"Well if it ain't big pimpin." Racetrack said as he watched Mush walk down the hallway.
"What is up dogs?" Mush said acting tough.
"Just chillin." Kid Blink said doing the ghetto hand shake with Mush.
"Sweet." Mush replied back.
"You guys can't do the ghetto talk really well." Jack said approaching them from the other end of the hallway. Mush, Jack, Kid Blink, and Racetrack were all standing in front of Racetrack's locker. The boys attended Manhattan High School. It was eight o'clock and homeroom was about to start.
"So what are you guys going to do after school?" Mush asked.
"Probably hang out at the pool hall." Racetrack said while pulling some books out of his locker.
"Sounds like a plan." Mush said.
"Hey Mush!" A group of girls waved at Mush as they walked by.
"Hey ladies!" Mush replied with a grin, while watching them leave. The rest of the guys just rolled their eyes.
"I don't get it. What do they see in this guy?" Jack asked.
"I don't know. I'm simply irresistible." Mush said showing off. Out of the corner of his eye, Kid saw Chloe-Lynn coming with her group of cheerleaders. She approached Kid.
"Hey Kid, what do you have planned for tonight?" Kid Blink just shrugged her off. He turned his head away. Chloe-Lynn was playing with Kid Blink's buttons on his shirt.
"My parents won't be home if you want to come over." Kid politely pushed Chloe away.
"Oh you know Chloe; I'm doing the usual tonight."
"And what's that?" She asked flapping her over applied mascara lashes at Kid Blink.
"Trying to avoid you." Kid Blink replied grinning. The rest of the boys softly were going "ooh." Chloe-Lynn's face turned into what looked like an angry gorilla.
"Fine. Whatever." She said walking away. She flipped her hair into Kid Blink's face.
"Why doesn't she use her tramp act on someone else? Catch you guys at the pool hall." Kid Blink turned and headed towards his homeroom.
"Well I better get going as well. Catch ya later." Jack left as well.
"C-ya Mush. Keep it on the down low." Racetrack said turning and walking away.
"No doubt." Mush turned and ran right into Lexie.
"Lexie hi."
"Goodbye Mush." Lexie moved out of his way and left.
"Wow, communication. It's a start." He turned into his homeroom and started his day.
It was lunchtime and Mush was sitting at his normal table with the rest of the guys. He was eating lunch with Snitch, Jake, and Itey. As Mush was about to swallow his bite of his chicken patty, he heard a loud slap on the table.
"Goodness Chloe-Lynn, do you ever make a normal entrance?" Mush said coughing.
"I'm Chloe-Lynn. I'm above normal."
"Sorry your royalty." Mush said wiping his mouth with a napkin.
"Would you boys mind leaving?" Chloe-Lynn gave Snitch, Jake, and Itey the evil eye.
"Um Chloe, there's something wrong with your eye." Jake said pointing at Chloe.
"Yeah did you eat something sour?" Snitch said laughing. The rest of the guys followed.
"Oh go shove it." She said turning away.
"We already did, up your butt!" Itey said making a quick exist. Snitch and Jake followed.
"Catch ya later Princess Diana." Jake said quickly.
"What do you want Chloe?" Mush asked taking another bite of his sandwich.
"What can I do to get Kid to like me?"
"Oh I got it! Get him these really nice pair of glasses. Yeah, like a special kind. One side with a clear lens and the other with a tan lens, like in sunglasses, that way he wouldn't have to wear that hideous eye patch." Mush said cupping his fingers together to make glasses.
"I'm being serious Mush."
"I am too." He said getting up.
"Mush don't you see. We can help each other. I can help you get Lexie if you help me get Kid." She said stepping in front of Mush.
"Oh I get it. Like a special bond."
"Yeah." She smiled.
"No." He turned to walk away.
"Come on Mush. We can both benefit from this."
"Do you know how you're talking too? It's the Mushinator. I'm the king at getting girls okay. I don't need any help from any girl. If anything I should be helping you girls. Guys don't go to girls for help okay. The only purpose girls serve is to make guys happy."
