Thank y'all for the reviews of the last chapter. So I don't have much to say this time around except that I don't own Naruto or any of the characters. So here is chapter 2 for you guys!
Also some questions that needed answered. Naruto is inside the Tsukuyomi, but his body is still in the real world, if that makes any sense. Just think of how Itachi placed Kakashi and Sasuke in the Tsukuyomi when he returned to the village in part 1 of Naruto. Also Naruto woke up from being in a comatose state because that's how he expected to wake up after the events of "The Depression of a Shinobi". It's similar to how people can think themselves sick.

Into the Tsukuyomi
"I'm.. so glad you're ok Hinata. P-please be safe-" He was cut off mid-sentence as he lost consciousness and began to fall backwards pulling Hinata with him.
Hinata braced to hit the ground as they were falling but the rough landing on the ground never happened. Hinata looked up, surprised to see the man who had caught them both so suddenly.
"Lord Fourth Hokage…"

"Thank you for finding my son Team Kurenai. He decided to leave the hospital today right after waking up apparently. And from the looks of things he wanted to find you of all people Hinata." Hinata blushed as she untangled herself from Naruto's arms, as much as she didn't want to.
"It's no trouble Lord Hokage, we're just glad to see Naruto up and running around again. It got boring in the village while he was in the hospital." Spoke Kurenai trying to get Hinata out of the spotlight. She knew the effect Naruto had on her, and if the conversation went on much further there was no doubt she would faint.
"Yes it has, and again I thank you. I have to get him back to the hospital, when you return from your mission he should be back up and around." With that he put Naruto on his back and disappeared with a bright yellow light.
Team Kurenai turned back to head out the gate, Hinata was smiling with glee while Shino and Kurenai had their usual expressions on their face. Kiba kept glancing over at Hinata with a grin that basically said 'I'm not letting this go any time soon.'
Kiba broke the silence shortly after with a small question directed at Shino but also at Hinata in a sort. "So he said he wanted Hinata to be safe, what was that you said about when someone loves another Shino?" Kiba couldn't help himself, he had a very smug grin on his face.
Hinata's face lit up red and she tried to make herself as small as possible. Although, against what she had wanted, her mind went into overload at the thought of Naruto loving her. She promptly passed out.

Not far out from Konoha a team was returning from a mission they had to grass country. It wasn't much more than a B-rank mission involving some smuggling and some B-rank missing ninja from Kumo.
"Do you think he's ok?"
"Don't worry about that loser so much."
"That 'loser' is your best friend and our teammate. Plus he saved both of us from dying that day, we both owe him our lives."
"Hn."
"Are you guys talking about the dickless one in the hospital?"
"Shut up Sai!" Sakura hated when Sai talked bad about Naruto. Sure she never really treated him that well, but they have known each other for years. Sai had seen Naruto once in the hospital and started making assumptions.
"But I read in one of my books, that if a girl is worried about a boy, it means she cares for him. Isn't that right ugly?" Sai turned to her and gave her his fake smile that always got on Sakura's nerve.
Before anything registered with Sai he was knocked a hundred yards down the path they were travelling and laying in the dirt. He turned to see an angry looking Sakura walking his way. "I don't care for him the way you're suggesting and above all things, you never call a girl ugly. Especially one that can break every bone in your body, heal you, and repeat the process."
Luckily for Sai, Sasuke had approached them at the same time Sakura had cocked back her fist to knock him 8 feet into the ground. "Sakura, drop it. He isn't worth the time."
Sakura looked back at Sasuke and nodded her head slightly. She turned back to Sai to give him another rage filled glare. "You got lucky." She quickly ran to catch up to Sasuke and walked next to him.
Sai dusted himself off as he stood up. He didn't know what he had said wrong. Lucky for him 'pissy' as he liked to call Sasuke, was able to stop her from beating him into the ground. He was definitely going to have to look further into his books if he ever hoped to be friends with either of these two.

