second's hesitation, Russel began to scarf down all the sweets he could see at the time. They were so sweet, so wonderful. He couldn't help himself. His face and hands were soon covered in powdered sugar, sprinkles and oh-so-delicious cherry jam. As Russel enjoyed his meal, he started walking through the forest's path. This is when he realized that there were even more sweets along the path. Elated, Russel helped himself to as much as he could carry in his arms and mouth. He continued down the path, leaving a path of destruction and desolation behind him. The only way one would know that there were any life on the forest path would be to look on the ground to see the trail of cherry jam.
Russel continued on his way, munching on all the delicious treats he had recently obtained. Soon, he found that he was deep in the forest. No longer was it the happy, colorful atmosphere he was enjoying ..before. It was no dark, with thorny vines everywhere. Once and a while, a dull red rose would be found amongst the thorns. Russel suddenly became anxious, looking around him. A commanding voice spoke out from the darkness, startling Russel and causing him to drop the last of his sweets.
"Alice! You have committed terrible crimes against Wonderland!" Spoke out the voice.
"What in the hell? I think you've got the wrong person. My name isn't-" spoke Russel, but he was cut off by the voice once more.
"Were you not the one that had destroyed the citizens of the forest? There is a trail that leads to you, and the evidence is all over you."
Russel's blood ran cold as he realized that those 'sweets' he had eaten… were not sweets. He had destroyed lives. He suddenly felt sick. Behind him, the thorny vines began to slither and rise above Russel, ready to strike.
"Alice of the Red Spade, you must pay for your heinous crimes." As the voice spoke out its judgment, the vines went into action. The wrapped themselves around Russel's body, tearing into his flesh with their hooked vines. Russel yelled out in pain, but his cries were ignored. The vines pulled Russel upward until he was suspended in the air. Russel looked up to see many vines intertwine with each other to create themselves to what looked like a dagger. Russel's eyes widened in fear as the commanding voice spoke out once more.
"The penalty for such crimes as these… is death."
As soon as the voice spoke out these last words, the dagger of vines rushed towards Russel's body. He barely managed to shout out in protest before his abdomen was sliced open. Russel lay silent and in shock from the pain. As he slowly slipped into eternal darkness, he noticed his blood dripping down and decorating the dull roses in a gorgeous shade of crimson.
It was then that Russel, the Alice of Red Spades, was lost to the insanity of Wonderland.
