Chapter 1
Waste of space

A sigh escaped the young pinkettes rosey red lips as she walked the halls to her home room class in building C. She didn't see why they had to have multiple buildings and stories in this school, it seemed like a waste of space compared to her junior high building where the first story was 7th graders and the second story was 8th graders and that was it beside the electives building. Sakura took her sweet time at getting to her class, and found it didn't matter anyway because the teacher wasn't even there.

Emerald eyes rolled as she maneuvered through the desks of annoying preps swooning over the seniors they had seen this morning, Naruto calling duck-ass a bastard, and a Kiba, Shino, and Hinata all talking about their summers breaks. Finally in the back she took a seat, her messenger bag sliding off her shoulder and to the floor as she got comfortable, staring at the same people she had seen since elementary school. A tap to her shoulder made Sakura jump slightly, turning toward a kid about her age with midnight black hair that was all over the place as though he had just woken up and an eyepatch. She raised a slender eyebrow at the eyepatch but said nothing.

"Tobi's name is Tobi! May Tobi sit here?" The 'Tobi' as he called himself pointed to the seat next to her. She merely shrugged and turned back toward the front.

'It's not like we own the damn seat he didn't have to ask.' A voice scoffed lightly inside Sakura's head making her smirk slightly.

'True,' She offered to the voice just as lightly. "But it was nice of him to ask.' She could feel her inner roll her eyes which made her smile.

"What's pretty ladies name?" She blinked at the sound of Tobi's voice, her face flushing slightly when she realized he was talking to and about her.

"My name is Sakura, Sakura Haruno. And I'm not pretty." The slight roll of her eyes made him chuckle.

"Tobi's name is Tobi, Tobi Uchiha!" Her head whipped to the side to stare at the male, she'd be surprised if she hadn't given herself whiplash from the small movement. The male was pointing to duck-ass Uchiha with an innocent grin. "That's my cousin Sas-"

"Sasuke, I know." She sighed lightly. Said male turned at the sound of his name, glaring his signiture glare at her and Tobi, doing nothing to scare them seeing as they both just stared at him. Tobi was waving with all his might to his beloved cousin while Sakura just glared right back. Sasuke and Sakura had an unspoken truths between eachother after their prank war of 6th grade. Deal was he doesn't mess with her, she doesn't mess with him. Naruto pulled his attention back and the glaring contest was over almost as quickly as it had started and Sakura finally realized that Tobi had been talking to her.

"-And then you could meet the rest of Tobi's friends! Tobi's sure they'll like you!" He bounced around in his seat, as though waiting for her to answer some question she hadn't heard. Tobi stopped bouncing and cocked his head to the side in confusion. "So? Will blossom come sit with Tobi and his friends at lunch?" A small smile tugged at her lips and she just rolled her eyes.

"I don't know Tobi. If I see you at lunch then I'll sit with you." He seemed happy to here that, but little did he know she would be doing everything to stay out of his sites and everyone else. She was glad she brought her own food today so she could skip the cafeteria entirely. The bell rang and Sakura scooped up her bag quickly and slipped into the crowd at the door, losing Tobi in the process. Not like she cared anyway.

Math was her second class for the day, a class she all to well hated. Not because she wasn't good at it, no she was perfectly fine at it, she just hated showing her work when she didn't have to to get the answer to the problem. It never seemed good enough to teachers that she had the correct answer but she didn't prove it. She was surprised when the teacher, a woman named Anko, gave out a math quiz within the first five minutes of class, put she decided she didn't mind because the teacher told them she didn't give a damn if they showed their work at all. Sakura decided right away that she liked this teacher. The class went by fast, no interruption except from a boy, whom she had to do a double take to see that he was not in fact Ino Yamanaka, who asked her for a pencil. She noted that the pencil borrowing male, whom sat in front of her, was actually a little attractive with his long and flowing blonde hair and his eyes that reminded her of the sky during the summer, just before the sun starts to set.

History appeared to be run by the same man from homeroom class seeing as when she found herself late, after running around the waste of space hallways, it didn't matter because the man was once again not there. Sakura only did the normal thing and headed for the back of the class, sitting next to a rather bored looking redhead, whom she could easily mistake as Gaara, with hazel eyes, that seemed to be following her, but she'll never know that. Upon her sitting down she pulled an ipod from the confines of her skinny jeans and easily plugged in her Hello Kitty earphones. Just as she was getting into the song 'Whispers in the Dark' by Skillet she felt an earbud pop from her ear. Looking to her right she saw the redhead put the earbud in his own ear. "Nice choice." After hearing his praise she couldn't bring herself to be mad and instead shared the music with her fellow man with good taste, she dubbed him cool in her book. The bell rang signaling the end of class and start of lunch, pulling out her earbud from his ear the male handed it to her with a light smirk. "Sasori, Sasori Akasuna. See you around Blossom." With that he disaperred into the halls and away from the ever blushing Sakura.

