Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender.
My plan is simple yet effective. When I manage to pull this plan off, it should be sold and I shall write a book about it. This sounds too much like hard work, so maybe I just can pay someone to write it for me and I will poke and laugh at them until they finish my work of art or my book, whichever one you prefer. I quite like the idea of poking and laughing at someone while they are doing the work I should be doing myself. If they ask me why they have to write it, I can say,"Duh! I am blind" and pull at my eyes to prove my point.
But if everyone is curious, I actually can write…with my feet.
Moving on.
Okay, I shall put stage one of my plan into action. But first, breakfast. I am ravenous with hunger. I need nourishment. Right on cue, Katara screams the place down.
"EVERYONE, BREAKFAST IS READY!"
I think that just broke the records for loudest noise ever. After five minutes, when the ringing in my ears begins to die, I run down in my hurry to try and salvage some food before Sokka arrives. That boy sure can eat. Maybe he has some problem we don't know about. Maybe he has a tapeworm. Sokka should really get that check out…
I sit down on the nearest seat and wait impatiently for Zuko to arrive. Why is he so late? Usually, he is up when Katara comes down to make breakfast so that he can make some more time for sucking face….oh I meant, kissing ass. But by the end of this mission, they will be sucking face openly.
Actually scratch that thought, I don't want to see any more extracurricular activities than I have to and Sokka and Suki are randy beasts as they are… I don't need another couple updating my 'delicate' psyche.
Five minutes later, Sokka trudges into the dining room with Zuko in tow. Sokka is talking animatedly to Zuko. I don't think Zuko is listening because then Katara appears into the dining room with a large bowl. Sokka shows more interest in the contents of the bowl while Zuko couldn't take his eyes off of, you guessed it, Katara.
Pretty soon, the large, decorative room is full and we all sit down to eat our breakfast, which by the way, smells delicious. Are you jealous?
Sokka, Aang and Haru are laughing about...actually I couldn't tell you, what they are laughing about. It will forever remain a mystery to me. Maybe it is best.
Katara and Zuko are doing their usual act of pretending that they haven't been staring at each like lovesick teenagers…which I forget is what they are….
Let me tell you something. That failed epically. Their eyes are glued to each other during the whole meal. Oh, except for the few times, the trio of Sokka, Aang and Haru manage to contain their laughter and ask Zuko question after question after question.
That really shows some willpower. Note sarcasm. But the rest of the time, they are staring at each other like the world is about to end, which I suppose, is a possibility if Aang doesn't defeat Fire Lord Ozai when Sozin's Comet arrives. But beside that, I think that they were taking this way too seriously.
After breakfast, when everyone goes outside to do whatever it is that they do outside, I hide under the table. In case if you are wondering, I really am enjoying being so deceitful.
Zuko is helping Katara clean the table. I roll my eyes. Honestly, how transparent can the guy actually be? How can I possibly be the only one to realise the importance of this. I really am the only observant person her and people I am blind. Hello!
Anyway, when they arrive back into the dining room, I pop out from underneath the table and shout in apparent worry," I lost my shoe!"
Katara gives me a weird look. "Toph, you don't like wearing shoes because they constrict you."
Darn. I was hoping that she is so busy being a love-struck teenager and all the cliché that entails, she wouldn't notice such a gaping hole in my plan.
I notice something while she told me this. Katara is holding Zuko's hand. Tightly. They seem to come to some realisation that I am aware of their infatuation with each other as they drop one another's hands like they were burnt, which is a constant possibility with Sparky. They immediately jump back into an argument that they had about three weeks ago. Damn. I am so close. Well, back to the drawing board, I suppose.
And really why are they being so clichéd? Ugh.
I tiptoe out of the room while they are in mid-argument to train Aang because I really don't want to hear that crap. At least, when I am finished, I can use the rest of the day for my amazing plan.
Two or so hours later (I really lost track of time), after a good sparring session with Aang, I sink with exhaustion into my comfy perch on the lowest branch of the tree. I think about all the mistakes that Aang made during this training session. Unacceptable. Aang really has improved but also the mistakes he makes are akin to that of a child. Although he has obtained master level remarkably quickly…
Perhaps I am being just overly critical.
When I first started training him, he was hopeless and I am being kind when I say that. Hopeless was the biggest compliment you could give him. But now, he is a master.
I now know, that when they are alone, they are very comfortable with one another. However, when people are around them, it's like they have to prove a point about something. Which is just plain dumb.
They are perfect for each other but they don't know that. They both think there isn't a chance in hell that the other likes them. I realise that this is cliché. Screw clichés! When two people are so perfect for each other, something has to be done about it. Otherwise, it is just a mortal sin.
Okay, enough deep thinking for one day. It really doesn't suit me.
So we have agreed, I am going to sneak everyone out of the house one day before they wake up. At first, they will probably angry at each other or whatever but as the day goes on, they will kiss. First, I am going to 'study' them every day for a week, possibly two and then I will pounce. My plan will be put into action.
First of all, I am sorry I haven't updated a new chapter in ages but I have a good reason. I had 'important' exams to do.
Honesty is always appreciated.
Thank you!
Edit: 9/7/14 Ugh, this is so frustrating. Everything is just so bad! What was I thinking when I updated this chapter? There are mistakes everywhere!
