Luna's House~

"Damn it! This shit is all wrong!" I panicked a little while pacing the floor of the living room. Thinking to myself wondering how all this even started and how come no one saw signs of this before it even spread this fast. I reach for my phone trying to call my parents to see what going on where their location. That's is when I start hearing gunfire and sirens going off. I quickly looked around my house in a panic trying to find a weapon of sort. Since I was close to the kitchen I got a knife from the drawer. As soon as I got the knife I heard glass breaking and a door being broken down. Fear climbing up my spine I'm shaking a little bit, okay understatement I am shaking a lot. I walk around the corner of the kitchen that meets the living room and sees my next door neighbor laying on the floor. I hold my breath as I watch him get off the floor slowly and very creepy like. I mean don't get it twisted the guy has always been creepy to me the way he always stares at me like a hungry predator waiting to dine on its prey. Now he's even creepier as a zombie and his eyes are making my sink crawl. Their pale with no color in them what so ever and life is none existent in them. Once again I hold my breath as he seemly makes eye contact with me and then he did something I did not think a zombie or anything that was dead would do. He smiled at me. This. Fucker. Smiled. At. Me. All I can hear in my ears is my heart beat as it feels like time stop at this creepy shit. I was too dumbfounded to move but my instinct for Fight or flight were kicking into overdrive, but I was stuck and I could not move. Then the bastard start to walk towards me, my eyes grew big and I started to tremble even more.

Luna, what the hell are you doing? Move your ass girl before you become creepy zombie food. I listen to my inner self and slow started to back up to the back door only to meet the claws of another zombie. Now, it's time to scream like a panther and run so I did just that. And let me tell you rule number one: Never and I mean never scream while surrounded by flesh-eating walkers. More of those damn things started to show up from the backyard and the front. Some of them were moving fast then the other and what do I do? Panic, like a noob. Whoever said that they would be ready for a zombie apocalypse because they play a lot of videogames or read a bunch of novels on the topic are a bunch of crazy loonytoon liars. Nothing prepares you for this shit. I have had combat training at an early age and came face to face with a real live bear standing on his back legs at me and let me tell you that was some scary shit to have in front of you. But, This! No! No way in hell are you prepared for people that you know since you were a kid and had laughs with that are now walking around trying to eat your face off. "Nope, not ready for that at all."

With my brief moment of monologing, one of the infected scratched me on my left upper arm. I feel the stinging pain go from my arm to the brain and back again. "Shit!" I started to fall back towards the basement door, then out of nowhere one of the zombies' leaps over the horde of them with his mouth wide open. My eyes zoned in on him and by natural reflex, I bring my arms up to block the attack. Bad mistake. The next thing I know or in this case feel are sharp teeth sinking into my right lower arm. I hiss at the pain and stab the bastard off me another rule you should never break. Rule number two never attack or kill a zombie around other infected, the reaction is... Violence. They scream and started to charge me and by the Gods, man I read too much PJO, the basement door came open. I get inside and slam the door close with Flash speed and blot it shut. I have never been so thankful for one of dads' installment of a steel door in my life. Mom nagged him about putting this kind of door up but right now I am so thankful that I could kiss the ground he walks on. Maybe not that far, but he totally gets the best dad ever award. After getting my bearings I reach for my iPhone that I thankfully placed in my pocket before all this happen.

"I need to call mom or dad and tell them to send someone to help me." Then I feel a sharp pain go through both of my arms at the same time as I descend down the stairs. My vision started to get distorted and my legs became jello. I was losing strength in my legs and it was become hard to breathe. I fall down right at the feet of the stairs dropping my phone on the floor. My breathing becomes labor and I start to sweat.

"Just great I'm going to die on this floor alone." Saying threw gritted teeth as pain start to shoot all through my body.

Breathing becomes harder and harder as my heart starts to quicken. Then suddenly I could no longer breathe and I lay there listening to my heart beat slowly in my ears. 'Till there was nothing and all I saw was darkness.

The very last tear leaves Luna Ookami eyes and darkness takes them over. She lays there as if to be in a deep frozen state of sleep.

Time 4:15 pm~

At a Government Firm (7 am) ~

"Quickly come in Mr. and Mrs. Ookami." being lead into an office with the head of the firm and his secretary. They all shack hands while taking their seats so they can get started on the meeting.

"So does anyone like to tell me how all this started." the head stated.

"To all due respect sir, but the virus started at zone 13." one worker pointed out.

"Can it be contain?" worker number two stated with panic in his eyes.

The Ookami couple are only listening and observing the meeting before placing their own concerns on the table. "No not with it already spreading among the population." one scientist informs them.

That's when the couple stops being quiet. "So you're telling us that whatever this virus is came from Zone 13 and you can control or stop it." Jack Ookami stated with a very serious face. Elsi grabs his hand to calm him down while giving her wolf glare to the men in the room.

You might be wondering why Lunas' parents are in the seemly very important meeting. Well, Luna was not far off the mark when you call her parents spies. They both worked for the black op force that were pretty much ghost. Not many people knew of their stats except the people in the meeting and the president of course. The only reason why they are not still in ops is because they got married and Elsi was pregnant. Secondly, they were the only two left out of the forty members of their platoon. They were known for recon, interrogation, infiltration, and intelligence gathering. The Ookami couple crew was known as the yeast of the bread, without it, you won't have any good bread. Meaning with information or an inside man, the mission was dark for the inforce crew.

"How do you plan to handle this safely, sir." Elsi asked with her wolf glare still in place. That glare of hers could make the toughest of males cry for their mommy.

"To tell you the truth we don't know either. The white house is out of reach and many government are told to shred and destroy all information or evidence leading to this." the head said.

"I knew it was a bad idea to go messing with something we did not understand." Jack stated. "Am not a scientist, but I know not to mess with a rift that just shows up out of nowhere?"

"You know as well as I do that there was no way around this." the scientist said angrily at Jack.

Before the argument could get heated the people in the room started to hear screams and gunshots in the building. Jack and Elsi pull out their weapons while instructing everyone else to move to one side of the room. Hard loud banging are being hit on the door like something was trying to break in. One of the employees turn on the TV in the room to show the outside door camera and what they saw horrified them. It looks like World War 2 was happening behind that door. While they were being shocked one of the infected broke through the door, after that it was gun-hoe-blazing.

There was no need to worry about the Ookami couple they were able to escape with the group from the meeting by helicopter to a safe zone. As they look from the view of the helicopter they see the city in destruction. And all they could think about was their daughter and if she was safe.
