Chapter 2: UA Entrance Exam

Horiyuki was on his way to his house, since he needed to get ready for the UA Entrance Exam in about 10 months. He took a left, and went straight down to find his house. He walked onto the doorstep, twisted the handle, and opened the door. He was found by his interior, which consisted of a flat screen TV, A dirty tan/gray couch, a statue of liberty (Small), his room, and a portal he made to hop in and out of places. It was normal for him, but not for others. It wasn't long into reading his book about a boy finding some orange balls that he remembered to do something. It was something important… He was in his last year of middle school… His teacher said something about becoming a hero… 2 Boys wanted to attend some school, and he wanted to attend that school too… He need to… HE NEEDED TO APPLY FOR U.A. AND TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY!! Before getting ready for the entrance exam you have to apply first!

Horiyuki got onto his laptop, loaded up Google Chrome, and searched for "ua entrance" And up came a bunch of results. One of the results were "University of Arizona Admissions". That wasn't it. He scrolled down quite a bit, coming to no results about the High school.

He scrolled.

And scrolled.

And scrolled for so long it felt like hours. Right when he was going to sleep he reached the bottom of the page, Where he found what he was looking for. He jumped up in excitement, rolling on the floor, being obnoxious in most eyes, crying in joy. He checked his phone. It was 11:56. He had been scrolling for an hour. He hopped up, and got to work. Some hassle to get here.

Horiyuki had finished applying in 2 minutes, and thanks to his ability to write without thinking, He had finished even 2 Admissions. Just to be sure. Horiyuki looked at the time, and it was 12:58. He was on time. He wasn't late. For the first time in forever… He just sighed a himself then looked happy. He was gonna like this.

The Next Day

Horiyuki Got up and walked to school. he lived pretty far away, but since he had that tremendous speed, he got there in about 40 minutes. He opened the door to his Middle school, Took a few turns and went upstairs. He was greeted with a bunch of kids just being as they usually were, and just sat down. Some kids were being obnoxious, typical boy attitude, and some were actually paying attention. He ignored it and started taking notes. He looked to the side, towards the windows, and noticed something… The two boys who were getting into arguments all the time weren't here. Maybe the blonde haired guy killed him already. Well, it was fun while it lasted, his life, that is. He overheard some boys talking to one another, one eyeing the door like someone was gonna come in. he decided to do the same. A few minutes pass, and noone comes through. He looks away for a second, and a guy with green hair walks in. the whole class went silent. What happened?

He decides to ask someone why the class went silent. The boy didn't answer. That was irritating him. He just leaves the situation to the pros, and continues taking notes. The boy sits down, taking out something from his backpack and starts… Squeezing it? I don't know, Horiyuki doesn't know, what the hell. Horiyuki takes time to gaze at the boy, and then he asks a question.

"Hey, what are you doing? The Teacher is giving a lesson." Horiyuki asks, trying not to get the other guy in trouble. The other kid in question would just bounce up and shiver at the statement or question. He answers back.

"Umm…." Deku tries to answer frantically. His worried voiced caught the attention of the teacher. The teacher stares at him.

Deku could feel the gaze, his teachers eyes burning through him. He looked back in horror, only to see that it was actually Bakugou, irritated that the nerd was interrupting the lesson. How dare he??? Bakugou started blowing explosions in his hands, disrupting everybody.

"Bakugou, stop what you are doing and head to the principles office." the Teacher said.

"No!! This bastard just interrupted the lesson! Here i am trying to be great, meanwhile this piece of who-knows-what is messing up my style"

Everyone just laughed and pointed as midoriya frantically tried to get out the situation. Horiyuki got up in front of Bakugou's Face and started explaining.

"What do you want Pockethead??" Bakugou screeched.

