"Woah, woah, woah- what was that?"

"I just kissed you."

"Why? I just told you, I just got out of a relationship and I'm flattered, I really am but um-" I cut Austin off by running away. "Ally, come back!"

I ran away as fast as possible. Damn it. How did this happen?

When I get home from school I'm shocked to find that all my letters are gone. Every. Single. One. I'm starting to panic a bit.

Where could they have gone? Who mailed them?

"Ally, Dallas is here to see you." Says my little sister Kitty.

"Um- I'm not here." I say quickly before hopping out of my window and riding my bike to the beach club.

"The usual sweetie?" The kind waitress asks me.

" Yes please."

"And what can I get your friend?" I look around confused to see Austin Moon sitting next to me.

"He's not my friend."

"I'll take a chocolate shake."

The waitress leaves to get the order but not before mouthing "he's cute".

"So um what are you doing here?" I ask, not really wanting an answer.

"Oh, you know- just here to take down one those chocolate shakes. And your sister said you'd be here."

I cringe.

"Listen- I just wanna make sure you understand that I'm just not ready for a new relationship-"

"I'm not trying to date you Austin."

"That's what you're saying but you see your mouth said something else-"

"I only kissed you so that another guy wouldn't think I'd like him."

"Ok, who?"

"I'm not gonna tell you!"

"Well tell me or I'm just gonna assume you have a secret tattoo of me on your ass."

I rolled my eyes.

"Dallas Kavinsky"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa- didn't he go out with your sister?"

"And know you can see how complicated that one will be."

"Wait, so how many letters are there in the first place?"

"five."

"Damn Ally, you're a player. You think you're special."

"Trust me, there is no one like you Austin."

"Is that supposed to be an insult?" I giggled. "Maybe we could help each other?"

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I mean it drove Kira crazy when we kissed. Maybe you and I should fake date?"

I'm not quite sure what to say to that.
