Hello everyone, thanks to all those that reviewed this story so far. I think I'm doing so much better with my writing in this one. I guess it's all about intent in getting it done right. Well in any case, I have bought the next chapter. Let me know what you think of this one.

Bella watched the Pack try to discuss on what to do about her safety especially now that she was considered part of the pack through Jared with annoyance. "If you guys are done talking about me as if I'm not here, perhaps I could stay on the reserve, I can see about doing my classes online, and maybe this is the time when I should probably tell Charlie the truth about what's really going on." She said as silence ensued. Almost everyone had guilty looks on their faces as she had called them out. Sam looked at her calmly. "Are you sure Bella?" He asked her. Bella nodded.

"Yeah I'm sure, though I have no clue on where I could stay." Sam was quiet for a while but almost nodded to himself. "Would you like to stay with me and Emily? We have one more room that you could use with a desk for your things. And I think sitting down with your dad might be a good idea if you're to stay here though the elders might protest." He told her. Bella gave him a small smile. "Thank you, Sam, I think that's a perfect idea. I'll talk to my dad tonight, though could I perhaps burrow Jared for the night?" She asked shyly, fluttering her brown doe like eyes towards her mate, watching as he smiled at her softly, she almost wanted to look away, but she didn't.

Sam nodded. "I know it's not how we usually do things and it's in Cullen's territory, but he could help protect you for the night. I don't see how he couldn't stay with you." He agreed with her. Bella beamed at him. "Thank you, Sam, I guess I'll go ahead and see you in the morning?" She said to him, and he nodded as her and Jared left, getting in her truck.

It was quiet on the way home when Bella had let Jared drive them since she didn't want to drive while she was distracted with everything that went on the past day or so. "Are...are you alright with this Bella?" Jared asked her quietly, as if shy of the answer. "Bella turned to look at Jared only to see his hands tense on the wheels and shoulders taunt. His dark chocolate eyes were guarded against her.

"Well, to be honest, the whole mate thing is a new concept to me but if the ancestor's thinks we're compatible for each other, then who am I to deny them? Maybe we could start by getting to know each other a bit and continue on from there." It took a few minutes during the ride to her dad's that he finally relaxed, and he turned to give her a grateful smile. He held his hand out for a bit, as if wanting to hold hers, and she let him.

The rest of the ride home was filled in a comfortable silence and Bella could feel the warmth seeping through Jared's hand and the blush on her cheeks. Finally, nearly an hour from La Push, they pulled in through her dad's drive way, and she sighed with relief when she noticed that her dad was home early. She blinked when Jared got out of her truck and like a gentleman, opened her door out with his hand held out for her. "Ma Lady, if you'd please." He said in one of those England butler voice, causing her to giggle at him in amusement, and he chuckled back at her. "Ready to tell the chief everything?" He asked her as he lifted her up from the truck and gently onto the ground.

Bella shook her head as nerves filled through her. "I'm terrified to be honest. I've lied to him about something huge since I started to live with him again, I'm afraid he'd might never want to talk to me again." She said quietly, causing Jared to frown at her and pulled her into a hug, tucking her head underneath his chin, nuzzling her soft brown hair with his cheek, sighing softly.

Bella almost chuckled nervously when she spotted her dad sneaking a look through the living room curtains. "Well he's watching so lets get this started." She tried to say encouragingly that had Jared chuckling at her in amusement.

When they approached the front door, they walked in and Bella saw her dad sitting in the dining table through the small hallway, he was cleaning out his shot gun. "Hi dad, I uh, have someone I want you to meet." Bella said in a nervous bundle that had Charlie looking at her with a critical eye and turned to Jared and started sizing him up and down.

Charlie watched the man standing next to his only daughter with a stink eye. The boy was copper skinned like Jacob but that's where the similarities ended. He had muscles rippled all over his body, and he was tall, even taller than he was. It was like this kid was built using steroids or something. He was immediately on alert, he hoped this one wasn't worse than that controlling Edwin freak. "What's your name son?" He asked him stiffly. Jared was tensed watching his mate's father before him, he could tell the man was wary of him and with his mate's experience in men such as the Cullen mind reader, he wasn't surprised he would be overprotective of his only daughter.

