So this chapter has Glee episode Never Been Kissed. Sorta. I did the whole Rachel kissed Puckerman plot earlier because the whole Kurt/David thing is moot. It is a little boring, but he will meet Dudley hopefully in the next chapter.

This has been rewritten, and I will be working on the rest soon. Hopefully I'll get it done by the end of August, the rewrite that is, I don't see the story ending any time soon. Not until Harry's last year that is.

I don't Own!

ENJOY!

Kurt felt like his arms and legs were going to fall off. His whole body was aching. Kurt almost regrets asking his uncle to exercise with him. He had gone through a lot to convince his uncle that real people, normal people, exercise to get in shape.

Unfortunately, his uncle Vernon had gotten Kurt to agree to be his exercise partner.

Now, Kurt wasn't out of shape, not in the slightest. But when you need to do the same thing over and over, and over, again because your uncle refused to allow you to get ahead of him, but was too slow to keep up with you, well, it got Kurt a lot more exercise then training with Coach Sue. That in and of itself is a feat he never thought possible.

Kurt groaned after flopping down on his bed ungracefully. He just wanted to lie there and die. He glared at his phone when it buzzed.

Hummel? Because Santana knows the exact time he doesn't want to interact and texts at just the right moment.

What? He's just glad you can't hear the snap over text.

Don't be snippy with me. I was just going to fill you in on the drama. Figured you need the daily dose. I'm sure it gets boring there in tweed land.

Been talking with Puckerman?

That's none of your business.

Okay. So, what's been going on then?

Mr. Schue is so trying to get Miss Doe Eyes into the sack.

Really? I thought Miss Pillsbury was dating the hot dentist?

She is. I think Mr. Schue has a major case of the green.

Interesting. How about everything else?

Got a new member. Sam, I think he's tryin to get into Fabray's pregnancy stretched pants.

Does every guy you know want to get into someone's pants?

All but you sweet thing.

I'm very flattered; don't ever call me that again.

I have to go. Coach is helping with the play and has us all working our asses off.

Okay. Talk to you later Satan.

Talk to you later Sweet Thing.

Kurt hadn't really heard from his friends much. Santana, David, and Puck would text him here and there, sometimes calling, but it seemed like the rest of his friends have, forgotten about him.

Well, not Brittney, Never Brittney. Santana had told him how Brittney had been talking about him a lot. He was sure that the girl just couldn't figure out how to contact him. He wouldn't be too surprised.

Sometimes he would get some random text from Brittney at any given time, sometimes about how school was going, but mostly about her cat and his adventures while she was gone.

Kurt groaned again when he heard his stomach growl. His aunt Petunia wasn't there this week. Kurt had convinced her to go to a women's conference in France. Unfortunately, that left the cooking and cleaning to Kurt and Vernon; And as of now, Vernon was hopelessly lazy when it came to chores.

When he got to the bottom of the stairs, he saw his Uncle sitting on the couch. He was watching something on TV. Kurt didn't much care for the news, and that's what his uncle watched nine times out of ten.

"I'm making some fruit salad for dinner." Kurt announced as he walked past the entrance to the living room. His uncle turned to look at him.

"What's 'fruit salad'?" Vernon looked genuinely interested, which threw Kurt a little off guard. His uncle didn't give off the impression that he liked anything other than work.

"Its lettuce topped with cottage cheese, fruit cocktail, and crackers." Kurt paused slightly to turn to his uncle. His eyes had left the television and turned to the kitchen. His uncle nodded to himself before returning to watching the TV.

Once the plates were fixed and set on the table, his uncle joined him for a silent meal.

Kurt groaned into his pillow when he felt his phone buzz. He glared at the tiny device and answered.

"Hello?" He cleared his throat, the sound of grogginess made him whine deep in his throat.

"Hi Kurt! I waited to call you till now because I thought you would have finished school now." The bright and bubbly voice of Brittney sounded very loudly from the speaker of his phone. Kurt held the phone away from his ear and took the time to check his clock. 2:13am.

