Chapter 2 : Old Enemies
Synopsis : Sasha and Naruto returned to Leaf Village, as they brought bad news with them. How will they all react to this information? Aka Ookami and Kyubi now try to reach their host when they stumble across some difficulties.........

JUTSU LIST
- Kagemane no Jutsu - Shadow Copy Skill : Allows the user to control their own shadow, changing it to any shape they wish, and extending/shortening it inside a certain radius. When the shadow contacts the opponents shadow, it combines the two, making the opponent do anything the user does. The shadow can also latch onto multiple targets Yet, the jutsu has a time limit.
- Byakugan - White Eyes: This jutsu is activated in the eyes, much like the Sharingan. Sharingan actually developed from Byakugan. This jutsu allows the user's vision to become 360 degrees. The user is able to see fully around them, and all their surroundings. Byakugan also has the ability to see objects, and view the inner coil system of a person's body, and in advanced cases, the Chakra Holes. Using this, the user can attack the inner organs of a person, and do high amounts of damage.

Sasha took a step forward since she heard the low question Hokage had let out.
"He allied himself with someone powerful, another great ninja" Sasha answered
Hokage immediately stared at the female, as he wanted to know more.
"Allied? Who could possibly ally with Shiraku?" Hokage asked in disbelief
Naruto hesitated to answer as he looked to Sasha to know if he should be the one to announce the bad news.
"He allied himself with someone that hates this Village as much as Shiraku does. Also, they want immortality and both seemed to nearly accomplish that ........." Sasha started as Naruto stepped forward to finish it
"Shiraku allied himself with Orochimaru ........." Naruto finished

The moment Naruto mentioned the name of Orochimaru, Hokage's pipe fell on the ground, as his eyes widened.
"Orochimaru........." Hokage repeated as the information started to sink in
"That's why we came here." Sasha commented
"You should pick that off the floor before it starts a fire old man" Naruto commented with a smile while he pointed to the floor
Hokage kept quiet, as he kneeled to take hold of his pipe and place it on his desk.

