Chapter 1

Ulrich POV

Right now, we are just siting on the grassy green field and enjoy the wind breeze which surrounding us. Odd is playing with his dog, kiwi, Jeremy is sticking his nose on his computer as usual, Aelita is humming a her favourite song smoothly by herself and lastly, Yumi is reading a book about karate.

I like her ever since the first day I met her, but then, I still don't know what are we. It's true that we like each other, but we always never confess it to each other, all we have done is making jealous at each other, fight a bit and then we back to square one. Sometime, I just feel tired about it. I wonder what our future like?

Ugh...

I think Aelita and Yumi must have heard my sigh and asked me the same question at the same time.

"Are you okay, Ulrich?" I'm just give them a slight nod but I have a feeling they don't buy it. "I'm fine, truly, just wondering what is our future like..." Odd stop playing with his dog cuz he wants to hear more about it so does Jeremy.

"I also always wondering what our future like... Wait, how about imagine if XANA wins in the future?" Odd asked snickerly and everyone rolls their eyes, not approved about his question.

"Are you insane?! I can't imagine what does it like to be our future if XANA won. It gives me a cold shiver thinking about it." Aelita said thinking about his dad sacrifices for them.

"Yeah, me neither."

"Me three."

"Let just enjoy the peaceful environment for now. I don't want to think about XANA again." Everyone agree with my suggestion and continue doing their tasks while I staring at the sky with some white puffy cloud imagine what our future looks like.

However, we didn't know that the future which Odd is imagining does came true and they are coming towards us faster than we expected...

Year 2020

"You guys need to go without us. We must stay back to face XANA..."

"I am not going without you guys. You are like my brother and sister, my family and I can't just leave my family here just like that."

"Please, Aelita, I'm begging you. You need to go, you need activate the time portal to teleport you guys to anotheranother timeline for safety and finding the younger selves for help. Bring the twins with you guys, they can persuade them easier a bit, I hope. "

" But mommy, daddy, we don't want to leave... We want to stay with you... Please... I am scare... "

" Look Lillian, you always want to make your parents happy, right? Then, be a good girl and help mommy and daddy to take care your brother and yourself, OK? We will be fine, we promise... But you must be brave and go with aunty Aelita, uncle Jeremy, Uncle Odd and aunty Sissy, ok? Besides, if you two can go with them, you will be able to play with your friends (their kids) longer already, isn't that what you love...?" They nodded with tears forming and sliding from their eyes uncontrolly.

" We will meet again, my sweetittle princess... I will take care of your mommy...Now go...!" He turn away from them and gaze at Jeremy. " You better take care of my kids or else..."

"I promise I won't make the same mistake again..." He nodded and pushed them into the time portal in the hard away. He didn't give them time to react. The last thing the gang saw was a sweet smile and a bright light engulfed their surroundings.

And the whole thing went black.

I'm sorry for not updating such a long time cuz, a writer block just strikes me and I do not have the time as I'm busy with studies. I will try update it as a soon as possible. Stay tune for more!