Naruto was a little dizzy when he woke up. He heard the sounds of the heartbeat monitor next to his bed again. He was in the hospital again. Why don't they ever let him just leave the hospital, don't they realize how much he hates it?
His eyes opened to see Jiraiya leaning up against a wall staring out the window and a blonde haired man sitting right next to him with his head down looking as if to be in prayer. They both remained quiet as Naruto studied the blonde. The man wore a blue jumpsuit, with the standard konoha flak jacket. He also wore a white robe with flames on the bottom. There were kanji on the back but Naruto couldn't make out what it said.
As Naruto studied the man Jiraiya finally turned back towards him and smiled. "Hey squirt, you're up! How ya feeling?" At this both Naruto and the other blonde turned to Jiraiya. The older blonde didn't say much as he turned from Jiraiya to look at Naruto.
Naruto was so glad to see Jiraiya again, he hadn't seen him since he… told him who his father was. It was then that it clicked, the man sitting in the room with them. The blonde hair, the same blue eyes. It was the fourth hokage, it was his father.
Naruto just stared emptily at the man. He couldn't decide to be happy or royally fucking mad. He would come back to his feelings about his dad in a moment. He turned back to Jiraiya again to answer him. He gave him a foxy grin before answering. "As good as I always am pervy sage!"
Jiraiya about face faulted at that. He was glad that Naruto was alright but, he never was able to break him of calling him that tasteless nickname. He knew he was a pervert but dammit, HE WAS THE KING OF PERVERTS! He so deserved a better name than that, or so he thought.
They were interrupted by the other blonde man chuckling. They turned their attention to him to see him smiling at Naruto but turning back to Jiraiya. "Pervy Sage huh? It suits you quite well Jiraiya-sensei."
"Don't you go getting any ideas about calling me that too Minato. I don't care if you are the hokage, I'll teach you some respect for your elders, especially your sensei!" Jiraiya wasn't mad but he would definitely play mad to get a good laugh with the both of them. After all they were both his students.
"No worries, I know that. I hoped Naruto would too, but apparently not. I think Kushina would agree on the nickname though." Minato stated honestly. He was happy to see that they got along so well. But not nearly as happy as he was to see his son smiling again.
The name took a minute to register with Naruto. It seemed foreign to him, like it didn't belong. But he was told his mother's name alongside his father's, and her name was Kushina.
The three were snapped out of their little bonding session as there were screams out in the hallway. There were random medic's voices yelling stuff like 'you can't go in there!' and 'No, please stay back!' The former was usually always followed by the latter. Then a crash was heard and another person yelling.
"I'm going to see my son! I don't care if the hokage ordered for no one else in there or not! I'll beat the hokage's ass if he thinks keeping me out is a good idea!" The voice had an effect on Minato as he visually paled. He didn't think she would be this mad, nor would she force herself through the hospital. He should have known better though.
Naruto noticed his father cringing, and although he still was mad at him for the whole 'I'm gonna seal a demon inside of you then both of us, your mother and I, are going to die and let you grow up alone and hated' thing. He did still feel sorry for the man. He could only assume that this was his mother that had so violently pushed her way through the hospital. And from the sound of it, she was very, very scary. She kind of reminded him of Sakura. But at the same time, Shikamaru and Kiba did always say moms were scary.
That train of thought was brought to an abrupt halt as the door flung open revealing a very irate red haired woman. She sent death glares at both Minato and Jiraiya but when she turned towards Naruto she went from mad to tears of joy.
She ran over to Naruto and hugged him senselessly. "Naruto, I'm so glad you're ok. Please never do anything like that again." She held on to him with everything she had, she didn't want him to do anything so reckless again.
"How… How long was I out?" Naruto asked the three in the room. Kushina had settled by Naruto's bedside and held onto his hand. Naruto somehow felt secure with her there. Her touch was the same as whenever the person, whom he now assumed to be his mother, caressed his cheek.
It was his father who spoke up to answer his question. "Well, since you decided to chase one of your friends down, which I will want to know about later, you were out for a few hours since then. But I'm guessing you wanted to know the time length for the first time. You were in a coma for four months."