*Konoha's Entrance Gates*
---Watch Tower---
A few ninjas were posted to watch the gates when they sensed strange chakra coming their way.
"Do you sense it?" The shinobi asked
The second shinobi leaned over the ledge and focused on the forest where a pair of red eyes and whites dots glowed in the shadows.
"Get and the Anbu here now!" The other shinobi ordered
The shinobi nodded, as he vanished from sight, as the other scanned closely the area with his eyes, while he waited for the Anbu team to arrive.
---Ground Level, In the Shadows---
The fox looked over at the wolf, as he wondered what they should do, since they were well aware that soon they would be surrounded by many shinobis.
"Remind me why we came here?" Kyubi asked
"Because our hosts are here as well" Aka answered as he stared at the lone shinobi in the guard tower
"I suppose we can't just make our way through?" Kyubi asked but already knew the answer
"I doubt the old hag would appreciate that" Aka confirmed
"That idiot brat better come here soon then" Kyubi commented as he licked his lips
"Just remember not to go berserk stupid ferret" Aka commented
"Same applies to you stupid dog" Kyubi shot back at the wolf
Both continued to quarrel in silence, as they saw the shinobi was no longer alone in the tower.
---Watch Tower---
The shinobi that had left, came back with two teams of Anbu and a few Juunins accompanied them.
"What's the situation?" A dark haired Anbu asked
"There's something there. We didn't interfere because the chakra isn't like the others." The shinobi replied
"Kiba, can Akamaru confirm from here?" The dark haired shinobi indirectly ordered the Juunin
Kiba was now a talk young adult, as his dog Akamaru had grown up a bit. Due to Akamaru's still small size, he still managed to crawl on Kiba whenever he wanted, which made the duo very useful during missions.
Kiba was now mostly dressed in black, but had the Juunin vest over his black vest, which usually hid a sleeping Akamaru. He wore long black pants, with his holster on the right leg. His headband was wrapped around his neck, just like a dog collar.
Kiba looked at his faithful companion as the dog barked in approval. Akamaru sniffed the air and it didn't take long for him to return on his master's head and whine.
"Definitely two different chakras. But they seem strange." Kiba translated Akamaru's barks
"How strange?" The dark shinobi asked
"The two charkas are strong but 2 weaker chakra seem to be in them as well" Kiba replied
The dark haired Shinobi thought for a moment, when he turned towards the other Juunin that accompanied Kiba. Shikamaru Nara.
The boy had quickly advanced to Juunin level thanks to his high intelligence, but even now being an adult, he still preferred to wear those clothes than that strange chuunin vest.
"I say, you, me, Kiba and Neji go in first, followed by the rest for back up." Shikamaru offered
"Hmmm, I'm surprised you included yourself in the first group." Neji commented behind his Anbu mask, leader of the second Anbu team present on site
Neji was now a tall man with longer hair tied behind his back. He wore the traditional black Anbu outfit, as the mask that covered his face looked like a cat. So even with the mask on, he could execute his bloodline without any trouble.
"I want their exact position" The other Anbu leader demanded
Neji nodded, as he joined his hands together to activate his Byakugan to see the two distinct figures who hid themselves within the bushes.
"Once we're on the ground level, they'll be 15 meters to the North-East." Neji confirmed
The dark haired shinobi gave out the orders, as himself, Shikamaru, Kiba, with Akamaru, and Neji were the first to go to the ground level, as they carefully scanned their surroundings.
---Ground Level---
The wolf sniffed the air, while the fox had an evil grin upon his lips, while they both observed carefully the four shinobis near them.
"They could be a problem" Aka let out
"Afraid?" Kyubi teased
"Iie, but they worry me. It's best to evade them to get to our hosts." Aka suggested
"Although I usually disagree with your way of thinking, the one behind the Anbu masks worry me." Kyubi commented
"I agree, so save your energy and follow me" Aka requested from the fox
Aka Ookami led the way, as the fox, followed the wolf despite he didn't like the idea of taking orders. Aka silently crawled behind the bushes as the fox followed him, when the young shinobis voices caught their attention and immediately stopped any movement.
"They changed of position." Neji informed them as his eyes scanned the area with an activated Byakugan
"Find them" The dark haired boy ordered
"Right there!" Neji stated as he threw a kunai through the bushes
Aka barely had time to take a step back when the kunai landed before his paws, while his butt almost met Kyubi's face.
"Watch it!" The fox growled as he took several steps back to evade the wolf's butt
Kyubi hadn't noticed that his growl was quite loud, until the voices of came closer.
"It's your move" The Anbu leader spoke as he pointed towards the kunai's direction
Kiba nodded as he vanished from sight with Akamaru on his shoulder. Shikamaru placed his hands together as he waited for the suspects to come out, while Neji kept an eye out to make sure of their enemies position.
"Where did dog boy go?" Kyubi asked as his eyes and nose scanned the area around them
"It's not nice to call me dog boy" The voice came form behind them
Kiba and Akamaru stood behind the two demons as they didn't waste time charged forward, to get the demons out of their hiding place and towards his comrades.
"Get the pup, I got the brat" Kyubi quickly said as he charged forward to meet Kiba's attack
The moment Kyubi jumped into the air to meet Kiba's attack, he also revealed his position as well what he looked like. Aka had no other choice but to tackle Akamaru to protect his pride as a wolf.
"What the hell are those?" The Anbu leader let out in surprise
