Rose was knocked to the ground and the attacker went for a blow to the face. She kicked at yelled but he wouldn't budge. Finally after struggling for a moment she kicked him in the groin. The man rolled over and heaved in pain. Rose regained her balanced as she attempted to stand. Then Rose realized the sword secure by her hip. She reached for it but then the outlaw kicked his feet around and hit Roses' ankles. The battle raged on until both of the fighters were at their wits end. The outlaw stood panting, Rose was on her hands and knees trying to catch her breath.
"I'm done fooling around with you", he said and punched Rose in the jaw causing her to lose consciousness.
The man moved in and hovered over his prey. He took out a dagger and raised his arm to strike when a single arrow was shot straight through the center of his back and he fell over dead.
Robin Hood walked over to where his victim lay and saw the girl that was fighting the deceased outlaw. She had been injured and needed some care. He took her in his arms and carried her off in the calm of the night.