"I think you may have misheard Satan when you asked for the time difference." Kurt told the girl, his voice deeper than he had intended, the opposite to his natural high pitch.

"I didn't ask Santana. I looked it up myself!" She sounded so proud of herself. Kurt almost felt bad that he had to inform her of the time. He was sure she had taken the time out of her day to look it up.

"Sweetie, I think you may have misread the time zones. It's two in the morning here."

"But the time difference website said that the time was five hours ahead."

"Of course. So, what's up?" The conversation continued on like so, Brittney giving him updates in a way only Brittney could. Telling him of her dreams and of what she was sure her cat was doing while she was at school. They talked so long that Kurt was startled when his alarm went off.

"I've got to be getting to school and you need to be getting some sleep." Kurt didn't want to stop the girl from her excited retelling of her cat's second gold-digging wife.

"Okay. Bye Kurt." She sounded resigned, but happy, and tired.

"Goodbye Sweetie, have sweet dreams." Kurt was in a chipper mood as he got ready for school that day.

It was halfway through lunch for Kurt on a bright and windy Tuesday when his phone rang. He glanced at the caller id and cringed. He was glad that he had decided to eat lunch alone when he saw 'The Annoying One' on the screen.

"Rachel." He answered; he didn't know if he wanted to be dealing with her right now.

"Kurt! Hi. I haven't called, I'm sorry. As the leader of the Glee Club it should have fallen to me to keep in contact with our missing numbers. I've been in contact with Matt for a while, until he told me he was changing his number and forgot to give me his new one. It's been pretty hectic here what with the canceled play and getting Sam integrated into the club as seamlessly as possible." Rachel paused for breath giving Kurt the chance to speak.

"It's okay Rachel. Santana, Brittney, and Puckerman have been keeping me updated on the drama that is our club."

"I notice that you didn't mention Finn or Mercedes. Are they not telling you what has been happening in Glee?"

"Unfortunately, I have yet to hear them at all, much less their points of view of what has been happening over there."

"Oh. Well. I have some news that I thought would be best to hear from me, since I am the head of Glee, and I didn't feel right calling you after school yesterday since you would have been sleeping by then so I decided to wait to call you" Rachel would have continued if Kurt hadn't cleared his throat.

"What is it Rachel. I don't have the time to listen to your insatiable need to hear your own voice."

"David Karofsky joined Glee Club." She blurted, ignoring Kurt's insult. "He came in right before Glee started yesterday and auditioned. He wasn't as good as most of the boys in glee, but he is an excellent dancer. He sang 'Haven't Met You Yet' by Michael Bublé." Kurt was a little stunned. He didn't stop Rachel immediately as she ranted about the taller boy.

"Rachel I have to go. I'll call you later when I have the chance." Kurt blurted, interrupting the loud girl before hanging up, not giving her the chance to protest.

Kurt quickly found David's number and dialed out, pressing the phone tight up to his ear, ignoring that it would make his skin irritated later on. The phone rang four times before it was answered.

"Hello?" David's answer sounded groggy through the speaker.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were going to sign up for Glee?" Kurt couldn't keep the accusatory tone out of his voice. He had been on good terms with the other boy and thought they were close, at least as close as two people on different continents could be.

"Kurt?" David sounded confused. Kurt rolled his eyes. "Kurt! Oh my g- It slipped my mind. It didn't occur to me to tell you. I guess I'm still of the mind that you are still here, in the Choir room, singing along with everyone else." He sounded genuinely sorry. Kurt felt his heart stop. He wasn't there. He wasn't there singing with the rest of the glee club, he wasn't there to watch as new performers tried out for the team, he wasn't there to critic them or laugh with them or cheer with them. He was here.

"I, I have to go. Goodbye David." Kurt hung up, looking at the screen on his phone for a minute before pocketing the phone and going back to the courtyard. The next class would start soon.

Dave stared at his phone for a second before groaning and flopping back down on his bed, smothering himself with his pillow and muttering about how he ruined his friendship with Kurt.

He finally decided to get some more sleep before he had to leave for class. Eight minutes later his alarm went off.