"We better give dog boy a hand before he gets killed" Neji let out as he prepared to join the battle
The Anbu gave sign, as Shikamaru concentrated, waiting for the right moment to activate his main Jutsu, while Neji waited for the right time to get into the fight.
On his side, Kiba evaded the claws of Kyubi, but the group were still unaware that they were actually fighting Kyubi and Aka Ookami. As soon as their feet reached the ground, they pounced back up to go at it again, as Kyubi's paw met up with Kiba's jaw.
After nearly getting his head ripped off, Kyubi and Kiba landed on the ground with a certain force as they stared into each others eyes.
"What the hell are these things?!" Kiba whined as he whipped off the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand
"Go help Akamaru. Get the other one on the ground." Shikamaru ordered as he finally formed his jutsu
Kiba nodded but still didn't let his guard down due to the enemy he faced. The fox took a few steps forward, until something caught his attention.
"Where's this chakra coming from?" Kyubi asked himself before it was too late
Kyubi leaned his head towards the right to look behind him when he saw a familiar hand seals. His eyes widened when he felt he couldn't move anymore.
"Seem like I managed to use my Kagemane No Jutsu. All that's left is your friend" Shikamaru stated as he held the fox in place
Shikamaru had been able to use his well known Kagemane No Jutsu the moment the fox let his guard down and only concentrated on Kiba. Kyubi could barely move but managed to lean his head to watch his so called ally.
The fight between Akamaru and Aka Ookami was intense but without any tricks. Both attacked with claws and canines although Aka was more dangerous than the dog itself.
Both dogs landed on their paws, as the growled at each other, although Aka was more aggressive. This time, Aka ran towards a tree that was on the left of Akamaru. The chase was on as Akamaru ran after the wolf, unaware of what was about to happen.
"Dogs are so predictable" Aka let out with a smile
Aka stomped the ground as he seemed to be attacking the tree itself. Once his paws met with the trunk, he gave it enough force for him to pounce right back to face head on the dog.
Aka's paw connected with Akamaru's jaw, as he gave him a hard slaw, sending the dog to the ground. Akamaru laid on his side, as he tried to lift himself up before Aka's canines wrapped themselves around his delicate neck.
Akamaru immediately stopped moving, as he felt the canines slowly enter his flesh and whined form the slight pain it caused him. Kiba's eyes widened as he couldn't save his long time companion.
"Akamaru!" Kiba yelled out as he didn't move anymore
Aka stood his ground, as he showed his canines even more with a very angry look and growled towards the four shinobis.
"If you wish to die that much, then we won't hold back any longer" Aka stated as he glared at the young shinobis
With that sentence said, Aka's eyes met those of Kyubi's, as if he gave him the go to do wild on them. Kyubi couldn't help but smile, as he gathered more of his chakra to aid him to break the jutsu on him.
Red chakra gathered at the fox's paws as the shadow seemed to have trouble staying on the demon.
"Shika! You Kagemane is suppose to hold him still!" Kiba yelled out
"I'm not low on chakra. I don't know why he can move ........." Shikamaru explained, as Kyubi started to move his paws and turned around to face the group with a deadly glare and growled
Aka remained in his position with Akamaru in his jaw, as they waited for the shinobis to make the first move.
"What do we do?" Neji asked as his focus was on the fox
All three stared at the dark haired Anbu, and waited for his decision on the matter.

*Hokage Tower*
Hokage paid attention to Naruto and Sasha had to say to him about the situation Konoha might have to face.
"What are their plans?" Hokage asked
"Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. They want Konoha's complete destruction, along with your death and ours mostly. I'm also guessing Orochimaru still wants Sasuke's body." Naruto explained
As Hokage prepared to ask yet another question, Sasha's head leaned towards the window.
"What is it?" Naruto asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder
"Kyubi's chakra just went berserk" Sasha replied as she stared at the far away entrance gate
"Old man! How many shinobis are at the watch tower?" Naruto asked
"Two, but if something's wrong, two Anbu teams will show up" Hokage answered
"My guess is, they were found, and as much as they try to hold back, they're still demons. They won't be able to hold back their thirst for blood for long" Sasha stated with worry
"Are you saying those demons are loose?" Hokage asked in confusion
Before either of them would answer, Sasha rushed out of the room as she headed towards where she felt the chakra of Kyubi. Naruto stared for a moment as he rushed out as well but stopped when he reached the doorframe.
"If we don't get to them before the Anbu simply attacks them, then you'll be planning a funeral for them" Naruto replied as he continued to chase after Sasha.
"Did I really make a wise decision to let those two roam free in the world?" Hokage asked himself, as he summoned an Anbu team within his chambers
Three Anbu with cat masks appeared before in the room, as Hokage gave out specific orders to them with a very serious tone and look.
"I need you to gather the Juunins in my office as soon as possible. A team comes with me to the watch towers at the entrance gates." Hokage ordered as he lifted his hand in the air and brought it back down
Two of the Anbu vanished as smoke was left from where they were earlier. The remaining Anbu came closer to Hokage, in search of an answer to why these orders were being given out.
"You'll know the truth at the same time as everyone else" Hokage let out before he started to walk out of his chambers
The Anbu nodded, as he followed Hokage without a word, to their next destination, the entrance gates.

