I DO NOT OWN Balto NOR DO I OWN Alpha and Omega

A Story on how a spirit became strong, how a Omega became an alpha, how those words does not effect Love, a story on how Lilly became Aniu, Balto's mother, hurt, death and eventually life.

"When every creature in the world is born" the mouse smiled "There is a spirit guiding them, protecting them"

"Why?" Lily raised an eyebrow

"To put it in simple terms, everyone has a destiny" The mouse coughed "You are an alpha, but you don't know it"

"Me an Alpha?" Lily laughed "I can barely say hello to other wolves"

"For you to move onto your destiny, you have to make the choice" The mouse smiled as it started to disappear "That's where your destiny starts" Throwing some purple, green, yellow and red dust onto her head.

"Wait!" Lily barked "Come back" She stood up "I have more questions!"

Starring into the night sky, her eyes scanned for any trace.

'maybe it was in my head' Shaking her head she heard something in the distance. Ears perked up she ran towards the noise. Running to the clearing she stopped see a sled dog team barking, growling and trying to get free from their harnesses.

There was a human man, wearing a brown jacket and black pants. His hat was on the ground in front of him. Upon looking at his face, fear was very much there.

A blur of white and brown jumped into view. The large cat hissed at the human. A Cougar slowly stalking towards the human.

'oh no' Lily looked around for an alpha 'someone help, he'll die if someone-' Stopping she remembered the spirit that she encountered 'you have to make the choice' Lily growled and lifted her tail. Running passed the sled dogs, she blended in with the snow. Only trace of her was her paw prints. She raced towards the Cougar. Biting down on the tail of the Cougar getting it's attention. The cougar slapped Lily away from itself. Lily landed on her feet growling. Slowly walking in a circle ending up in front of the human.

"Back off" she showed her teeth "He's not to eat"

"Foolish wolf" The cougar hissed launching herself at Lily "You're dead"

"Stupid cat" Lily growled jumping out of the way, she jumped towards the cat, biting her ear tearing it off "Leave him be"

"Or what?" The cougar slashed Lily on the side

"Or this!" Lily attacked the cougar. Biting the shoulder of the cat, Lily tore the skin. Moving in just the right amount of time, she dodged the claws of the cat. Their fight was vicious one, the hunter could barely keep his eyes on the two. Blurs of white, brown, and red became one. slowly the fighting stopped. Dots of blood were still falling onto the white snow. The cougar ended up on the ground, with Lily on top. Huffing and puffing. Pinning the cougar on the ground with one of her paws on the high stomach and neck of the cougar. She howled gaining everyone's attention by them. Panting Lily growled.

"I do not wish to kill" Lily growled "You have cubs don't you"

"Yes" the Cougar whimpered

"Then get out of here" Lily got off the cougar, backing up she stood in front of the human

"why are you doing this?" The cougar stumbled onto her feet

"It's my choice" Lily panted "Leave" She barked

Wordless the cougar took off leaving the human and his dogs.

Lily watched the cougar run back into the woods. As soon as the cougar was not in sight, she howled. The sled dog team stopped barking and growling seeing the white wolf. Lily limped away, looking back. Lily saw the human get up and watch her leave. Tearing her head from looking at the human she took off into a painful run. Finally making her way back to the little stream, she was once at. Laying down on her side. Her head rested on a rock.

'why' Lily frowned 'Why'd i do that?' She had suppressed all of her emotions, that now were released. She howled in pain, in sadness. Her howl was pure, one tune from the beginning to the end. The sky now had the northern lights dance along the sky. She kept howling, until she felt a prick in her lower back.

"what?" Lily stopped looking towards her lower back, she saw a red dark 'oh crap'

Lily stumbled around shaking her head to stay awake.

Trying to keep her eyes open as her body fell to the ground.

Blurry peach colour with some red and brown, all seemed to mix together as she closed her eyes.
