I slowly opened my eyes, still feeling the heat from the tunnel. It took me awhile to adjust to the sudden change in light. My head felt really heavy, like I just had some sort of heavy dose drug.
"Wait a sec." I heard a male voice.
I saw a light engulf me. As the light diminished, I felt myself feeling better.
My vision cleared as I saw that I was in a completely different place than my class room.
"Where am I?" I asked completely panicking.
"Don't worry." I heard a female voice.
That is when I started to notice things. I was with two other people. One a male and the other a female. They both looked like they just came out of some cosplay.
The male was a hunky dude with golden hair and black eyes. He was almost 6 feet in height. I saw that he had a hammer sheathed on his back. A golden hammer with some patterns and writing on it. He was wearing some weird cape like clothing.
The female was the utmost gorgeous thing I have ever seen. She was a perfection of nature. She was wearing some sort of a fur cloth with blue hoods. She had blonde hair with perfect blue eyes. A nice combination. She had a blue trinket on her forehead.
"Stop staring at me like that." She said to me chuckling.
I turned my gaze away from her blushing.
"What is your name?" The male asked me.
"Where am I?" I asked back as I noticed that I was in a clearing in a forest.
"What is your name?" He repeated sternly.
"I asked where the hell I am." I repeated myself too standing up, "Did you two freaking kidnap me for some kinky deal?"
"What?" They both asked me surprised.
"Well?" I asked when they both didn't give me an answer.
The male sighed and looked at me, "First time having this sort of a reaction." He muttered, "You have just somehow been called on to our world for a battle we pray to God you can win."
I saw a bird emitting fire flying high above.
"What in the world was that?" I asked amused and scared.
"That is Icarus." The male dude said.
"Is this some sort of a dream?" I asked.
"No it isn't. You have been summoned to this world by God himself to save us from the dangers ahead."
"Can you make any sense?" I asked angrily.
"Let me explain." The female said in her sweet voice, "There are two races trying to win a war that have been going on for almost 1000's of years. The two races are The Sentinel and The Scrouge. We both have been fighting an endless war with countless lives lost. Every 5 years God sents a being from another dimension to help us in assisting in the war."
"Why?" I asked, "Why me?"
"Don't ask me." The female said shrugging.
"So will you help us or not?" The male asked.
"First of all, I have no idea how to fight." I said, "Second of all, just sent me back."
"We can't do that. This is God's wish." The male said.
"Just freaking sent me back." I cried and fell down on my knees.
I have no idea how I was going to survive in this freaking world. Being an orphan I had not much going on out there on my dimension, but still I had no intention of making my foster parents worried. They are good people who took me after my parents died in a car accident.
"Hey." The female came over to me and rubbed my cheeks. Her hands where really cold, like dead cold. "Don't cry. What Omni means is that we have no idea how to sent you back."
"That is not what I meant, and you know it." The male, who I suppose is Omni said stubbornly.
I rubbed the tears from my eyes, "Why are you called Omni?"
"I think we missed the introductions." Omni said, "My name is Omniknight, or Purist Thunderwrath for some."
"My name is Rylai." The female said taking her dead cold hands from my face. I was slightly disappointed, "What is your name?"
"My name is Shyam." I said.
"Strange name to have here." Omniknight said.
"Just come to my dimension and you can see how strange your name is out there." I retorted angrily.
"You really are getting on my nerves." Omni said angrily.
A sudden explosion stopped him and me from doing whatever we planned to do.
"They are here." Omni said.
I heard another explosion.
"Take him to base." Omni said to Rylai, "I will fend them off."
He pulled the hammer from behind him. A golden aura was surrounding it.
"Come." Rylai said taking my hand and starting to run. Her hands where colder now.
I looked at her confused.
I turned back to see Omniknight disappear into the woods.
"What was those explosion?" I asked.
"They are mines placed by one of the Sentinel." Rylai said letting my hand go.
"Are you not going to help him?" I asked turning back again.
But I couldn't see Omni.
"Don't worry. He have Icarus." Rylai said proudly.
I heard a Whizzzzz sound as I felt a sudden pain in my shoulder as something pierced through it.
"No." I heard Rylai's terrified voice, "Kael."