*Entrance Gates*
---Ground Level---
Kiba was very angry, as Akamaru let out some whines which only Kiba could understand. The dog was sacred and in slight pain before he was within the mouth of a wolf.
Shikamaru was still shocked that his Kagemane was defeated so easily, as they had underestimated their enemies. The dark haired boy stepped forward as he prepared to make his move.
"I suppose you don't care what happens to this thing in my mouth" Aka mumbled as his tongue licked the fur ball's neck
The Anbu leader gave sign to Shikamaru and Neji t draw out a kunai, as he, himself drew one out and pointed it towards the two creatures.
"Hey! What about Akamaru!?" Kiba yelled out in worry for his companion
"Trust me" The dark haired Anbu replied with confidence
Kiba was speechless but trusted the Anbu's moves at the risk of perhaps loosing his beloved partner. Shikamaru and Neji only waited for The leader to give out the order.
"Are they really going to try and attack us?" Kyubi asked
"Guess fur ball isn't important to them" Aka replied
Kyubi stepped forward as he was ready to face off the Anbu who's identity still remained hidden because of the mask he wore.
"Let me fight him alone, if the others interfere in any way, then I guess you found supper." Kyubi commented much to Kiba's disgust
Aka let out a growl, as his attention turned towards the remaining 2 Juunins and the Anbu that led the second team.
The Anbu took another step forward as he then charged directly at the fox. Kyubi grinned, as he stood still, while his ears twitched a little as if he heard a noise.
As the Anbu threw his kunai towards the fox, a loud sound of metal was heard, as the Anbu's kunai landed before his feet. His head lowered momentarily to notice his kunai had been deflected by another metal object. He returned his gaze before him, as two hooded figures stood between himself and the two demons.
"You sure took you damn time!" Kyubi growled at the figures before him
Kiba and Shikamaru were shocked to see now they had more trouble but then they looked over at the Anbu leader and Neji.
"It's been a while. Uzumaki Naruto" Neji spoke out loud with a smile
Naruto removed the hood that covered his head as he confirmed to his old friends that he was indeed who Neji said he was.
As the Anbu leader seemed surprise, the Hokage finally made it there as the Anbu who accompanied him took a defensive position the moment he noticed the demon fox who stood behind the two shadows.
"You'll have to explain yourself after this" Hokage informed the boy
"Hai hai" Naruto said as Sasha removed her hood as well
Then the Anbu took another step forward as this one seemed a bit shocked and confused.
"Dobe?" The Anbu let out
"Nice to see you too bastard" Naruto replied to his old rival
Sasuke removed his mask to reveal his Sharingan had been activated. His hair had become longer as he highly resembled his older brother, Itachi. But he still had that face who held no expression.
Silence came as they both stared at each other without once moving or speaking. Sasha noticed this and simply rolled her eyes.
"You two aren't going to kiss again are you?" Sasha broke the silence
Both boys stopped staring at each other as their gaze fell upon the young female instead. Hokage simply slapped his frehead, as Kiba's jaw almost dropped to the ground. Neji lifted and eyebrow as Shikamaru sighed.
"Don't tell me since class this became a habit" Shikamaru remembered when they had accidentally kissed in front of the whole class when they were younger
"HELL NO!!!" Both boys yelled out at the same time while they glared at their friend
"This is going to be troublesome........." Shikamaru let out as he waved his hands in front of him to defend himself
Everyone was caught up in the one sentence Sasha said as they forgot about poor Akamaru that was still held captive within the canines of Aka Ookami.
"Akamaru!" Kiba yelled out as he rushed towards his companion
Sasha then looked behind her to notice what was this so called Akamaru the annoying Juunin kept yelling about.
"Tell your stupid wolf to let go of him!" Kiba ordered her as he showed his fists
Sasha 's expression turned to being angry as Naruto saw this and immediately advised Kiba to calm down before he said anything more.
"Trust me man, you don't' want to piss her off right now" Naruto warned his old friend
Sasha glared at the boy for several seconds, until she turned around to then kneel in front of her demon companion and caressed him behind the ears.
"Aka, put that thing down before he gives you any flees." Sasha requested from him
The fox let out a little laugh as he was amused how Sasha could still order him around. But he then remembered that to argue with a female wasn't a very good idea either.
Aka removed his canines from Akamaru's neck and then sat down as the dog didn't take long to run into his master's arms. Sasha then stood back up and turned towards the rest of the people.
"Care to explain?" Hokage asked as his eyes remained on the two demons
"Oh? You mean them?" Naruto pointed at Kyubi and Aka Ookami
"Yes." Hokage replied seriously
Aka walked next to Sasha, as Kyubi made it's way towards Hokage. Immediately, the Anbu stood between the Kyubi and Hokage, but Hokage lifted his hand.
"Step aside, it's quite alright" Hokage advised the Anbu
"But Hokage-sama........." The Anbu started to object
The Anbu objected as he turned to meet the serious eyes of the Hokage. The Anbu gulped as he slowly stepped aside to let the demon pass.
"The third correct?" Kyubi wanted to confirm
"Hai" Hokage replied
"I'm surprised an old geezer like yourself can be Hokage" Kyubi teased with a grin as he was centimeters away from the Hokage's face
"Do those words come from you or did Naruto rub off his attitude on you?" Hokage shot back at the demon with a little smile
Kyubi's smile faded as his eyes showed he was angry by the Hokage's words. Immediately, Naruto rushed towards his long time companion as he wrapped his arms around the demon's neck to pull him back and away from Hokage.
"This isn't the time to try and kill the old man" Naruto whispered into Kyubi's ear
"As if the thought hadn't crossed my mind........." Kyubi sarcastically said as he rolled his eyes
"I guess that he's Kyubi who was sealed inside you?" Neji asked but already knew the answer
"Hai, although he's a pain in the ass!" Naruto commented as he rubbed the back of his head
The fox's headed stared up to meet Naruto's eyes, as Sasha simply slapped her forehead, while Aka Ookami lowered his head and couldn't believe they were at it again.
"Listen up old man, as much as I like the reunion, we got stuff to take care of and some you need to hear about." Naruto started as Sasha took a step forward to finish his sentence
"Gather those that were present last time, as well as those you fit important enough to share this new information with." Sasha requested from the Hokage
"Hokage-sama? What is going on?" Neji asked a bit concerned
"Neji, I'd appreciate it if you, Kiba, Shikamaru and Sasuke would gather the former members of the following teams. Team 7, Team 8 and, Team 9 and Team 10. And while you can, please get Iruka-sensei, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to see you Naruto." Hokage ordered the Juunins and Anbu leaders
The group nodded as they understood they should hurry up to gather their former friends to Hokage's chambers.
"By the way, your dog's lucky that Aka didn't kill him." Sasha stated as her eyes were locked with Kiba's
"Lucky?" Neji repeated the words, a bit curious to the answer they would obtain
"Aka's natural instincts are to kill first and then escape. Lucky for you, he was aware of the treaty between ourselves and Hokage." Sasha finished to explain as Aka gave a deadly glare at the dog
"Your damn dog is lucky that I didn't go kick his ass!" Kiba replied as his dog barked back
Upon hearing the name dog thrown at him, Aka stood up on his paws, growled angrily and showed his canines. His eyes showed the rage build up within the wolf, as he was prepared to kill the boy right there and now.
"Calm down Aka. You can't expect much form such weakling humans like him and that thing in his arms" Kyubi interefered as he stood between the boy and the wolf
"NANI!?" Kiba yelled out
Naruto stepped forward as well, as Sasha placed a hand on Aka's back to calm him down.
"It's not wise to provoke a demon" Sasha commented as she reached into her pouch
All eyes were fixed on them, while Neji and Shikamaru prepared themselves to take out their kunais, when Sasuke gave them a sign to not to.
"Kiba. Akamaru's fine. Stop whining and get going" Sasuke ordered the Juunin
Kiba growled a little as he stood down. Naruto was relieved, as Aka still had a grudge over what he was referred to.
"Dobe. Make sure you explain them as well later" Sasuke warned the blond as he pointed to the demons
"Don't call me that you bastard!" Naruto replied as he showed his fist
"Even with time, he never really changes does he?" Hokage let out somehow relieved
The small group then left as they headed towards the places where former teams now lived to warn them of Hokage's new order.
"That was too close" Naruto let out in relief that the situation didn't go too bad
Hokage lifted and eyebrow as he didn't quite understand what Naruto meant, but saw how worried the blond, Sasha and even Kyubi had a worried expression.
"Naruto........." Hokage started but Naruto turned his head to meet his eyes
"I know, we got a lot of explaining to do." Naruto said with a low voice
"Hokage-sama, we can't let those things roam free in the Village, the people will........." The Anbu started to protest when he felt an uncomfortable pair of eyes on him
"The Villagers won't be able to see them" Sasha interrupted him
"That's impossible" The Anbu let out
"For us, it isn't" Naruto replied as he looked over at the female
"Kyubi, Aka, time for you to save up your chakra. We don't know when they could strike and how strong it will be" Sasha reminded the demons with a soft voice
"I was getting bored anyway" Kyubi commented as looked over at the wolf
"Just make sure that idiot keeps his mouth shut her I'm going to snap that delicate neck of his next time" Aka growled
With that said, the two demons started to get blurry, as they chakra seemed to surround them. It seemed like they were slowly vanishing before their eyes as Naruto and Sasha stood behind their demons, eyes closed, with calm expression. The chakra dissolved to the point the forms of Kyubi and Aka were no longer visible, as red chakra entered Naruto's body, and the white chakra entered within Sasha.
Both exhaled as they opened their eyes to see Hokage's eyes were wide open over what had just happened.
"Since the demons themselves have a great amount of chakra, with time, we found a way, so they could roam outside the host for a certain amount of time." Sasha started to explain
"In other words, you don't have to worry about your precious Villagers seeing our demons." Naruto spat out with some anger
Hokage didn't press the matter as he knew how much hatred Naruto held against the Villagers that tormented him since he was born. But what still amazed him was how he could work without to many problems with Kyubi and never thought about betraying his Village despite all that happened.
"We should head back, the Juunins and Chuunins should be in you chambers by the time we arrive." The Anbu reminded Hokage
"Very well" Hokage as he presented his hand for Naruto and Sasha to let the way
Sasha took point as Naruto followed close behind as they now headed back to the chambers to discuss the real problem to come.