"I want you to stop acting like a clown in class, blondie." Horiyuki shot back Bakugou glared at the boy, but knew what his quirk was so he settled down a little bit. That still didn't stop him from being a distraction. Bakugou regained his confidence, but didn't punch anyone. Just spit on them. Their shoes, i mean. Horiyuki just went up to the teachers desk to scrape it off. Deku didn't want any problem with the guy so he figured he would just wash it when he goes home. It would be dry by then and his shoes would smell like fried eggs and salami.

As soon as school got over, Horiyuki went straight to his free server-hosting website for anime. (Not sponsored). He spent hours watching Kuroko no Basuke, and then went to Attack on Titan S3 Part 2. There wasn't any new episodes at the time, so he just shut his laptop down and went for a stroll. There he found buildings he thought were cool, so he'd draw them. He liked to draw, and although he wasn't too good at drawing, he still liked to do it in his free-time. He turned and sat to look at the beach, filled with trash, as always. But something was out of place. Everytime he took this route to go to the coffee shop, it looked as though it was getting exponentially smaller. He squinted his eyes, and you wouldn't believe why he gasped. Midoriya was there! That scrawny kid with no quirk was actually moving the trash! Horiyuki could always do it, but he didn't, as it kinda felt like a monument to him, then there's this kid just up and moving parts of his monument. It was like tearing apart the Golden Gate Bridge, fast!! Horiyuki decided to watch the boy and draw him, since he could just look at the building in his laptop. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see some middle schooler doing something about the beach. Horiyuki looked at the boy and back to his booklet for hours, each hour getting a new clump of trash token out. From afar, it wasn't really that much of a change, but it was still worth it.

This has been going on for about 9 months and a few weeks. The 13.28 Acres full-of-trash beach, was actually looking like a better monument then before. If anything, Horiyuki would say it was… pretty. Pretty cool. Horiyuki got up and finished his 200th page in his notebook, pages running out. He had only about 10 pages left, so he decided to make the most of it. He took the 10 pages, glued them together, and Wrote… Nothing. Yet. 'what should i write here?' he wondered. He wanted to show his Art teacher without invading the privacy of Midoriya any further.

Then he got it.

He put: "One in a Million." on it, bold letters and everything. Horyuki grabbed the pages he drew Izuku on, and pasted it in a sequencing order, showing his developing muscles and how fast he was moving at the time. It was perfect, Horiyuki thought. He wouldn't make copies cause although it was AWESOME, he didn't want anybody figuring out who the boy was and invade his privacy.

2 weeks later

Midoriya was getting ready to leave his house when his mom suddenly came up into the front door screeching. Midoriya asked what was wrong and In no just stayed silent for a while. Midoriya got a little irritated and went on to go. Inko didn't let that happen as she instinctively ran and gave her son a hug. Midoriya, a little surprised, didn't really care, cause it was him mom. He gave her a hug and Inko said some words Izuku would never forget on his journey to become the greatest hero.

"Be-Be safe, Izuku. I love you" is what came out her mouth. izuku saw this coming and gave her his usual grin. He assured her that he would be OK, and soon after seconds that felt like hours, Izuku went off out the door, to the UA Academy Entrance Test. He thought of all the short-comings he's had with All Might, his favorite hero, the journey of lifting things off the beach, and finally now, where he would be a hero. He knew it, he would become the greatest hero after all might. He was his successor after all.

Izuku reached the front gates after a few minutes. There he saw the doors, and everyone leaving the outdoors to go to the indoors. Izuku smiled in amazement, and walked with content. He was walking, and walking, running at some point, and ran to the cement walls.

Horiyuki, also was running on the scene. He was happy to become a hero, and save his brother from darkness, and as much as I hate to say it, he felt like the MC of this story. Horiyuki stayed in the front gates, waiting for it to open. The people watching gave the rules in a matter of seconds, and soon, the front was making a sound. The doors opened.

Horiyuki got sweaty.

His heart started racing.

Horiyuki just ran.

To the path of the Hero.

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope this is enough to satisfy your hunger for new stories, cause after this, I'm gonna spend a few weeks on my own. Then, I'll start working on Wait an in the Land of Fire. See ya!
