A/N: I'm incredibly sorry that it's taken me so long to update this story. It will be completed soon=)
"He what?!" Brock exclaimed.
"Doesn't surprise me." Barbara Jean said and shook her head.
"I'll kill him." Brock stated. "I will kill Van." He began pacing the floor slowly.
"Brock, you know you can't do anything irrational." Reba said.
"How can you be so calm?!" Brock asked frazzled.
"You think I like it that Van lost our only grandchild? I've been in a panic since he got home with that little boy." Brock whirled around to look at his ex-wife.
"What? Not only has he lost our granddaughter, but he's kidnapped somebody else's kid?"
"Relax Brock. Remember the zoo?" Brock's eyes glowered.
"That was ten years ago Reba! Give it up! So I lost Kyra once. It was an accident."
"And Van lost Elizabeth intentionally?" Reba sighed. "We need to fight less and focus more on helping Van find Elizabeth. It's important to get her back before Cheyenne comes home and finds that she's gone. She'll be upset with Van."
"I'm upset with Van!" Brock exclaimed. Reba nodded.
"I am too; but we can't argue and accomplish anything else." Reba paused. "Let's go over to the house, see Van and talk about what we're going to do."
"Okay." Brock took in a deep breath and the three of them walked out the front door.

Reba heard screaming before she ever walked in the door. When Brock, Reba and Barbara Jean walked in they saw Van trying to quiet the little boy. Van looked up at them. There was a hint of relief on his face.
"Mrs. H, I need help. I can't get him to quit crying." Reba walked over and took him.
"He's just scared Van, he's been taking from the only home he's ever known and been forced to stick with people he's never met." Reba walked up behind Van and smacked the back of his head.
"Hey!"
"It's your fault we're in this mess! Why didn't you check the child before you picked him up?"
"Better, yet, why weren't you watching Elizabeth?" Brock hollered.
"Don't all of you gang up on me at once!" Van exclaimed. Reba walked over to him. She was still bouncing the little boy. He was whimpering now instead of full blown crying.
"Are you aware that you could go to jail? We may never see Elizabeth again. You have this little boy, but who knows if his parents took Elizabeth." Reba stated.
"We'll find her." Van said.
"You'd better. Cheyenne will flip." Brock said.
"Oh yeah." Barbara Jean chimed in.
"Have you tried finding his family at all yet?" Reba asked.
'I thought about going back to the park. Maybe they are still looking for him."
"You need to do more than just think about it! Do something Van!" She smacked him again.
"Hey!" Then the phone rang. Reba walked over and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey mom. Is Van there?" Reba looked at Van.
"Yeah, just a minute." She handed him the phone. "It's for you," She walked over to Brock and Barbara Jean. "It's Cheyenne!" She whispered.
"Oh no. This isn't good." Barbara Jean whimpered.
"Hey honey." Van said nonchalantly. "Yeah, we're all doing fine." He paused and looked at his in laws. "Elizabeth? No she can't talk now." His eyes widened. "Why not?" He said aloud looking at Brock and Reba.
"She's sleeping." Reba whispered.
"She's taking a nap Cheyenne." He paused. "Okay, you do that. Love you sweetie." Van hung up.
"Well?" Brock asked.
"She said she'd call back later to talk to Elizabeth."
"We have to find her Van." Reba stated and Van nodded.
"Let me have this little guy." Van took him from Reba. "We're going to the park." They walked out the door.
"Do you think Van will find her?" Brock looked at Reba. "Let's go." Reba grabbed her purse and the three of them rushed out to the car.