*Hokage Chambers*
Hokage opened the door to his chambers, as Naruto and Sasha followed behind him. Upon entering the chambers, they all felt the presence of a chakra that was familiar to them.
By instinct, Naruto and Sasha reached into their holster to extract a few kunais and ready themselves for a battle. Hokage then turned on the lights, as the figure was revealed to them.
"It's been a while......... Naruto-san" The familiar voice spoke with a smile

ARK! Finally DONE! Ever sicne I had my new story ( Rivals Or Lovers? ) stuck in my head, I couldn't update any of my stories which totally SUCKED! But now, since I published it, I'm back in the game baby!

Chapter 2 : Old Enemies
Synopsis : Sasha and Naruto returned to Leaf Village, as they brought bad news with them. How will they all react to this information? Aka Ookami and Kyubi now try to reach their host when they stumble across some difficulties.........

JUTSU LIST
- Kagemane no Jutsu - Shadow Copy Skill : Allows the user to control their own shadow, changing it to any shape they wish, and extending/shortening it inside a certain radius. When the shadow contacts the opponents shadow, it combines the two, making the opponent do anything the user does. The shadow can also latch onto multiple targets Yet, the jutsu has a time limit.
- Byakugan - White Eyes: This jutsu is activated in the eyes, much like the Sharingan. Sharingan actually developed from Byakugan. This jutsu allows the user's vision to become 360 degrees. The user is able to see fully around them, and all their surroundings. Byakugan also has the ability to see objects, and view the inner coil system of a person's body, and in advanced cases, the Chakra Holes. Using this, the user can attack the inner organs of a person, and do high amounts of damage.

Sasha took a step forward since she heard the low question Hokage had let out.
"He allied himself with someone powerful, another great ninja" Sasha answered
Hokage immediately stared at the female, as he wanted to know more.
"Allied? Who could possibly ally with Shiraku?" Hokage asked in disbelief
Naruto hesitated to answer as he looked to Sasha to know if he should be the one to announce the bad news.
"He allied himself with someone that hates this Village as much as Shiraku does. Also, they want immortality and both seemed to nearly accomplish that ........." Sasha started as Naruto stepped forward to finish it
"Shiraku allied himself with Orochimaru ........." Naruto finished

The moment Naruto mentioned the name of Orochimaru, Hokage's pipe fell on the ground, as his eyes widened.
"Orochimaru........." Hokage repeated as the information started to sink in
"That's why we came here." Sasha commented
"You should pick that off the floor before it starts a fire old man" Naruto commented with a smile while he pointed to the floor
Hokage kept quiet, as he kneeled to take hold of his pipe and place it on his desk.