"My name is Jared Cameron, sir." He answered him and Charlie's eyes looked at him appraising. "How is your mother, Alyssa, been doing lately? Last I heard from Billy that she was a little sick for a while." Charlie asked him. Jared almost deflated a bit but smiled at him softly. " She's doing a lot better now, she can't eat too much though." He answered the man and Charlie was quiet for a bit. "Was there something you needed to tell me Bells?" He asked his daughter.

Bella gulped nervously a bit before she sat down across from her dad, Jared decided to stand behind, reassuringly putting his warm big hand comfortably on her shoulder. Charlie watched them with a critical eye. "There's something I probably should have told you in the very beginning Dad, but it wasn't a secret that was mine to tell. Just earlier today, something reveled that it was time I told you." She started. Charlie was ready to jump conclusions right then and there. He narrowed his eyes at her. "You're not pregnant are you, damn it Bella, I told you not to do that shit." He said angrily, his face turning a dark shade of bruising purple that Jared watched in fascination, keeping quiet until his mate needed him to step in.

Bella blushed furiously at her dad jumping to conclusions and frantically shook her head in negativity. "No dad! I'm not pregnant, it's not as simple as that, but I would like it if you'd not interrupt while I explain." Charlie sighed with relief at his daughter's answer of pregnancy.

After a big breath, Bella exhaled some of her nervousness away and began explaining to her dad just what she had kept him in the dark of, Cullen's, vampires, the Pack, werewolves, you name it, and bit by bit, you could see Charlie's face continue to get darker by the minute and Bella was concerned he wasn't breathing. After a long moment of silence, Bella got fidgety and started to get worried at what her dad would say in response to her story.

"You mean to tell me that the Cullen's had been controlling you ever since you found out what they were and Billy knew and wouldn't tell me?" He said quietly but deadly. Bella nodded nervously. Then a look of confusion filled his face for a bit. "Then how are you out of their control now since I know they're still here?" He asked her. Bella blushed a bit as she caught her mates attention as well, curiosity filled through his eyes. "You could say that I have a strong mind, Edward is a mind reader, I think I was the only one he ever came across that he couldn't read, I guess that's why they tried to see if they could control me, but I've been in a slight daze the last few days, just fighting for control. Just today though, I feel so clear-headed, like I can do what I always what without someone over ruling me. I think that when it all stopped, the mind control, everything healed and became a bright light when Jared here imprinted on me. " She told him quietly.

Charlie was quiet as he tried to mule over the words his only daughter told him about the Cullen's and meeting Jared. His eyes narrowed a bit when he heard the word imprinted. "Imprinted, is that another word for soul mates then?" He asked Jared.

Jared nodded. "Yes Chief Swan, for us though, it's different from the tales or soul mates that you hear from the books or movies. For us, all it takes is an instant look after we have phased into Wolves for the first time. All we could ever do is function on the one girl. She holds the world and it's axis, and it's her choice about what we could be, a brother, a friend, or even a lover. We would never be able to think of another woman after meeting her, they don't exist to us." He said with admiration melting through his expression as he stared at Bella as he explained, causing her to blush bright red at all the attention on her.

Charlie watched Jared's interaction with Bella, and he nodded to himself, he approved of this mating, but even then, he'll be watching, waiting. "Alright then. I appreciate that you told me this Bells, and I'm not saying I don't approve of what you just told me, I do, but I really just need to think on this whole matter, maybe even talk to Billy once I get a clear head." He told her as he watched relief fill through her pretty brown doe eyes but nervousness filled her again. Resignation filled through him again. "What is it Bella? I can read you like a book with that face of yours." He told her.

Bella breathed in a butt load of air, squeezing the hand of her mate in reassurance. "Well dad, considering that the Cullen's are still here, the Pack and I agreed that for my safety, they want me to move to La Push." She blurted it out as they watched in trepidation as Charlie started to turn dark again, and they waited for him to say something through the silence as it started to grow awkward in the small kitchen.

Well everyone, here is the second chapter. Sorry it took me a while, I've been busy with life but here it is, finally finished. This one is where Bella revealed everything to her father, Charlie Swan, about what she had been up to since she started living with him in Forks, Washington.