Sakura quickly snapped out of her stupor and realized she had to some how avoid the ball of hyper known as Tobi. She sprinted the opposite way from the cafeteria and into the next building, only to run smack dab into Tobi, successfully knocking the two of them over. Sakura sat, straddling the poor Tobi Who only looked up at her as though he had been called a 'Bad Boy' from his to get off of Tobi she finally stood, her hand held out to Tobi as a sign of forgiveness and peace.

"I am so sorry Tobi, really I am. I wasn't looking where I was going." Her face flushed red with embarrassment as the boy took her hand, almost pulling her over just by standing up.

"It's okay, Tobi's a good boy and is glad blossom didn't get hurt is all!" He beamed and she couldn't help but smile back. "Now that Tobi found you we can go to lunch and meet Tobi's friends!" He left no room for objection when he grabbed her hand and sped off, dragging her right behind him. It took a long five minutes of tugging and third person talking before Sakura was shoved in front of a group of male, two she had already met, one she has known since childhood, and three she had yet to meet. To say Sakura was dazed was an understatement, everyone, and I mean everyone, at that table was attractive, well at least to her that is. "Guys, this is Sakura! Sakura this is the guys!" She offered a small wave, face flushing slightly.

"So that's your name." Sasori smirked once again, making her heart thump hard against her ribs. "Hi, I'm Deidara, yeah." The blonde from her math class grinned, waving a hand that had an odd looking mouth drawn onto it. "Sakura." Itachi, a male with long black hair and beautiful obsidian eyes nodded to her in a friendly manner, having known her since she was 8 and he 10. "Name's Kisame pinky, don't forget it." A man with dark blue mused hair said with a rumbling voice that made her want to quiver, but not from fear. "Hidan's the name bitch." He eyebrow twitched with irritation from the words of the silver haired man. She merely rolled her eyes at his shit eating grin."Zetsu." The last table occupant told her, looking at her cooly from behind mused grass green hair, amber eyes captivating her somewhat.

Sakura watched as Tobi eagerly took a seat next to Deidara, screaming SEMPIA! She merely shook her head and sat beside Itachi, feeling more familiar with him than the others. Itachi merely gave her a small glance before talking to Kisame. They seemed to talk among themselves, leaving her to each her lunch in peace. It was halfway through lunch when it happened, Sasuke walked past with Naruto, glaring at me and Itachi the moment he saw us. He stopped beside the table, still glaring, gaining the attention of not only our table but the ones around us.

"Duck-ass" Sakura's eyes widened slightly when she heard what inner slipped through her mouth. She continued to glare at him though, to mask her surprise.

"Haruno." Sasuke's eyebrow ticked in irritation at the nickname inner had given him in 5th grade. Just as he was about to leave, he accidentally, spilled his red Gatorade onto the front of her white short sleeved over shirt. She stared at him, mouth hung open.

"If that's how you want to play, you got it." Inner Sakura snarled through Sakura's red lips, standing up and stripping off her white shirt, thanking god she had worn a black and grey stripped long sleeve shirt under it. The truths was off and the both of them knew it. Fire lit in her emerald orbs and Naruto squeaked, latching onto Sasuke and dragging him from my wrath, something the idiot blonde had known from years of friendship with the girl. Sakura sat back down after throwing away her forever stained white shirt, turning toward Itachi who only had a smirk on his face.

"And here I thought you two were passed that." His remark made the other occupants raise eyebrows at him.

"What're you talking about Itachi, yeah?" Deidara inquired, interested in what exactly brought on what happened.

"Sasuke and I hate each other. During the beginning of 6th grade he pored chocolate milk in my hair, so to get back at him I super glued his ass to a chair in math. for the whole year we pranked each other until we decided enough was enough after getting in trouble. We've had a truce since then but I guess its over and he's going to pay!" She growled out the last part, she licked that shirt. Kisame's laugh broke her out of her stupor over her lost shirt. Looking toward him she barked. "What're you laughing at Sharkie!?" He only laughed harder, making her grind her teeth in irritation until he stopped and patted her on the head, musing her waist length wavy hair.

"Let's get back at him." She blinked up at him innocently as he offered to help. "I do love some good pranking." The others around the table agreeded and Sakura felt that she was on cloud nine.'Watch out Sasuke, we're coming for you!' inner grinned wildly as they began forming a plan to meet up after school and discuss how to retaliate.

The rest of the school day went by in a blur of thoughts pertaining to Sasuke and the sexy men who offered their hand in his demise and she hoped that one of those plans let her shave off his hideous duck-ass hairstyle.