---Watch Tower---
A few ninjas were posted to watch the gates when they sensed strange chakra coming their way.
"Do you sense it?" The shinobi asked
The second shinobi leaned over the ledge and focused on the forest where a pair of red eyes and whites dots glowed in the shadows.
"Get and the Anbu here now!" The other shinobi ordered
The shinobi nodded, as he vanished from sight, as the other scanned closely the area with his eyes, while he waited for the Anbu team to arrive.
---Ground Level, In the Shadows---
The fox looked over at the wolf, as he wondered what they should do, since they were well aware that soon they would be surrounded by many shinobis.
"Remind me why we came here?" Kyubi asked
"Because our hosts are here as well" Aka answered as he stared at the lone shinobi in the guard tower
"I suppose we can't just make our way through?" Kyubi asked but already knew the answer
"I doubt the old hag would appreciate that" Aka confirmed
"That idiot brat better come here soon then" Kyubi commented as he licked his lips
"Just remember not to go berserk stupid ferret" Aka commented
"Same applies to you stupid dog" Kyubi shot back at the wolf
Both continued to quarrel in silence, as they saw the shinobi was no longer alone in the tower.
---Watch Tower---
The shinobi that had left, came back with two teams of Anbu and a few Juunins accompanied them.
"What's the situation?" A dark haired Anbu asked
"There's something there. We didn't interfere because the chakra isn't like the others." The shinobi replied
"Kiba, can Akamaru confirm from here?" The dark haired shinobi indirectly ordered the Juunin
Kiba was now a talk young adult, as his dog Akamaru had grown up a bit. Due to Akamaru's still small size, he still managed to crawl on Kiba whenever he wanted, which made the duo very useful during missions.
Kiba was now mostly dressed in black, but had the Juunin vest over his black vest, which usually hid a sleeping Akamaru. He wore long black pants, with his holster on the right leg. His headband was wrapped around his neck, just like a dog collar.
Kiba looked at his faithful companion as the dog barked in approval. Akamaru sniffed the air and it didn't take long for him to return on his master's head and whine.
"Definitely two different chakras. But they seem strange." Kiba translated Akamaru's barks
"How strange?" The dark shinobi asked
"The two charkas are strong but 2 weaker chakra seem to be in them as well" Kiba replied
The dark haired Shinobi thought for a moment, when he turned towards the other Juunin that accompanied Kiba. Shikamaru Nara.
The boy had quickly advanced to Juunin level thanks to his high intelligence, but even now being an adult, he still preferred to wear those clothes than that strange chuunin vest.
"I say, you, me, Kiba and Neji go in first, followed by the rest for back up." Shikamaru offered
"Hmmm, I'm surprised you included yourself in the first group." Neji commented behind his Anbu mask, leader of the second Anbu team present on site
Neji was now a tall man with longer hair tied behind his back. He wore the traditional black Anbu outfit, as the mask that covered his face looked like a cat. So even with the mask on, he could execute his bloodline without any trouble.
"I want their exact position" The other Anbu leader demanded
Neji nodded, as he joined his hands together to activate his Byakugan to see the two distinct figures who hid themselves within the bushes.
"Once we're on the ground level, they'll be 15 meters to the North-East." Neji confirmed
The dark haired shinobi gave out the orders, as himself, Shikamaru, Kiba, with Akamaru, and Neji were the first to go to the ground level, as they carefully scanned their surroundings.
---Ground Level---
The wolf sniffed the air, while the fox had an evil grin upon his lips, while they both observed carefully the four shinobis near them.
"They could be a problem" Aka let out
"Afraid?" Kyubi teased
"Iie, but they worry me. It's best to evade them to get to our hosts." Aka suggested
"Although I usually disagree with your way of thinking, the one behind the Anbu masks worry me." Kyubi commented
"I agree, so save your energy and follow me" Aka requested from the fox
Aka Ookami led the way, as the fox, followed the wolf despite he didn't like the idea of taking orders. Aka silently crawled behind the bushes as the fox followed him, when the young shinobis voices caught their attention and immediately stopped any movement.
"They changed of position." Neji informed them as his eyes scanned the area with an activated Byakugan
"Find them" The dark haired boy ordered
"Right there!" Neji stated as he threw a kunai through the bushes
Aka barely had time to take a step back when the kunai landed before his paws, while his butt almost met Kyubi's face.
"Watch it!" The fox growled as he took several steps back to evade the wolf's butt
Kyubi hadn't noticed that his growl was quite loud, until the voices of came closer.
"It's your move" The Anbu leader spoke as he pointed towards the kunai's direction
Kiba nodded as he vanished from sight with Akamaru on his shoulder. Shikamaru placed his hands together as he waited for the suspects to come out, while Neji kept an eye out to make sure of their enemies position.
"Where did dog boy go?" Kyubi asked as his eyes and nose scanned the area around them
"It's not nice to call me dog boy" The voice came form behind them
Kiba and Akamaru stood behind the two demons as they didn't waste time charged forward, to get the demons out of their hiding place and towards his comrades.
"Get the pup, I got the brat" Kyubi quickly said as he charged forward to meet Kiba's attack
The moment Kyubi jumped into the air to meet Kiba's attack, he also revealed his position as well what he looked like. Aka had no other choice but to tackle Akamaru to protect his pride as a wolf.
"What the hell are those?" The Anbu leader let out in surprise
"We better give dog boy a hand before he gets killed" Neji let out as he prepared to join the battle
The Anbu gave sign, as Shikamaru concentrated, waiting for the right moment to activate his main Jutsu, while Neji waited for the right time to get into the fight.
On his side, Kiba evaded the claws of Kyubi, but the group were still unaware that they were actually fighting Kyubi and Aka Ookami. As soon as their feet reached the ground, they pounced back up to go at it again, as Kyubi's paw met up with Kiba's jaw.
After nearly getting his head ripped off, Kyubi and Kiba landed on the ground with a certain force as they stared into each others eyes.
"What the hell are these things?!" Kiba whined as he whipped off the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand
"Go help Akamaru. Get the other one on the ground." Shikamaru ordered as he finally formed his jutsu
Kiba nodded but still didn't let his guard down due to the enemy he faced. The fox took a few steps forward, until something caught his attention.
"Where's this chakra coming from?" Kyubi asked himself before it was too late
Kyubi leaned his head towards the right to look behind him when he saw a familiar hand seals. His eyes widened when he felt he couldn't move anymore.
"Seem like I managed to use my Kagemane No Jutsu. All that's left is your friend" Shikamaru stated as he held the fox in place
Shikamaru had been able to use his well known Kagemane No Jutsu the moment the fox let his guard down and only concentrated on Kiba. Kyubi could barely move but managed to lean his head to watch his so called ally.
The fight between Akamaru and Aka Ookami was intense but without any tricks. Both attacked with claws and canines although Aka was more dangerous than the dog itself.
Both dogs landed on their paws, as the growled at each other, although Aka was more aggressive. This time, Aka ran towards a tree that was on the left of Akamaru. The chase was on as Akamaru ran after the wolf, unaware of what was about to happen.
"Dogs are so predictable" Aka let out with a smile
Aka stomped the ground as he seemed to be attacking the tree itself. Once his paws met with the trunk, he gave it enough force for him to pounce right back to face head on the dog.
Aka's paw connected with Akamaru's jaw, as he gave him a hard slaw, sending the dog to the ground. Akamaru laid on his side, as he tried to lift himself up before Aka's canines wrapped themselves around his delicate neck.
Akamaru immediately stopped moving, as he felt the canines slowly enter his flesh and whined form the slight pain it caused him. Kiba's eyes widened as he couldn't save his long time companion.
"Akamaru!" Kiba yelled out as he didn't move anymore
Aka stood his ground, as he showed his canines even more with a very angry look and growled towards the four shinobis.
"If you wish to die that much, then we won't hold back any longer" Aka stated as he glared at the young shinobis
With that sentence said, Aka's eyes met those of Kyubi's, as if he gave him the go to do wild on them. Kyubi couldn't help but smile, as he gathered more of his chakra to aid him to break the jutsu on him.
Red chakra gathered at the fox's paws as the shadow seemed to have trouble staying on the demon.
"Shika! You Kagemane is suppose to hold him still!" Kiba yelled out
"I'm not low on chakra. I don't know why he can move ........." Shikamaru explained, as Kyubi started to move his paws and turned around to face the group with a deadly glare and growled
Aka remained in his position with Akamaru in his jaw, as they waited for the shinobis to make the first move.
"What do we do?" Neji asked as his focus was on the fox
All three stared at the dark haired Anbu, and waited for his decision on the matter.

*Hokage Tower*
Hokage paid attention to Naruto and Sasha had to say to him about the situation Konoha might have to face.
"What are their plans?" Hokage asked
"Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. They want Konoha's complete destruction, along with your death and ours mostly. I'm also guessing Orochimaru still wants Sasuke's body." Naruto explained
As Hokage prepared to ask yet another question, Sasha's head leaned towards the window.
"What is it?" Naruto asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder
"Kyubi's chakra just went berserk" Sasha replied as she stared at the far away entrance gate
"Old man! How many shinobis are at the watch tower?" Naruto asked
"Two, but if something's wrong, two Anbu teams will show up" Hokage answered
"My guess is, they were found, and as much as they try to hold back, they're still demons. They won't be able to hold back their thirst for blood for long" Sasha stated with worry
"Are you saying those demons are loose?" Hokage asked in confusion
Before either of them would answer, Sasha rushed out of the room as she headed towards where she felt the chakra of Kyubi. Naruto stared for a moment as he rushed out as well but stopped when he reached the doorframe.
"If we don't get to them before the Anbu simply attacks them, then you'll be planning a funeral for them" Naruto replied as he continued to chase after Sasha.
"Did I really make a wise decision to let those two roam free in the world?" Hokage asked himself, as he summoned an Anbu team within his chambers
Three Anbu with cat masks appeared before in the room, as Hokage gave out specific orders to them with a very serious tone and look.
"I need you to gather the Juunins in my office as soon as possible. A team comes with me to the watch towers at the entrance gates." Hokage ordered as he lifted his hand in the air and brought it back down
Two of the Anbu vanished as smoke was left from where they were earlier. The remaining Anbu came closer to Hokage, in search of an answer to why these orders were being given out.
"You'll know the truth at the same time as everyone else" Hokage let out before he started to walk out of his chambers
The Anbu nodded, as he followed Hokage without a word, to their next destination, the entrance gates.

