I Changed My Mind
Summary: Ryoma had thought about Seishun Academy, it was in fact constantly on his mind while he was in America, and if not by a chance acquaintance...he might have gone there...but one man's words strikes a curious note in him as he somewhat challenges him to beat his son! Well...what can you expect from Ryoma Echizen? Hyotei, be prepared...the Prince of Tennis is coming...after he makes the tournament at Seishun Academy!
Pairing: Alright, its been quite long enough since my first chapter, and all reviewers who suggested a pairing, suggested either Ryoma/Keigo...or...OT6. I have decided to keep this personal...Ryoma/Keigo!
Rated: M (I'm not sure if anyone has realized this, but I rate my stories M for not only sexual scenes, but language usage as well, an on that note. I like writing naughty scenes, so...it's a precaution, lol.)
Anime: Prince of Tennis (I finally finished it...now...I have to RE-WATCH IT, and all for this story. 221 episodes…20 minutes long for each episodes...that's...4,420 minutes...divide that by 60 minutes...and, that's 73 hours...divide that by 24 hours in a day and its 3 full days...but, I can't re-watch all those episodes in three days, that would be no sleep, eating, working...nothing...so...divide that by 6 hours instead and it should take me 12 days to finish...hm, that sounds reasonable!)

SLAM!
Nanjiro glanced at the brochure on the table, the hand on top of it having just slammed it down before him. "Yes?"
"I'm not going to Seishun."
Eyes widening at such a bold deceleration, Nanjiro sat forward and grabbed the brochure as if to protect it from his sons words. "Why!?"
"I decided on another school."
"But you don't know any other schools!" Nanjiro was running his feet in place frantically, "go to Seishun! Papa went to Seishun!"
"That's no matter to me, old man. I have someone else I wish to play right now."
"Someone...someone else?" He frowned, "which school are you so adamant about attending?"
"...Hyotei Academy..."
His fathers eyes bulged at the ritzy Academy name he'd tossed out all of a sudden. "H-Hyotei? Where did you hear about that school from!?"
Ryoma pulled a business card from his pocket and held it out to his dad. "If by the end of the year I defeat this mans son, all of my expenses for Hyotei Academy will be paid for."
"...all of them, huh." Nanjiro snatched the card from Ryoma's hand and looked it over. He stared at the name and a brow raised slightly before he placed the card down. "Fine...but allow me to change the stakes."
Ryoma raised his eyes to his fathers. "You have till the end of Nationals...if by then you can't defeat this boy...you will transfer to Seishun."
Ryoma shrugged, "fine."
"Good...this man...I'm familiar with his name. While he's no tennis player himself, he's a major sponsor for a great many Tennis Tournaments...I don't doubt his word when he says he'll pay your way through the Academy if you beat his son. However, with that being said, he wouldn't wager so much of his money if he didn't also have good faith in his sons own abilities."
Ryoma stared at his father without speaking, not caring to listen much longer to his old mans constant talking.
"...that means, while he may want you to beat his son, he highly doubts you can."

(March 2008)
Arriving much earlier than he'd anticipated, Ryoma had plenty of time to make it since he no longer had to participate in the Kakinokizaka Garden Tennis Tournament. Had he gone to Seishun, he would be playing against some fourteen, fifteen or sixteen year old...since most twelve and thirteen year olds didn't even try to compete against that particular age group. However, since the tournament housed only those in the decided surrounding area, Kakinoki Academy, Seishun Academy, Fudoumine Academy, Gyokurin Academy and a few others were the only schools eligible to participate.
"If it'd been the prefecture tournament for Kantou..." Ryoma stopped, glancing behind himself at the yells coming from a train that had just followed the one he'd been on. A girl crying ran off the train as the doors opened. The scene grew louder as people started yelling about someone hitting someone with a racquet. He assumed it to be the girl, but she was long gone by now. "Tch...mada mada dane..."
Walking off, he didn't let himself become distracted with the drama in the train, it wouldn't have done him any good anyways. He didn't see what had happened, and even if he had, it wasn't really his place to step in. He had his own priorities...and they were to get to Hyotei, play the tennis regulars qualifying matches, and defeat the son of the old man who challenged him!

Arriving at the Academy, he looked at the school with a blank stare, not showing how impressed he was by the schools build or structure, he glanced around before walking off towards the left. The obvious fact that he'd find the tennis courts outside guided him around the courtyard and towards the back of the school where large and very well put together Tennis Courts were maintained. "..." Eyes following the students around him, he wondered why so many were already at school when school didn't technically start for another two days.
"Did you see! Did you~?"
"He's sooo cool!"
"Super hot too! I mean, not like Gakura who is really cute or even Oshitari who has that nerdy sexy thing going on, Atobe is just..."
"AH~!"
Ryoma listened as the three girls shrilly squealed about the very person he was looking for, and chose to follow the trio in their trek towards the tennis courts. Not disappointed in the least to find the boy serving in a match with another teen most likely fourteen or fifteen in age. "...I found him."
