AN: Here is the next chapter. Yep 2 in one day, that's how I roll. When I don't have work that is. Id like to give some recognition to two people who helped me form some more of this plot line for you guys.
My first reviewer and a major help: BuckeyeBelle
Major help and second reviewer: Zayren Heart
Bumblebee was walking alongside with Sam shifting through piles of concrete carefully. He remembered seeing a human femme before he was almost killed. No one has found her yet. He hoped that she got as far away as possible and wasn't hurt. It tore him up enough already knowing that so many humans had died for the cause of the Cybertronians. But the look in that girl's eye was something of recognition. As if she knew all that was going on and she wasn't surprised by any of it. Or maybe his processors were dwelling on this too much. It was getting dark so the Autobots turned on their headlights to continue rummaging through the rubble. Sideswipe and Bumblebee were moving some concrete when a yell broke the relative silence. "Hey over here!" Sam yelled.
While everyone rushed toward where Sam was, they could see the faint purple glow underneath the debris. Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Mirage, and some other soldiers were quickly moving the concrete and metal away. Sam shone a flashlight underneath looking for what caused the glow. They saw a flash of red orange hair, and green eyes looking up at them. The females face was dirty and smudged. Sweat gleaned off her forehead and a few cuts were visible.
"Are you alright?" Lennox called down.
"Yea." She Carolyn replied surprisingly steadily. "But my right arm might be broken."
"Ok we're going to get you out. We just ask you not to freak out, and to stay perfectly still."
She nodded. She wondered silently why they would ask her not to freak her out. Staring out of the small hole that was quickly getting bigger as she saw pieces being moved quickly away. That's when she caught a glint of yellow metal. Wait a second. She knew what that was. "So I'm guessing the aliens are helping?" She said out loud. Clamping her mouth shut, she looked up. Everything and everyone stopped. She saw the yellow robot looking down at her. Recognition in his optics. She also saw a silver and red one.
"How do you know about them?" Sam asked.
"Never mind that right now. Let's just get her out of there. Questions later." Lennox said, and everyone continued the job of unburying her.
Carolyn's POV
I looked at the man hardly out of his teens looking at me suspiciously. One of the army men, the one who ordered to get me out of there kept glancing at me, as if to try and read me. I got a better look at the alien robots that were helping get me out. The yellow bot also had black stripes on him. It had appendages on his back resembling wings. He looked like a bee. I cocked my head to the side when the bot looked at me. I wanted to ask him why he was looking at me like I had two heads, but I don't think talking to them at the moment would be a good idea. Especially the way everyone acted last time I said something I supposedly wasn't supposed to know.
The red one just kept glancing at me, and the silver one was wheeling around. His feet were wheels. I looked from one robot to the other for a good five minutes. Looking at them, there was something nagging me in the back of my mind; it sort of tickled. I scrunched my eyebrows focusing on each of them. They all looked at me like I was crazy. My sight got slightly fuzzy like there was a film over them that I get when I wake up. I blinked hard trying to clear it. When I looked at them again, I noticed their chest areas. The yellow ones looked extremely familiar. Camaro! The front of the yellow one looked like the front of the Chevy Camaro my friend used to have, until he crashed it.
With my newest revelation I began looking at the red and silver ones, trying to see if they had any car parts on them. I wasn't a car junkie, but I knew some stuff. After another five minutes they had my shoulders unburied and they were able to hoist me up. The soldiers put me on the ground so I could see if I was able to stand. I was a tad sore and wobbly, but fine nonetheless. I looked down at my clothes. My black long sleeve shirt was ripped in some places and filthy. My jeans were torn at the knees and my shoes that were once white, were grey and brown. I sighed.
"Alright, let me see your right arm." A soldier said. He tenderly grabbed my arm. "I'm Graham by the way." He said. He lifted my arm only to hear me hiss in pain. My hiss soon turned into yell of pain. He gently put it back down. "Alright well let's get you to the med bay."
Everyone walked around me, as if I was some sort of prisoner leading me to a tarped area. Graham pushed the tent flap away from me and when I got inside, my jaw dropped. Not because of the many bodies around. No my eyes were set on the two robots in the corner. A lime green one, and a blue and red one that was missing an arm. Graham looked at me, trying to gauge my reaction. "I'm fine." I simply said. He, along with the other soldiers, the teen kid, and the other bots led me toward them. Graham set me on a bed near the giant one. I mean this guy had to have been about at least thirty feet. I quickly took my eyes off of it and looked around. On all the beds were soldiers, I wondered why I was here then.
"What the frag is that femme doing here?" I heard a voice from beside me say. I looked over and saw that the sound came from the lime green one. The voice was rough, and deep.
"Well, it seems she knows you guys are alien robots, and isn't even the slightest afraid of you." A soldier spoke up. I looked to him and looked toward his name tag. Lennox. Everyone looked toward me.