*Entrance Gates*
---Ground Level---
Kiba was very angry, as Akamaru let out some whines which only Kiba could understand. The dog was sacred and in slight pain before he was within the mouth of a wolf.
Shikamaru was still shocked that his Kagemane was defeated so easily, as they had underestimated their enemies. The dark haired boy stepped forward as he prepared to make his move.
"I suppose you don't care what happens to this thing in my mouth" Aka mumbled as his tongue licked the fur ball's neck
The Anbu leader gave sign to Shikamaru and Neji t draw out a kunai, as he, himself drew one out and pointed it towards the two creatures.
"Hey! What about Akamaru!?" Kiba yelled out in worry for his companion
"Trust me" The dark haired Anbu replied with confidence
Kiba was speechless but trusted the Anbu's moves at the risk of perhaps loosing his beloved partner. Shikamaru and Neji only waited for The leader to give out the order.
"Are they really going to try and attack us?" Kyubi asked
"Guess fur ball isn't important to them" Aka replied
Kyubi stepped forward as he was ready to face off the Anbu who's identity still remained hidden because of the mask he wore.
"Let me fight him alone, if the others interfere in any way, then I guess you found supper." Kyubi commented much to Kiba's disgust
Aka let out a growl, as his attention turned towards the remaining 2 Juunins and the Anbu that led the second team.
The Anbu took another step forward as he then charged directly at the fox. Kyubi grinned, as he stood still, while his ears twitched a little as if he heard a noise.
As the Anbu threw his kunai towards the fox, a loud sound of metal was heard, as the Anbu's kunai landed before his feet. His head lowered momentarily to notice his kunai had been deflected by another metal object. He returned his gaze before him, as two hooded figures stood between himself and the two demons.
"You sure took you damn time!" Kyubi growled at the figures before him
Kiba and Shikamaru were shocked to see now they had more trouble but then they looked over at the Anbu leader and Neji.
"It's been a while. Uzumaki Naruto" Neji spoke out loud with a smile
Naruto removed the hood that covered his head as he confirmed to his old friends that he was indeed who Neji said he was.
As the Anbu leader seemed surprise, the Hokage finally made it there as the Anbu who accompanied him took a defensive position the moment he noticed the demon fox who stood behind the two shadows.
"You'll have to explain yourself after this" Hokage informed the boy
"Hai hai" Naruto said as Sasha removed her hood as well
Then the Anbu took another step forward as this one seemed a bit shocked and confused.
"Dobe?" The Anbu let out
"Nice to see you too bastard" Naruto replied to his old rival
Sasuke removed his mask to reveal his Sharingan had been activated. His hair had become longer as he highly resembled his older brother, Itachi. But he still had that face who held no expression.
Silence came as they both stared at each other without once moving or speaking. Sasha noticed this and simply rolled her eyes.
"You two aren't going to kiss again are you?" Sasha broke the silence
Both boys stopped staring at each other as their gaze fell upon the young female instead. Hokage simply slapped his frehead, as Kiba's jaw almost dropped to the ground. Neji lifted and eyebrow as Shikamaru sighed.
"Don't tell me since class this became a habit" Shikamaru remembered when they had accidentally kissed in front of the whole class when they were younger
"HELL NO!!!" Both boys yelled out at the same time while they glared at their friend
"This is going to be troublesome........." Shikamaru let out as he waved his hands in front of him to defend himself
Everyone was caught up in the one sentence Sasha said as they forgot about poor Akamaru that was still held captive within the canines of Aka Ookami.
"Akamaru!" Kiba yelled out as he rushed towards his companion
Sasha then looked behind her to notice what was this so called Akamaru the annoying Juunin kept yelling about.
"Tell your stupid wolf to let go of him!" Kiba ordered her as he showed his fists
Sasha 's expression turned to being angry as Naruto saw this and immediately advised Kiba to calm down before he said anything more.
"Trust me man, you don't' want to piss her off right now" Naruto warned his old friend
Sasha glared at the boy for several seconds, until she turned around to then kneel in front of her demon companion and caressed him behind the ears.
"Aka, put that thing down before he gives you any flees." Sasha requested from him
The fox let out a little laugh as he was amused how Sasha could still order him around. But he then remembered that to argue with a female wasn't a very good idea either.
Aka removed his canines from Akamaru's neck and then sat down as the dog didn't take long to run into his master's arms. Sasha then stood back up and turned towards the rest of the people.
"Care to explain?" Hokage asked as his eyes remained on the two demons
"Oh? You mean them?" Naruto pointed at Kyubi and Aka Ookami
"Yes." Hokage replied seriously
Aka walked next to Sasha, as Kyubi made it's way towards Hokage. Immediately, the Anbu stood between the Kyubi and Hokage, but Hokage lifted his hand.
"Step aside, it's quite alright" Hokage advised the Anbu
"But Hokage-sama........." The Anbu started to object
The Anbu objected as he turned to meet the serious eyes of the Hokage. The Anbu gulped as he slowly stepped aside to let the demon pass.
"The third correct?" Kyubi wanted to confirm
"Hai" Hokage replied
"I'm surprised an old geezer like yourself can be Hokage" Kyubi teased with a grin as he was centimeters away from the Hokage's face
"Do those words come from you or did Naruto rub off his attitude on you?" Hokage shot back at the demon with a little smile
Kyubi's smile faded as his eyes showed he was angry by the Hokage's words. Immediately, Naruto rushed towards his long time companion as he wrapped his arms around the demon's neck to pull him back and away from Hokage.