Kurt could feel the stares he got for the rest for the day, students and teachers alike keeping their distance. He couldn't help it; he was in a bad mood. He was being forgotten. Was this how Matt felt? No, Matt was too friendly; Kurt wouldn't put it past the boy to have already gained a new group of friends by now.

He almost wished that he could be normal so he could mingle easily with his peers. He shook that thought off soon after it came. He spent too many years molding this image; he wouldn't get rid of it on a whim.

His mood did not lighten when he remembered that he hadn't called Matt himself. He had never been close to Matt, and he was pretty sure Mike kept in contact with the other boy; they had been pretty much inseparable when they were in Glee Club.

He didn't want to continue thinking about Matt. But that just brought to the fore front of his mind the fact that Finn and Mercedes haven't called him. And he had thought they were his best friends, well, he and Mercedes were best friends while Finn had been more like a brother.

It didn't change the fact that the two were ignoring him. And now, even David was leaving things out, and neither Puck nor Santana have texted him the news. He thinks maybe Brittney would tell him everything Friday. They've been in contact every Friday at 2am, or maybe that would be Saturday at 2 am.

He hated being out of the loop. It was further evidence that he wasn't needed. He wasn't a major part of the Glee Club; everything could go on like nothing happened without him.

He really needed friends here, people he could talk to. He would be meeting his cousin and his cousin's cousin soon he was sure.

Cousin's cousin will get confusing, Kurt thinks to himself. He decided to just call 'Harry the Delinquent' his cousin. It wouldn't really hurt anyone.

Kurt was minding his own business, sleeping peacefully on his bed in the middle of the night, when Rachel called in frenzy. Kurt rolled his eyes ad held in a yawn.

"Rachel, you need to speak slower, I can't understand you." Kurt told her, letting out a yawn that made his jaw crack. He needed more sleep.

"He slept with Santana!" Rachel belted out, making Kurt pull the phone from his face and rub his ear.

"Who?" He really didn't have time for this.

"Finn. He slept with Santana." Rachel sounded devastated. That's the only reason Kurt didn't bite out 'Duh'.

"When?" Of course, he needs to ask this, even though he is pretty sure he knows when.

"Last year, during the short period in which we weren't dating." Her voice was low, Kurt almost didn't hear her.

"Rachel honey, everyone knew that. Why are you freaking out?" He was too tired to be talking to this harpy.

"He told me he didn't!" He sighed again and rubbed his temple slightly, no need to cause wrinkles, no matter how tiring Rachel can get.

"Rachel, Finn is a typical teenage male. He tells you what you want to hear so you don't get hurt." He decided that straight forward was the only way to get her to leave him alone.

"You think so?" Rachel sounded a little less hurt now so Kurt thinks he'll get some sleep now.

"I know so. If he meant to hurt you he would have told you he had sex with Santana instead of what he told you." Kurt pulled his blanket up to his chin, ready to press the disconnect button and curl up.

"Thank you! You saved me from kissing Puck." Kurt could feel his eye twitch, what? Just, what is with their drama?

"Uh, Rachel, how did I save you from kissing Puck?" Kurt didn't know if asking was a good idea, but he couldn't help himself.

"I was going to make out with Puck to make Finn jealous." Kurt could feel his body telling him to hold itself back from punching the girl. If she was there with him, he would have at least slapped her.

"You do realize that that would have ruined any chance you would have had with Finn, right?" Kurt could feel the alertness fill his body. He wouldn't be able to sleep after this. Bitch.

"I'm going to sleep now. Don't call me unless it's an emergency." He hung up and tried to go back to sleep, but it didn't work. He tossed and turned for an hour before giving up and taking a shower.

Rachel looked at her phone for a second before setting it down on her bed, her body curling up against the headboard, her pillow tucked between her abdomen and her legs, her chin resting on her arms. Deep in thought, she wondered at what it would be like if she had gone through with her plans.

I know nothing about the educational system of London so I looked it up and this is what I got. If I am wrong on anything please tell me. I am American so I don't go to school in London and I never have.
