Poem- Alone

The storm rained down hard, as I staggered in.
The earth was shaking, almost as if it was acting the way I am.
I dropped on to my bed, too weary to look up again.
I don't understand, why she would walk away from me like that.
She looked utterly betrayed as she gazed into my eyes
What did I do?
I don't understand
I never did anything to her, I always tried to be the perfect gentleman
As I sat back up, I heard the door opening again.
I heard her call my name
I looked into her eyes, storm gray against sea green
I tried to hide it, but I knew it was there.
The look of hurt and anger
As she looked at me, I could see the contempt in her eyes.
I don't know what I did.
When she spoke, her voice was soft and mocking
"Such a Seaweed Brain."
"Good bye."
And then, I was alone again…
What have I done?
Can't she see it's better to leave me alone?
This wasn't making any sense.
Why do I have to be alone?
So….. This one was a little longer! Aren't you proud of me?
…No? Fine then, rude children these days….
