Chapter 1

Beauty

In a village that was little far for the castle. People doing their normal day to day thing. Baker baking his bread, the blacksmith hammering swords and horse shoes for the people and pokemon that live there,and the farmers working on their land.

In the village there was a little farm house with a bit of land on it. The house was made out of wood with stews roofing. On the farm there was a Zebstrika, Miktank, Torchics and Tepigs.

"Come on Lucy it time to get up!" A young lady calls out to her younger sister with the sun high up in the sky and the town's people all ready out and making the streets busy.

The young lady was a sixteen year old teenage girl. Her chestnut hair was done up in pigtails that match her hazel eyes. She was wearing a red shirt and a blue dress over it and had on some black boots.

"Lyra! Why do we have to get up so early? I'm still sleepy." The five year old whined at her and rubbing her eye to show that she was still tired. She was in a nightglow that was white and had chestnut hair like her sister and lighter hazel eyes.

Lyra was putting the last book in her small basket and turn toward her sister and walk up to her and running her hand though Lucy hair. "Now how can you be tired? I let you sleep in and I didn't see you working on the farm." Lyra laugh and Lucy bringing her head back away from Lyra and laugh sweetly.

"Are we going to the bookstore?" Lucy asks innocently.

"Yes, but not where you're still in your nightglow." Lyra joke with her and let out her sweet laugher and scurry up stairs to get change.

Lyra let out a chuckle and went and pick up her basket and hear running up above and raised an eyebrow at it. 'She can't get dress that fast can she?' Lyra thought to herself.

Lucy came down the stairs and she was dress in her usable outfit. A white shirt that went to her elbow, a light pink dress over it, a dark pink apron with it, and a bandana the same colour.

"Wow you get ready fast." Lyra stated.

"Well ya! We're going to the bookstore now come on we're not going to get good books if we don't get there soon!" Lucy grab her older sister hand and pull her along to the door.

"Ok ok I'm coming Lucy I'm coming!" Lyra couldn't help but laugh at her sister excitement and took her hand and leaded her to the door.

Walking down the streets of the village they were born and raised in. The town's people saying hello to the girls they finally got to the bookstore.

The bookstore owner turns around and saw them. The owner was a young lady with purple hair and brown eyes. She had on a purple dress and a black apron with a black hat on and glasses on her face.

Pushing the glasses up on her face she ran up to the girl and said. "Lyra! Lucy! It's my two favourite's customers! Here to get now books?" The book keeper asks the girls.

"Well we're here to return these Shauntal," Lyra pull out the books she had in her basket and hand them to her. "And did you get any now books?" Lyra asks.

"Oh yes but someone already put it up." Shauntal said sadly.

"It fine besides," Lyra said and turn her attention to her sister and her sister running around the bookstore looking at all the books in their shelves.

"Books! Books! Books!" Lucy cried out with the biggest smile on her face.

"I think Lucy doesn't care." Lyra and Shauntal laugh at that and Lyra went to pick out a book. She was looking at all the books on the shelves wondering which one to get.

"Lyra can we get this one! can we can we!" Lucy beg jumping up and down holding the book in her hands. Lyra pick up the book and looked back at Lucy.

"You read this three times already Lucy?" Lyra question her.

"Ya but I lovvvvvvvvvve it." Lucy said happily with the biggest smile on her face.

"Well if she love it that much she can have." Shauntal said and Lyra snap her head to her and run to the store clerk and pull out her gold from the basket but then Shauntal put her hand over Lyra's and said.

"You need it more than I do." She smile at her and Lyra nodded and thank her and grab Lucy hand made her leave.

"Have a nice day Lyra and Lucy!" Shauntal wave at the girls.

Lyra open the door and looked back at Shauntal. "Thank again! Have a nice day to!" Lyra went out the door and walk down the streets.

"Well if it isn't Ms Lyra." Lyra know who the voice belong to and wish she didn't. 'Oh great.' she thought.

Lyra turn around and saw a young man with ten green hair and green eyes and was in a black shirt and blue pants and black boots. He had on his unpleasing smirk.

Lucy run behind Lyra this was a usual habitat that she did because she was shy around people and also was terrified of him. Lucy grab Lyra dress in her small fists and sealed her eyes tightly shut trying to escaped her biggest fear but then she feat comfort when her sister put her hand on top of her head.

"What do you want Proton?" Lyra growl at him not being the slightest pleased about his presents.

"Come on Lyra I just wanted to talk."Proton said and gave her a sly smile. Coming closer to her to get a better look of her, but too close for Lyra's liking.

"I have to go." Lyra turn around and grab Lucy hand and was trying to get away from him but then he grab her forearm to prevent her from escaping.

"Come on Lyra, I just wanted to talk-"

"What going on here?" A stern voice said and then Lyra turns her head and saw a redheaded man that had his hair spiked up and brown eyes. He was wearing a navy blue shirt and navy blue pants with black letter boots and a black cape.

"Nothing wrong, I was just leaving."Proton said then made his leave. After when he was go the red hair man looked at Lyra and ask "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine Lance but thank you." Lyra said and bow.

"Where are you going anyways? The bookstore?" Lance asks with a smile across his face and laughing knowing her as well as he did.

Lyra laugh at that and haul up her basket and pull out a book and show it to Lance.

"We're already when to the bookstore today! We're just about heading home." Lyra said cheerfully and put the book back into the basket.

"Ya and Shauntal gave me 'Tale of the Rattata'" Lucy cry and started dancing around with it.

Lyra and Lance couldn't help but laugh at that and continue their way to Lyra's house and ask Lance.

"So, What have you be up to?"

"Oh I was thinking of going to the next town over, you know for a little adventure." Lance said.

"Wow! That sound cool!" Lyra said happily always love hearing about his upcoming adventure then Lyra turn her head and saw her Zebstrika stopping his feet and whipping his head trying to get her attention.

Lyra walked over to him and stroke his head. "I'm here Storm, Don't worry." she softly said to him and he blew air on her.

Lance walked over to him and patted him behind the ear then Lyra ask him. "How long are you going to be gone for?"

"I'll be back by spring."

"Spring? but it already fall?" Lyra groaned at that when she heard what Lance told her. She knew that he always leave for a long time every time but it just not a good time for him to leave to say.

"Well ya you should-" then he realize. "Oh, Hey Lyra," Lyra looked up at him. With him being taller than her, I mean she can't even reach his shoulder.

"Look Lyra I know that you don't want me to leave because of Proton and so I know that but you're a strong girl, you can take care of yourself." Lance said to her and Strom just nudged her with his nose and Lyra just started stroke his nose again.

"Lyra?" Lyra turn her head and saw her sister standing there with a Torchic in her arms and ask. "Can I go on a adventure with Lance please?" she ask with her puppy dog eyes.

Lyra taking back by this request. Why does she want to go on an adventure with Lance? Then she felt a hand grab her shoulder and Lyra looked over her shoulder and saw Lance's brown eyes and he said.

"Don't worry Lyra, she will be with me. She will be safe." Lance said humbly.

Lyra just smile at this but deep inside her there was a part of her that just wanted to screamed out NO!

After getting Storm ready and letting Lucy go with Lance but still something was tugging at her. 'What is this feeling'