Naruto sat stunned. 'Four months? I've already wasted that much time? I need to be training! I can't be wasting my time like this!' Naruto remained quiet before speaking. "Well, if that's the case. Then I better get up and get going. I need to get stronger, I need to be able to protect my friends."
Naruto had thrown his feet over the edge of the bed. Unclasped the heart monitor off of his finger and attempted to stand up. Kushina, however was not having this. She had placed her hand on his shoulder, which he guessed was initially to help him gain his balance, but when she forced him to stay on the bed, he got upset.
"Why won't you let me up!?"
"You're still recovering Naruto. You don't need to push yourself so hard."
Naruto stared up at her defiantly. He didn't care if she was his mother, he was going to get stronger. He kept trying to stand up and every time he would just be pushed back down onto the bed. Minato and Jiraiya just stared at him and his mother. Minato knew they at times clashed a lot, being they were both very stubborn, and it was definitely something Naruto took after her. But this was actually amusing to watch.
Jiraiya had to stifle a laugh as he watched his student repeatedly try to stand up and immediately get pushed down by his mom. Each time he would do this she would respond and then he would give her a glare and she would glare right back. No words were needed to sense what both were saying to each other.
It went on like that for a good five minutes before Jiraiya couldn't take it anymore. He let out a huge bellowing laugh and Minato soon followed. Kushina and Naruto both gave them a glare before Kushina spoke up. "Don't think I have forgotten about you Minato." The man immediately shut up but this just elicited more laughter from Jiraiya. 'How could my student be so freaking whipped! It's freaking hilarious, did he not pick anything up from being the King of the Perverts' student!'
"And Jiraiya, don't think I won't hesitate to tell Tsunade that you were peeping on her again in the hot springs!" The thought of Tsunade pummeling him again was enough to make the man stop laughing.
Both men were standing in attention as Kushina scolded them. Naruto watched how scary she could be towards the men in her life so he made a mental note not to piss her off. He guessed she was only giving him today off since he woke up from his 'coma.'
"Well if I don't get to leave I want to ask some questions." Naruto watched as they all turned to him. He now had their full undivided attention.
"My first question is when will I be able to leave this freaking hospital? And after which how long until I can start training again?"
Minato looked at the two before answering his son. He knew he could get him out of the hospital but wasn't sure on how long until he was able to train. "I can get you out of the hospital today but training may have to wait a little. You still need to get your strength back after all. You collapsed from exhaustion today and about hurt one of your fellow shinobi in the process."
Naruto was shocked. He almost hurt Hinata? But, that was one of the last things he wanted. She was probably mad at him now.
Naruto brought his head down before speaking. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean or want to hurt her. She came in at some point and she was on the verge of tears. I couldn't stand for her to be like that. Do you know when she will be back?"
"Her and her team will be back by next week. And don't worry she wasn't mad at you." This news brought Naruto up with a glimmer in his eyes.
"Last question. What exactly happened to me that put me into a coma?"
All three stood quiet. None were really sure what exactly happened other than what the report had said. "I think it would be best if your team told you. I don't have all the facts and they were there with you."
Naruto nodded his head. Right after he finished nodding there was a knock at the door and in entered Tsunade. She wore her traditional outfit with the green sweater that always made her look her age. But despite that, she still looked twenty.
Tsunade studied the room until her eyes landed on Naruto. She sighed and spoke. "Naruto, next time you plan on running away from the hospital, leave a note or something."
Naruto expected a scolding from her as was his usual, just like the other times he would run away from the hospital. He just stared at Tsunade but was brought from his trance by Minato.
"So is he ok to leave or will he have to stay much longer Tsunade?"
"We will have to run a few basic tests but outside of that, he should be able to leave later this afternoon." Tsunade responded.
"Ok, well there is a few things I need to take care of. I will be back to see you out Naruto." Minato smiled and left the others.
Jiraiya soon started walking out the door followed by Tsunade. "Later kid, and there's something I wanna teach you later on. But it will have to wait for now, I have something out of the village to take care of."