"I'm guessing this is my time to explain huh?" Lennox nodded. I looked around. The yellow bot just looked at me curiously. The big one, the red and blue one, looked at me. His gaze was patient and calming, but I looked into his eyes, uh, optics and felt like I was under a hot light being interrogated. I quickly looked away getting my bearings and looked toward the soldiers. I told the story of what I saw while everything was going down. Then I got to the part where I blacked out and stopped. I wasn't sure if I should tell them that some robots came to me in a vision.
"Is there more?" The teen guy asked. "Because I was just wondering how you made that purple light. Since you know, you don't have anything with you." He was snarky, but he was looking impatiently at me, waiting for me to answer. Looks like it's time to spill my guts.
"Ok well, to be honest, I don't know how I did that. When I blacked out, I sort of had a vision of sorts, or maybe it was a crazy dream because of my head trauma." That's when I realized the throbbing pain in the back of my head. I tried to ignore it. "In my vision, there were six robots, like you guys," I motioned toward the robots. "but they weren't so bulky, and they said how my intuition and intellect wasn't what I thought it was; that I had a destiny. That's when I woke up. I have no idea where that light came from."
Much to my surprise, no one looked at me like I was crazy, but looked toward the teen boy.
"Were you in a hot ass freaking desert too?" The guy asked. I nodded. "The Ancient Primes talked to her." He said as he threw his hands up in the air exasperated.
"The what? Are they like your gods or something?"
"Not quite. But the question is why did they contact you?" The lime green one said.
I shrugged. "They said my ability of seeing the truth would help later. So I'm guessing I'm supposed to help you guys since you know who they were."
I heard the boy standing a ways away mumbled about something being over.
"Hmm. What do you think Prime?" The lime one said. With the word Prime, I looked up and all around for the ones I saw in my vision. The lime one saw this. "The ones you saw were the first Primes. I'm talking about this one over here. A descendent."
I looked toward the red and blue robot.
"I think we should keep her around and question her. The Primes sent her here for a reason. Turning her away wouldn't help anyone." His voice vibrated the tent and me. The sound vibrated my chest and I gasped. "I am Optimus Prime. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron. But you can call us Autobots."
"Autobots. Finally I can call you something other than the blue eyed ones." I said. "So you're the good guys right? I would hate getting mixed up with the wrong crowd."
I heard chuckles behind me. "Yes we are the good guys. Our counterparts, the Decepticons, were the ones that did this to your city." I could see Optimus's eyes cast downward. He was upset.
"The red eyed ones. Gotcha. So you guys are here to protect the Earth from them. Am I correct?"
"She is rather smart isn't she? At least she isn't freaking out like the boy did." The lime one said.
The boy he was referring to was still talking to himself. I couldn't help but feel like I had ruined some plan of his.
Optimus hummed in agreement. "That is my medical officer, Ratchet."
I saw a stream of light emit from his optics and I felt a tingle go through me. Sort of like the fizzle of electricity. "Her right humerus seems to be broken. I'll get right on that."
"Speaking of arms. Are you okay?" I asked Optimus.
He looked taken aback by my question. But after a minute he simply said. "Nothing Ratchet can't fix."
I then felt a warm hand on my left shoulder. I looked up and saw a guy in a medical jacket. He looked to be in his mid-40's, greying hair on the sides of his otherwise light brown hair. Amazing blue eyes, that seemed to glow, and a lime green shirt underneath his jacket. I looked around and noticed Ratchet was gone. In its place was a lime green search and rescue hummer.
"So you guys can turn into vehicles." I stated. I heard static and then a 'yep' came from behind me. I turned to see the sound came from the yellow bot. "And you can turn into a Camaro."
He looked at me like he wanted to tell me that. Or show me. "How did you know?" He asked. It sounded like it came from different voices. Like as if it came from a radio.
"Well your chest is the front of the car. My friend used to have a Chevy Camaro. You also talk through the radio." I said again with a smirk.
They all stared at me for a moment. Then the yellow bot seemed to take on a happy demeanor and clapped, playing the sound of an audience cheering.
"Hm she is a smart femme." I heard a voice say. The voice came from the doctor that was now gently wrapping my injured arm.
"And you sound very familiar." I looked over toward the hummer and back at the doctor. "Whoa! Really? You guys can turn into people?" I asked, the inner nerd in me coming out. I unintentionally squirmed only to be restrained slightly by the human Ratchet.
"Not really. These are just solid projections I created for me and a few others. Mainly so I can assist human patients. Now I need to take off the sleeve of your right arm to see what I'm dealing with."
Before I could even protest, he ripped it off in one swift moment. I saw him freeze and I heard a gasp from him. "What in the name of Primus?" He said as he looked at my shoulder.
"What?" was my injury really that bad? I glanced down and saw what looked like a Japanese symbol etched in black on my shoulder. "Well that wasn't there before. Who reads Japanese?"
"This isn't Japanese. This is Cybertronian, the language of our race."
"Ok, so what does it say?" I asked.
"Sight."
Okie dokie, so I pretty much got most of this planned out. Pretty much. Lol that's the key words. There is still some stuff I need to work out in the plot line. Im always open to Comments Questions Concerns. Just tell me