"This isn't the time to try and kill the old man" Naruto whispered into Kyubi's ear
"As if the thought hadn't crossed my mind........." Kyubi sarcastically said as he rolled his eyes
"I guess that he's Kyubi who was sealed inside you?" Neji asked but already knew the answer
"Hai, although he's a pain in the ass!" Naruto commented as he rubbed the back of his head
The fox's headed stared up to meet Naruto's eyes, as Sasha simply slapped her forehead, while Aka Ookami lowered his head and couldn't believe they were at it again.
"Listen up old man, as much as I like the reunion, we got stuff to take care of and some you need to hear about." Naruto started as Sasha took a step forward to finish his sentence
"Gather those that were present last time, as well as those you fit important enough to share this new information with." Sasha requested from the Hokage
"Hokage-sama? What is going on?" Neji asked a bit concerned
"Neji, I'd appreciate it if you, Kiba, Shikamaru and Sasuke would gather the former members of the following teams. Team 7, Team 8 and, Team 9 and Team 10. And while you can, please get Iruka-sensei, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to see you Naruto." Hokage ordered the Juunins and Anbu leaders
The group nodded as they understood they should hurry up to gather their former friends to Hokage's chambers.
"By the way, your dog's lucky that Aka didn't kill him." Sasha stated as her eyes were locked with Kiba's
"Lucky?" Neji repeated the words, a bit curious to the answer they would obtain
"Aka's natural instincts are to kill first and then escape. Lucky for you, he was aware of the treaty between ourselves and Hokage." Sasha finished to explain as Aka gave a deadly glare at the dog
"Your damn dog is lucky that I didn't go kick his ass!" Kiba replied as his dog barked back
Upon hearing the name dog thrown at him, Aka stood up on his paws, growled angrily and showed his canines. His eyes showed the rage build up within the wolf, as he was prepared to kill the boy right there and now.
"Calm down Aka. You can't expect much form such weakling humans like him and that thing in his arms" Kyubi interefered as he stood between the boy and the wolf
"NANI!?" Kiba yelled out
Naruto stepped forward as well, as Sasha placed a hand on Aka's back to calm him down.
"It's not wise to provoke a demon" Sasha commented as she reached into her pouch
All eyes were fixed on them, while Neji and Shikamaru prepared themselves to take out their kunais, when Sasuke gave them a sign to not to.
"Kiba. Akamaru's fine. Stop whining and get going" Sasuke ordered the Juunin
Kiba growled a little as he stood down. Naruto was relieved, as Aka still had a grudge over what he was referred to.
"Dobe. Make sure you explain them as well later" Sasuke warned the blond as he pointed to the demons
"Don't call me that you bastard!" Naruto replied as he showed his fist
"Even with time, he never really changes does he?" Hokage let out somehow relieved
The small group then left as they headed towards the places where former teams now lived to warn them of Hokage's new order.
"That was too close" Naruto let out in relief that the situation didn't go too bad
Hokage lifted and eyebrow as he didn't quite understand what Naruto meant, but saw how worried the blond, Sasha and even Kyubi had a worried expression.
"Naruto........." Hokage started but Naruto turned his head to meet his eyes
"I know, we got a lot of explaining to do." Naruto said with a low voice
"Hokage-sama, we can't let those things roam free in the Village, the people will........." The Anbu started to protest when he felt an uncomfortable pair of eyes on him
"The Villagers won't be able to see them" Sasha interrupted him
"That's impossible" The Anbu let out
"For us, it isn't" Naruto replied as he looked over at the female
"Kyubi, Aka, time for you to save up your chakra. We don't know when they could strike and how strong it will be" Sasha reminded the demons with a soft voice
"I was getting bored anyway" Kyubi commented as looked over at the wolf
"Just make sure that idiot keeps his mouth shut her I'm going to snap that delicate neck of his next time" Aka growled
With that said, the two demons started to get blurry, as they chakra seemed to surround them. It seemed like they were slowly vanishing before their eyes as Naruto and Sasha stood behind their demons, eyes closed, with calm expression. The chakra dissolved to the point the forms of Kyubi and Aka were no longer visible, as red chakra entered Naruto's body, and the white chakra entered within Sasha.
Both exhaled as they opened their eyes to see Hokage's eyes were wide open over what had just happened.
"Since the demons themselves have a great amount of chakra, with time, we found a way, so they could roam outside the host for a certain amount of time." Sasha started to explain
"In other words, you don't have to worry about your precious Villagers seeing our demons." Naruto spat out with some anger
Hokage didn't press the matter as he knew how much hatred Naruto held against the Villagers that tormented him since he was born. But what still amazed him was how he could work without to many problems with Kyubi and never thought about betraying his Village despite all that happened.
"We should head back, the Juunins and Chuunins should be in you chambers by the time we arrive." The Anbu reminded Hokage
"Very well" Hokage as he presented his hand for Naruto and Sasha to let the way
Sasha took point as Naruto followed close behind as they now headed back to the chambers to discuss the real problem to come.

*Hokage Chambers*
Hokage opened the door to his chambers, as Naruto and Sasha followed behind him. Upon entering the chambers, they all felt the presence of a chakra that was familiar to them.
By instinct, Naruto and Sasha reached into their holster to extract a few kunais and ready themselves for a battle. Hokage then turned on the lights, as the figure was revealed to them.
"It's been a while......... Naruto-san" The familiar voice spoke with a smile