Soon it was only Naruto and Kushina in the room. Naruto had sat back down in bed and was staring at his sheets in thought. Naruto tried to get his mind around everything that was happening. He had memories of growing up alone, which he was sure were real, but he also had memories of growing up with his parents.
His thoughts were interrupted at a cough from his bedside. He turned to see bright violet eyes staring at him. "Soooo, who was this girl you were so eager to see?"
Naruto blushed at the thought. Not even 10 minutes after meeting her she was already in his love life? Moms are even more persistent than what Shikamaru or Kiba made them out to be.
"W-well um, her name's, uh Hinata." 'Why am I embarrassed about this? And a stutter, REALLY?!' Naruto mentally scolded himself.
"You mean the daughter of Hiashi? Ooh I've seen and talked to her before, she is really pretty Naruto and really nice too." Kushina had squealed like a school girl finding out her best friend's crush when she was talking to him about Hinata. Kushina then moved closer to whisper something in his ear, like it needed to be a secret even with no one else in the room. "In all honesty, I like her more than that Sakura girl you chased around for a while there."
Naruto again blushed. Another surprising thing happened. Not only had he told his mother about his liking of Hinata, if only vaguely, but she also approved of her. But he still did have to talk to his dad about this.
Time flew by as Kushina continued to talk to him. He didn't even care. He just reveled in the fact that he finally felt at ease with someone. He felt secure, there was not many other words to describe how he felt, being around his mom.
Eventually Tsunade came back in and took a few blood samples and gave him a routine check-up. After an hour waiting for the results once again Tsunade entered and gave him the all clear to leave.
Naruto took a glance at the clock on the wall, the hands told him it was six in the afternoon. Once he stood up he about fell over from dizziness. Lucky for him Kushina caught him and helped him out the door after she draped his jacket over him.
The walk out of the hospital felt like forever. The stairs were the worse part since Naruto's head was still spinning. Other than that it was just a slow process getting past all of the nurses and doctors that seemed to line the hallways.
As they got to the lobby, Naruto could feel the spring air on his face. It was a nice feeling and he felt relieved to be getting out of the hospital finally.
The walk back to their house, which Naruto had no idea where it was, was relatively silent. She knew everything that had happened to Naruto in his life with them, but he didn't know much of it. While he could feel that the memories were there, he couldn't make much sense out of them.
After a long fifteen minute walk they finally arrived at the Namikaze estate. The house was rather large and Naruto was almost intimidated by it. He had never had a house to call his own, except the small rundown apartment that he had, and the apartment he shared with Hinata for a month.
As they walked up the stairs Naruto almost felt an ominous feeling. It felt like he wasn't supposed to go into the house for something might happen. Naruto stopped a few stairs short of the door.
Kushina quickly took note of this and gave him a questioning look. "Naruto is everything ok?"
"I- I'm not sure. Something doesn't feel right." Naruto spoke with a shakiness in his voice, something Kushina noticed.
"Don't worry it's alright. If anything happens I'll protect you." Kushina said with a smile.
Naruto just stared at her. Nobody ever really tried to protect him before. Aside from the time Sasuke threw himself in front of Haku's needles, or the time Hinata stopped all of those wasps with her 'Protecting 8 trigrams 64 palms' technique.
Naruto not knowing what else to do nodded and continued into the door. He was met by darkness and when Kushina flipped on the lights there were suddenly more people in the house than he expected. His dad and his team were standing not far from him. There was also team Asuma. Team Kurenai was absent for obvious reasons, and the Konohamaru corp. was there as well. Iruka and the Ichiraku's were standing off to the side. And to the far right was team Gai.
Naruto noted every person in the room. Two people stood out the most to him. The first was a pale white boy with black hair and was clearly wearing a false smile. The other, Naruto felt his fists and teeth clench at.
"Sasuke…"

I tried to get Kushina's character right, but I feel I didn't do too well with her, and I'm worried a little about Minato's character as well. I'll try to get them down pact.
